Stars arrive in London for European premiere of F1: The Movie
The stars of F1: The Movie have made a pit stop in London for the European premiere of the film. The movie is out in UK cinemas on June 25, and in it Brad Pitt stars as a veteran driver making a return to the sport after nearly three decades. He leads an ensemble cast that includes Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo. The film, directed by Joseph Kosinski, was filmed on Formula 1 tracks during the 2023 and 2024 seasons, with some scenes shot at the Atlassian Williams Racing headquarters in Grove, Oxfordshire. It has has received mixed reviews from critics. Pitt was among the stars on the red carpet at the premiere at Cineworld, Leicester Square, arriving with girlfriend Ines de Ramon. It comes just as Pitt made an appearance on Dax Shephard's Armchair Expert podcast, where they spoke about getting to know each other in an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
