Egypt: President El-Sisi Speaks with President of Ukraine Zelensky
Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said the two Presidents discussed the latest developments in the Russian-Ukrainian crisis. President El-Sisi emphasized the crucial importance of reaching diplomatic and political solutions, stressing the imperative to prioritize dialogue as a means of resolving the current crisis. The President reaffirmed Egypt's full support for all efforts aimed at reaching a peaceful settlement at the earliest time possible. The call also focused on developments in the Middle East and ways to restore regional stability. The two sides underscored the necessity of upholding the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran, affirming the urgent need to resume negotiations as a pathway to a peaceful resolution of the crisis. President El-Sisi also reviewed Egypt's ongoing efforts to secure a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and ensure the delivery of desperately-needed humanitarian aid and assistance. President El-Sisi and Ukrainian President Zelenskyy also tackled ways to strengthen bilateral relations and explored prospects for cooperation across various fields, particularly in the economic, trade, and investment sectors, in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and their peoples. UAE: 'Uncalculated, reckless steps' could violate Iranian, Israeli borders, says foreign minister
As the conflict between Israel and Iran rages on, the UAE has again called for regional and international efforts to de-escalate the growing military confrontation between the two countries, In a statement issued by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the UAE reaffirmed that there is no alternative to political and diplomatic solutions. The ongoing conflict, now entering its sixth day, has sparked deep concerns across the region and the international community. "The UAE, which condemned the Israeli military attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran from the very first hours, believes the time has come for a diplomatic approach that leads both parties to calm the situation and end the confrontation," Sheikh Abdullah said. "Swift action is needed to prevent the situation from spiralling into dangerous and unpredictable consequences." He warned against reckless decisions that could expand the conflict beyond the borders of the two nations, stressing that only immediate de-escalation can prevent further destabilisation in the region.

Sultan of Oman, Iranian president discuss Israeli strikes, diplomatic solutions
LONDON: Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman held a phone call on Monday with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to offer condolences for the Iranian victims of Israeli airstrikes and discuss the latest developments. Sultan Haitham condemned the damage caused by Israeli strikes to infrastructure and facilities, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured Iranian citizens. He stressed the need for de-escalation from both sides and called for negotiations and dialogue to prevent the ongoing conflict from deteriorating, the Oman News Agency reported. He reaffirmed the Omani government's commitment to activate diplomatic efforts to resolve the crisis, prevent its escalation, and establish fair and just settlements that restore normalcy. Pezeshkian said that while his country is facing Israeli aggression, it supports diplomatic solutions through dialogue and negotiation, emphasizing the importance of adhering to international law and respecting Iran's sovereignty, the ONA added.
