Dobbies Moreton Park to host free Grow Your Own workshops
The workshop will cover tips for growing fruit, vegetables, and flowers at home.
Part of Dobbies' Grow How series, the event offers a chance to learn from the garden centre's Green Team in an interactive setting.
Nigel Lawton, plant buyer at Dobbies, said: "Growing flowers, vegetables, and fruit from scratch is a rewarding process.
"Even if you are new to gardening, it can be surprisingly easy to get started, but it's always nice to hear some top tips to broaden your knowledge.
"There are so many wonderful plants to grow in your garden and any outdoor space.
"Our Grow How workshops are a great way to learn about what grows well at certain times throughout the year.
"Now is the perfect time to plant potatoes to have ready to tuck into just in time for Christmas dinner."
The Moreton Park workshop will cover topics including starting plants from seed, selecting tasty and attractive fruits, easy-to-grow vegetables, and making high-quality compost.
Attendees will also have the chance to take part in a question-and-answer session and receive advice on growing potatoes in time for Christmas.
The Grow How workshops are designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned gardeners.
They aim to help people make the most of their outdoor spaces and enjoy the many benefits of gardening.
Spaces for the workshop are limited and must be booked in advance.
