Axed Love Island bombshell takes a swipe at the show after brutal dumping

AN axed Love Island hunk has taken a swipe at the show after his brutal dumping. Personal trainer Will Means arrived as a sleepover bombshell and pursued Welsh beauty Emily Moran in the other villa. 4 The pair got on well as friends but lacked any romantic spark and she decided to remain couple with Conor Phillips, despite the I rishman's growing attraction to Megan Clarke back in the original villa. As a result, Will was sent home, along with bombshells Caprice and Poppy, neither of whom were picked by villa boys Dejon Williams and Remell Mullings. Back in the other villa, Shea Mannings was dumped after Helena Ford chose to recouple with new boy Gio Russo. Now back in the UK, Will shared a selfie on Instagram and wrote: "Just got my phone back. "First thoughts are I was shafted with my Love Island pictures [laughing emojis]. "Thank you for all the messages. Will go through them next couple of days." The departures are continuing to come thick and fast with another two Islanders already out the door. In scenes that will air tonight, the least popular boy and girl, as voted by the public, were dumped. While The Sun is not naming the duo to preserve the surprise, fans will be rocked by the departures. We can reveal the girl is an OG who has been at the centre of plenty of drama this series and will be much missed by all. Love Island fans convinced couple secretly had sex after steamy bed scenes at night Meanwhile, in a further clue, the lad could be considered a 'cheat' for his antics in the villa. A source said: 'Couples have been in constant flux this series and there's a good few that have been accused of 'cheating' with secret snogs leading to explosive rows. 'Conor and Megan have just caused chaos with their Hideaway stay over and terrace smooches, while Harry and Helena first got that ball rolling in the first week. 'Remell was trouble in the sleepover too and even Shakira has got up to some illicit snogging. 'It could be anyone so bosses are hoping viewers have fun speculating what's gone down before the big reveal.' 4 4

'Love Island USA''s Jeremiah Says Ace Is 'Definitely the Ringleader' of Boys in Villa: 'Why Are You So Obsessed?' (Exclusive)

Days after he was dumped from Love Island USA, Jeremiah Brown is reflecting on his journey in the villa and how it felt for his close friends to dump him "I'm still a little upset," he tells PEOPLE of the result of the dumping — and that it was Taylor who delivered the news, not Nic, who was his "best friend" He also weighs in on fan speculation about the larger role Ace Greene plays in the villa and how he involves himself in everyone else's relationshipJeremiah Brown is getting real about the role Ace Greene plays in the Love Island USA villa. Days after the 25-year-old was dumped from the Fiji villa by his fellow islanders — Ace, Taylor Williams and Nic Vansteenberghe — he sat down with PEOPLE to debrief his experience and unpack his shocking exit. He's also weighing in on fan speculation about the influence that Ace, 22, has in the villa as a whole. When asked about fans' theories that Ace acts like a producer of sorts amongst the islanders, pointing them in different directions and encouraging certain behavior, Jeremiah says he'd "have to agree." "Because that's all I heard in the Villa too, is just, yeah, you just tell everyone how to play the game and what to do, and call it advice," he adds. Jeremiah says Ace has an "amazing personality" and is "so funny," so he thought they were going to get along better. "I had a lot of respect for him, and I was like, 'Oh, this guy's really funny. That's going to be my guy.' But then it was just like, 'Do this, do this. Don't do that. Don't do that. You're messing up.'" He remembers thinking, "'Whoa, why are you so obsessed with how I'm dating and doing the show?'" "So you know, 100%, he's definitely the ringleader of Nic and Taylor, respectfully," Jeremiah confirms. Jeremiah reveals that Ace and Pepe would tell the boys "every day, 'Don't be locked in.'" "Ace and Pepe were very [much] advocates of, 'Explore everybody, 24/7. I'm just waiting for a bombshell,' which is totally fine," he says. "He was definitely still like, 'You know, just play the game, and don't be locked in until week five or six,' and I'm just like, 'All right, buddy.'" He makes sure to note that Pepe is "my guy" and "still a really close friend to me," but regardless, "He was definitely still like, 'You know, just play the game, and don't be locked in until week five or six.'" After weeks spent locked in with Huda Mustafa, Jeremiah began exploring other options, first with Iris Kendall, and then with bombshell Adreina Santos. His connection with Adreina was cut short, though, when the boys voted for him to be dumped. "Honestly I was just like, 'What the hell?'" he says of his reaction to be dumped. "It was honestly just betrayal." The delivery of the news was upsetting to him, too. "I was not upset that it was Taylor, but I feel like it could have been Nic or Ace [who told me], because Ace — we never saw eye to eye. We had a lot of great moments, but we never saw eye to eye, so at least tell me that. Or Nic, you're my best friend, so at least tell me that," he says. "I'm still a little upset," he admits. "But yeah, I'm like, I get it." Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Canada to limit foreign steel imports to help producers hit by U.S. tariffs

