Robert Griffin III Flamed By MLK's Daughter For Doubling Down On Angel Reese Hating Caitlin Clark

Robert Griffin III has once again let his tweets concerning Angel Reese lead to a proper online roasting. This week was supposed to be a celebratory moment for Reese, who was named the NBA 2K26 WNBA cover athlete alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Carmelo Anthony, but instead, she was criticized for getting the honor. Mixed in with the jokes were some truly hateful comments, including a racist one that depicted Reese as a monkey on the cover. The former quarterback immediately came to her defense, denouncing the imagery in a lengthy retweet that began, 'Alright. This has got to stop. There is no place for racism in this world. Whether you like a player or not. Angel Reese should never be called or depicted as a Monkey.' But soon he reinserts himself into the issue, saying he stopped talking about Reese because she 'shared a video that aided in my wife, kids, family and friends receiving death threats, threats of physical harm to my family and friends and threats of sexual violence to my children on social media and beyond.' He continues on to double down on his claim from weeks ago that Reese and Caitlin Clark don't get along, and he's got the sources to prove it. 'People in Angel's inner circle called me and told me I was right and Angel Reese has grown to hate Caitlin Clark because of the media always asking her about Caitlin and being constantly compared to her,' he continues. He ends the message by saying that his critique of either of the players or their rivalry is not based on race and condemns the monkey in a uniform photo. 'If you hate Angel Reese because she is Black, you are the problem,' he writes. 'If you hate Angel Reese because you are a Caitlin Clark fan, don't turn it racial.' Griffin's anger over the racist depiction was worthy, but bringing up the Clark hate was misplaced, so Reese seemingly replied by calling him a liar over his insider information. 'Lying on this app when everybody know the first and last name of everybody in my circle for clout is nastyyyy work,' she tweeted. Even Martin Luther King Jr.'s daughter, Bernice, thinks Griffin III needs to stop the negative remarks Reese makes and speak to her one-on-one. RG3's last issue with Reese came in May when Clark had committed a take foul against her, which led to endless theories about their icy relationship. Griffin immediately took Clark's side, tweeting in part, 'there's no way Angel Reese can continue the lie that she doesn't dislike Caitlin Clark. I know what hatred looks like. Angel Reese HATES Caitlin Clark. Not some basketball rivalry hate either. Hate.' See social media's reaction to the ongoing criticism between RG3 and the Clark-Reese rivalry. French Montana Leaves Interview After He's Questioned About Drake & Rick Ross' Beef

Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty Drake and Kendrick Lamar's beef has filtered down into other entertainers like Rick Ross, who was even served up some pointed disses amid the trading of records. Now the feud has left rappers in limbo about who they should collaborate with, such as French Montana, who has two hits featuring Ross and Drake, 'Stay Schemin' and 'Pop That.' The 40-year-old Coke Boy has remained silent during the feud, but couldn't sit in the hot seat when he appeared on Rah Ali's Sited With Rah Ali podcast when he was asked if his two rap friends have peaced it up. 'What's the status of things with Ross and Drake?' Ali asks a bewildered Montana. The Bronx native does more than dodge the question; he tosses the headphones at the host and says 'touchdown' when she catches them. He then proceeds to get up, saying, ' I'll be right back. I think I double-parked my car outside. I'll be right back.' Another angle shows the French walking off the set and eventually out of the studio, leaving a confused Ali asking, 'Where is he going?' French never returned, and Page Six notes that it wasn't the first moment that irked him in the interview. The site reports that it started well with conversation about his success as a Bronx rapper who gained influence via his mixtape run, to now performing for the World Cup. But eventually the discussion turned to his personal life, which he refused to talk about, only saying, 'I'll skip that. I just want to keep my private life my private life.' That, plus the beef question, must have set him off. French's new signature may be to walk out of interviews when he's uncomfortable with the line of questioning because back in April, he was asked about Diddy, who's currently on trial for sex trafficking, while at LAX. 'Cmon, man,' French said before sidestepping the situation and quickly hopping on a nearby elevator. See how social media is reacting to French refusing to engage in the Ross-Drake beef below. Kendrick Lamar Performs 'Not Like Us' In Toronto & Fans Beg For An Encore, Social Media Piles On

