Describe yourself in three words Loving, creative, demanding. What has been your biggest disappointment? Being let go from Strictly. Would you choose fame or anonymity? Fame, because I had a taste of it. Who is your celebrity crush? It's always been, since I first met him, David Tennant. What is your guiltiest pleasure? Sneaking cheese from the fridge. What is the worst thing anyone has said to you? In school, I was 11, and we had to paint a picture of family life. My painting was held up to the class and I was told it looked like a spider with ink on its feet had walked across the page. It was done so viciously – humiliating. What is the worst job you've done? In a Dagenham factory at 6am, picking soldiers' greatcoats from wars around the world to sell at the market in Chelsea. I smelled like mothballs, and no one would come near me. Which book are you ashamed not to have read? The Bible. What is your greatest fear? Dying. What does love feel like? Like you've got hot-water bottles all over you. What keeps you awake at night? One after the other, thoughts come banging in – and it's no sleep for you tonight, dearie. What would your superpower be? Good health for all. Valeriya Force Brings Tropical Passion With Her New Hit 'Thunder'
Tropical heat, Latin rhythm, and summer vibes. 'Thunder' by Valeriya Force is an English-language track made for movement and emotion. Out July 11. 'This song is for every woman who's ever danced in the rain and felt like she owned the sky.'— Valeriya Force HOLLYWOOD, FL, UNITED STATES, June 28, 2025 / / -- Valeriya Force to Release Summer Single 'Thunder' — A Dance of Passion and Power in the Florida Rain July 11, 2025 marks the release of a brand-new single from Valeriya Force — 'Thunder', a bold summer track infused with heat, sensuality, and feminine power. Blending Latin rhythms, tropical atmosphere, and emotional intensity, this record is a pulse of movement and liberation. The track is now available for pre-save: Born on the Road, in a Thunderstorm The song was born unexpectedly — during a drive from Miami to Sarasota. Rain poured outside, thunder cracked the skies, and suddenly a melody sparked in Valeriya's mind. That raw, vivid moment in the middle of the storm and highway became the creative ignition of 'Thunder.' A track built entirely on instinct, body, and freedom. What the Song Speaks 'Thunder' is a story of a woman who is no longer afraid. She doesn't perform or play nice. She moves with the rhythm of summer, owns her body, knows her desires, and doesn't apologize for her strength or sexuality. It's not a tale of surrender — it's a declaration: 'I am the thunder.' It is passion without drama. Power without aggression. Dance not for attention but for release. Her desire isn't vulnerability — it's her fire. She moves boldly, loves fiercely, and lives on her terms. Music That Feels Like Heat 'Thunder' is a vibrant fusion of Latin Pop, Dance, and Tropical Groove. The sound captures the post-rain heat of Miami — electric air, bodies in motion, skin sizzling, every beat syncing with the heartbeat. This track is crafted to be felt, not just heard. It doesn't play in the background — it takes over the moment. Behind the Sound: Production and Team 'Thunder' is the product of a creative partnership. Valeriya wrote the lyrics and melody, driven by pure intuition. The arrangement was created by Ukrainian producer Vlad Ustinov, delivering a rich, Latin-flavored atmosphere. Vocal recording was done in a home studio, with support from her husband Vladyslav Tkachenko, who coordinated the production process. Mixing and mastering were completed by Nikita Chena, known for his deep, textured audio work. Vladyslav Tkachenko also leads the business strategy of FORCEMUSIC INC, the independent label behind the release. He handles marketing, rollout, and vision. Valeriya Force is the creative powerhouse — not only the voice but the artistic mind behind the melody, mood, and emotion. This is not just collaboration — it's partnership. Vladyslav finds the sound. Valeriya feels and writes it. Together, they turn tracks into cinematic experiences. Why You Should Hear 'Thunder' This single is dropping at the peak of summer, right in Florida's rainy season. It sounds exactly like July in the tropics: hot, wet, sensual, and alive. This is music for nights alone, for rooftop parties, for dancing barefoot in your kitchen. For claiming your body. For expressing who you are without filters. For turning up the volume and letting go. First patient in Europe receives treatment for rare genetic condition
Mary Catchpole, 19, has become the first person in Europe to receive leniolisib (Joenja), a new drug approved for use on the NHS to treat activated PI3-Kinase delta syndrome (APDS). APDS is a rare inherited disorder that significantly weakens the immune system, making patients vulnerable to recurrent infections; Mary's family has been severely impacted, with four members, including her mother, dying from the condition. The new medicine, a simple tablet taken twice daily, is the first targeted treatment for APDS and works by inhibiting an overactive enzyme identified by Cambridge researchers in 2013. Mary described the drug as "life-changing", allowing her to reduce extensive medication and look forward to a more normal life, including pursuing her dream of becoming a dance teacher. Experts believe leniolisib will make a huge difference to APDS patients, with researchers now exploring its potential application for other, more common immune conditions.

