Carson Tyler, Josh Hedberg win U.S.' first men's diving medal at worlds in decade
Carson Tyler and Josh Hedberg earned synchronized platform bronze for the first U.S. podium finish in a World Diving Championships men's event since 2015. Tyler, a Paris Olympian, and Hedberg, the individual platform national champion, rallied from a tie for sixth place after the first two lower-difficulty dives to reach the podium after six rounds in Singapore on Tuesday. China's Cheng Zilong and Zhu Zifeng had their own rally for gold, erasing a 13.11-point deficit going into the final round. They overtook Nikita Shleikher and Ruslan Ternovoi, neutral athletes from Russia, by a score of 429.63 to 428.70. Tyler and Hedberg totaled 410.70, taking bronze by 11.43 over a British duo. GB's Harper and Mew Jensen win diving silver at Worlds
Great Britain's Yasmin Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen claimed silver in the women's 3m synchronised diving final at the World Aquatics Championships. The pair, who won Team GB's first medal of the 2024 Olympics with a bronze in Paris, finished off with their highest score of 69.75 as they achieved 298.35 points in Singapore. China's Yiwen Chen and Jia Chen were top of the standings with 325.20 points, while Lia and Mia Cueva Lobato, of Mexico, were third with 294.36 points. Harper and Mew Jensen have now won three consecutive medals together at the World Aquatics Championships, having claimed silver in 2023 and bronze in 2024. In the men's 10m synchronised diving, GB's Kyle Kothari and Robbie Lee produced a strong last dive to finish fourth with 399.27 points as China's Zilong Cheng and Zifeng Zhu narrowly claimed gold with 429.63 points.

World Aquatics Championships: Chinese duo Wang, Zheng win men's 3m synchronised diving
Chinese diving duo Wang Zongyuan and Zheng Jiuyuan won gold in the men's three-metre synchronised event at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore on Monday. Wang and Zheng finished on an impressive 467.31 points, but were pushed all the way by Mexico's Osmar Olvera and Juan Celaya, who scored 449.28. Great Britain's Jack Laugher and Anthony Harding rounded off the podium with 405.33 for bronze. The Chinese pair scored an impressive 99.18 in their final and most difficult dive, pulling off an almost flawless forward 4½ somersaults. Zheng, 21, won his first world championship title on Sunday in the 1m springboard after failing to win a medal in the previous two years. China can add more diving gold at 6pm, when Olympic champion Cheng Yuxi and partner Zhang Minjie team up in the women's 10m synchronised event.

Diver Ainslee Kwang, 14, may not have reached the podium — but she still counts it as a proud moment to represent her country.
