Micaela Erlanger & Mychal-Bella Bowman for La DoubleJ x (RED) Lotito continues to witness the challenges first hand from withdrawals of funding to gender inequalities and discrimination, 'I have just returned from Kenya where I met many of those on the front lines: doctors, nurses, community outreach workers, and the story was the same in every place - 'these cuts will kill us.' It's a travesty, and it galvanizes the work (RED) does,' she says. 'It also underlines the gratitude we have for La DoubleJ, and other fashion partners including Savas, Nomasei, AHLEM and Roxanne Assoulin, for stepping-up and stepping-out in support. We love seeing fashion serve as a cultural force to drive change,' proving that fashion can stand for something greater. Dee Poku & Busy Philipps for La DoubleJ x (RED) See more on

Karl Lagerfeld and Donald Duck Reunite for Capsule

QUACKING UP — An app that would let you 'Karl-ify' yourself would certainly be fun. Look what it's done for Donald Duck, who is now logging his second collaboration with the Karl Lagerfeld fashion house dressed in dark sunglasses, a high-collared shirt and a black blazer — his head feathers pulled into a jaunty ponytail. More from WWD Match Your Stripes While Traveling With My Style Bags' New Collab Inside Designer Arthur Arbesser's First Interior Design Project for the Altstadt Vienna Hotel Jil Sander Steps Into Venetian Glass With Formafantasma and Venini to Fete New Venice Store The latest Disney x Karl Lagerfeld capsule collection riffs on a hand-colored illustration of Donald Duck that the late designer created in 2004 to honor that beloved character's 70th anniversary, dressing the bird just like him. (The German designer was born only a few months before Donald Duck made his first appearance on film, cementing his affection for the temperamental bird.) Back in 2004, Disneyland Paris quickly sold out of a limited-edition series of 3,000 shirts bearing the artwork. And in 2023, when The Walt Disney Company marked its centenary year, it teamed up with Karl Lagerfeld. The fashion house won't divulge figures, but characterized that tie-up as a great success. The sketch, in various interpretations both color and black-and-white, appears on jeans jackets, sweaters, a bomber jacket and a casual blazer for the 2025 capsule, launching Thursday at Karl Lagerfeld stores, some Disney stores, select wholesale accounts and online at and Accessories options include backpacks, tote bags, handbags, sneakers, sunglasses, scarves and umbrellas. Pier Paolo Righi, chief executive officer at Karl Lagerfeld, considers the sketch a true collector's piece from the brand's archive, and a great example of the late German designer's sense of humor. 'Karl has created this iconic artwork himself to blend the appearance of two icons and merge it to one,' he told WWD. 'The request of Karl fans all over the bring back this art piece back to our collection was too big not to!'