Kendrick Lamar may have been the winner in his spring 2024 beef with Drake, but a year later, he's still pouring salt in the wound. He's currently traveling around the country for his Grand National Tour with SZA, but last night he went north of the border, taking the show to Drake's hometown of Toronto. During his set at Rogers Centre, he, of course, had to perform the creep anthem directed at Drake, 'Not Like Us.' After Thursday night's show, social videos immediately show Kendrick's other diss-related tracks, including 'Like That' and 'Euphoria,' as pyrotechnics ignited atop the stage, and the crowd can be heard singing along. Fans even begged to perform an encore of 'Not Like Us,' but he didn't oblige, instead moving on down the setlist. The performance went off without a hitch, with no special antics while on his foe's home turf, but ironically enough, he's got another Toronto show planned for tonight, which happens to be Friday the 13th. After that, he has two more East Coast shows before taking the tour overseas, with approximately 20 more shows in Germany, England, Spain, Italy, and concluding in August in Sweden. Then there are two more Australian shows scheduled for December. There's not much Drake could do to interfere with Kendrick's victory lap, though he did attempt to divert some of the attention away by scheduling a stream with Kai Cenat. It was rescheduled at the last minute, as they were supposed to select the fan winners of the 'Somebody Who Loves Me' music video contest. They linked up to give fans the chance to write treatments and send samples of how they'd direct the video, with 20 lucky submissions getting selected and receiving $15,000 each. 'We need more time with the treatments for somebody who loves me,' Cenat wrote on his Instagram Story Thursday. 'So we are pushing the stream back a few more days. Apologies.' Wale Confronts Kai Cenat For Not Recognizing Him At BET Awards, Social Media Reacts

Kai Cenat's rise in streaming has been accompanied by his ability to consistently keep the camera rolling, which creates its own set of problems and necessitates real-time problem-solving. The Gen Z whisperer was making his rounds before the BET Awards Monday night when he ran into Wale, but the only problem was that he didn't know who Wale was. In a video from yesterday afternoon, Cenat is seen walking through a parking lot when a man, later confirmed to be Wale, walks past him and gives him a dap. They have a brief interaction with Cenat, asking him about the Super Smash Bros game on his Nintendo Switch. After the friendly exchange, Cenat hops into the back of a truck, and his chat is immediately blowing up about his encounter with the D.C. rapper, but Cenat is bewildered. 'Wall-E, oh my god. That was crazy, the whole chat knows him,' Cenat says as he reads his phone. Someone in his entourage then corrects his pronunciation of his name, and tells him he's a rapper, even bringing up his Miguel-assisted hit 'Lotus Flower Bomb.' 'Oh word?' Cenat responds, clearly still having no idea who he is. Social media immediately harped on Cenat for not knowing who Wale is, and since it moves at the speed of light, Wale approached Cenat just hours later about the interaction. While on stream, Cenat is chopping it up with Snoop Dogg when Wale interjects. 'That sh-t making me look crazy right now, just letting you know. The exchange that we had in the hallway,' Wale says. 'They're running with it, but we'll talk later.' Cenat laughed it off and focused his attention back on Snoop, but we're sure this isn't the last we've seen of this situation. Wale has been making the media rounds lately, appearing on The Joe Budden Podcast and revealing to Billboard on the BET Awards red carpet that he has a new single with 4Batz coming this Friday, and the album will be released in a few weeks. Coco Gauff Wins French Open Title & Immediately Quotes Tyler, The Creator, Social Media Applauds

Source: Robert Prange / Getty America is back on top. Coco Gauff has won the French Open singles finals against Aryna Sabalenka. Top-ranked Sabalenka came out firing on all cylinders, beating second-ranked Gauff in the first set, but she came charging back to win, 6-7 (5), 6-2, 6-4. On Court Philippe-Chatrier, Gauff found herself down 1-4 at first and fought back for a tie-breaking point that eventually went to Sabalenka, but by then, she'd already discovered her momentum. Gauff had a big lead in the first set's tiebreaker, but Sabalenka's sheer power won out. She built on that in the second set, as Sabalenka kept falling victim to her own forced errors amid an impossibly windy day. Gauff had an early double break and remained calm, while her opponent's emotional swings affected her play. More momentum shifted in the third set, even down to championship point, which Gauff won off Sabalenka hitting it out of bounds. Gauff also made some history as the underdog in the match. Her losing the first set but winning the match marks only the 10th time that's happened in the women's finals. The last time an American woman won a French Open singles title was Serena Williams in 2015. Now, 21-year-old Gauff is the youngest to take home the Roland-Garros trophy since Williams in 2002. The win is another addition to Gauff's impressive list, which includes nine doubles titles, including the 2024 French Open . On her own, she's won ten career singles titles, and this French Open win becomes her second major win, with her first coming at the 2023 US Open. 'The crowd really helped me today, you guys were cheering for me so hard,' she began her acceptance speech. 'I appreciate you guys, merci beaucoup. I didn't think I could do it, but I'm going to quote Tyler, the Creator.' She continues, paraphrasing Tyler, The Creator's bars from 'St. Chroma': 'If I ever told you I had a doubt inside me, I must be lying.' See how social media is reacting below.