Brits' most underrated parts of a night out revealed including spontaneous photos and cheesy chips
THE most underrated parts of a night out are hearing your favourite tune as you walk into a venue, and a spontaneous group snap that actually looks good. A poll of 2,000 Brits found partygoers also love someone pulling out surprisingly good dance moves. 2 2 As well as finally finding the pal who has gone for a wander, revellers also love sharing cheesy chips at the end of the night. But the biggest vibe-killers are big queues to get into bars or clubs, someone starting drama within the friendship group, and having to pay for an overpriced taxi home. The study also found 31 per cent of Gen Z hate forgetting their ID and getting turned away. The research was commissioned by cult cocktail maker Buzzballz, following the launch of its new 'BallzMobilez' in Clapham, London. Passersby were given free samples of the ready-made cocktail, as they were encouraged to celebrate the in-between moments of a night out. A spokesperson said: "Every night out is different, which is why we love them, and the best ones are spontaneous. 'When putting on your glad rags, you never know what is in store for you and that's the beauty of a night out.' To get ready for a big night on the tiles, 76 per cent have an alcoholic drink on their way out. With nights considered to start when getting ready (24 per cent), but for 12 per cent, it truly begins at someone's house for pre-drinks. With 40 per cent of Gen Z respondents claiming that going to an off-licence between pre-drinks and a bar makes the night more fun, compared to 19 per cent of all adults. The tipple of choice for 29 per cent is ready made cocktails, but for 39 per cent it's wine or beer. Ready to drink cocktails are the pre-drink of choice for Gen Z, with 45 per cent saying this is what they'd grab for their in-between moments. It also emerged the night out truly peaks when they are at the venue (47 per cent), although 13 per cent think the pinnacle is when they're getting ready at a friend's house. The research, carried out via OnePoll, found 35 per cent prefer a spontaneous night out. And 38 per cent feel random moments make the night out more memorable. But 41 per cent said being too cold or wet would bring a close to proceedings. A spokesperson for Buzzballz, which will see its BallzMobilez at Clapham Junction on Saturday from 2pm, added: 'Spontaneous nights out are sometimes some of the best, and let's be real, half the night is spent getting to the good bit. 'It's important to keep the good times rolling, even if you're not quite at the party…yet.'

FULL CIRCLE BOYS LEAP FORWARD WITH DEBUT EP JETÉ AND OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO "THIS GOES OUT TO YOU" -- OUT NOW
An evocative pop debut from a genre-bending artistic collective of vocalists, songwriters, and dancers breaking new ground in music. LOS ANGELES, June 27, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- After months of building buzz and a surge of online fan support that has attracted millions of views, Full Circle Boys officially debut today with their highly anticipated EP Jeté, now available on all streaming platforms. Simultaneously, the band releases the official music video for the opening track, "THIS GOES OUT TO YOU," on YouTube. Rooted in the dance community and built through years of artistic collaboration, the five-member group—Jagger Moon, James Herron, Sean Garrity, Dossan Bell, and Oliver Hincy—redefines what a pop group can be. With a focus on movement as much as melody, Full Circle Boys bring a fresh, cinematic, American edge to a genre often driven by convention. "This project is deeply personal," the group states in a joint statement. "Jeté isn't just a dance move—it's our story. We are finally taking flight from the studio to the stage, from freestyling in basements to writing and recording our music." Their debut project, Jeté (French for "to leap"), reflects their physical training and a creative philosophy: art in motion, stories told through rhythm, vulnerability, and form. The EP covers a wide emotional spectrum, balancing explosive dance anthems with hypnotic, introspective production. Behind the music is a collaborative team of top producers, including Tricky Stewart (Beyoncé, Rihanna), whose genre-defining production elevates the project's sonic goals. Other standout tracks are "SCREAM," written and produced by Dossan Bell, and "SUPERSTAR," written by Jagger Moon, which showcase the group's songwriting talent and unique viewpoints. They also released their recent hit single "M80," which earned over a million views in its first two weeks. The video for "THIS GOES OUT TO YOU" is directed and choreographed by acclaimed creator and ongoing Full Circle collaborator Keone Madrid (BTS, Justin Bieber). It's a visual statement crafted with complexity and a close-knit team on location. The film pushes the limits of traditional pop visuals, showcasing the group not only as vocalists and performers but also as artists unafraid to challenge expectations. "This video is a thank you to everyone who helped us get here," says Jagger Moon. "We wanted our first visual to reflect the heart behind the EP: movement, emotion, and gratitude." Jeté marks the first of several forthcoming releases from the group, teasing an expansive creative journey into what could be America's next boy band.