Prime Minister Mark Carney is taking action to crack down on the dumping of cheap foreign steel into Canada to help the country's big three steel producers reeling from U.S. President Donald Trump's 50-per-cent tariffs. Mr. Carney in a press conference in Ottawa on Thursday said the government will limit steel imports from countries that don't have a free trade agreement with Canada to 2024 levels. He said the move will 'stabilize the domestic market and prevent harmful trade diversion as the result of the U.S. actions that are destabilizing markets.' Trump in early June doubled tariffs on steel imports to 50 per cent. The Canadian Steel Producers Association, which represents 17 companies, including Algoma Steel Group Inc., Dofasco and Stelco, has repeatedly advocated for antidumping duties to help ease the pain of the U.S. tariffs on Canadian steel producers. Algoma Steel Group Inc. chief executive Michael Garcia has argued on multiple occasions that mills from China, South Korea, Malaysia, India, Vietnam, the Middle East and Turkey regularly dump steel into Canada. That makes it nearly impossible for the company to compete in its home market at a time when the U.S. market has become unviable owing to Mr. Trump's tariffs. He pleaded for the government to immediately place anti-dumping tariffs on the offending countries. Dumping is selling at an artificially low price to gain market share. About 60 per cent of the domestic steel market is controlled by foreign producers. Mr. Carney said that on July 21 Canada will adjust counter tariffs placed on U.S. imports of steel and aluminum to levels that will depend on how ongoing trade talks with the Trump administration are going. When Mr. Trump first imposed 25-per-cent tariffs on Canadian steel imports in March, Ottawa responded by imposing reciprocal tariffs on imports of U.S. steel. But Canada subsequently granted a tariff reprieve on some products coming from the U.S., including steel used in manufacturing and processing. Earlier this week at the G7 summit in Alberta, Mr. Carney said that he and Mr. Trump had agreed to work on a deal that would see the trade war end within 30 days. The government on Thursday also said that effective June 30 it will limit its steel purchases for federal projects to domestic producers and to foreign countries that provide reciprocal access to Canadian companies.

Stop the dump: MSM Malaysia urges action on cheap Thai sugar imports

KUALA LUMPUR, June 19 — MSM Malaysia Holdings Bhd reiterates its call for a tariff on imported sugar to address the ongoing influx of low-priced Thai sugar into the domestic market. Group chief executive officer Syed Feizal Syed Mohammad said MSM, which produces refined sugar for both industrial and retail consumption, and Central Sugars Refinery Sdn Bhd (CSR) have jointly requested the government to consider imposing a tariff on imported sugar, particularly from Thailand, to safeguard the domestic sugar industry from dumping practices. He pointed out that when Thai sugar was dumped into Vietnam's market, the Vietnamese did not hesitate to impose a 48 per cent tariff. 'Our effective production capacity, combined with CSR, is about 2.8 million tonnes per year, and domestic demand is about 1.55 million tonnes per year. 'So we have enough capacity to meet the demand, and there is no need to import sugar,' he told a press conference after MSM's 14th Annual General Meeting here today. Syed Feizal emphasised that MSM can compete in terms of scale and efficiency, but stressed that protection is necessary in cases of price dumping. 'It is not that we cannot compete. But why do we have to face dumping practices? Liberalising the market sometimes works against the local industry and even the ringgit,' he added. Regarding the revision and expansion of the Sales and Service Tax (SST), Syed Feizal said MSM is engaging with the Royal Malaysian Customs Department and the Ministry of Finance (MOF) to determine whether the five per cent SST applies to raw sugar used in production. He said that while MSM could pass on the cost to industrial users, the retail segment, which is governed by a controlled ceiling price, would be impacted. 'What we will not be able to pass on is consumer products, which are on the retail shelves, because these products are under a controlled ceiling price. 'So that clarity is required, and we are engaging the government accordingly,' he added. — Bernama

Love Island fans vent their fury over 'savage' dumping after one girl bids farewell to the villa as they plead 'bring her back for Casa Amor!'

A little over a week into Love Island's new series, fans have already been treated to three dumpings. But Wednesday's axe was one that fans found difficult to swallow, as it was revealed that Malisha Jordan had been dumped after a 'savage' off-screen twist. Tuesday's cliffhanger revealed that bombshell Harrison Solomon would choose either Malisha or Toni Laites to couple up with, with the girl left single immediately dumped from the villa. And in the opening minutes of the next episode, viewers saw the moment Harrison headed into the villa with Toni on his arm, meaning Malisha had exited the show, without a chance to even say her goodbyes. Given she had already ruffled feathers by clashing with Meg Moore, some viewers were quick to share their disappointment that Malisha had left the show, with one even calling for her to return during Casa Amor. Posts on X included: 'Malisha was ROBBED, Dejon and Meg you will not see peace till the end of this season. Trust me;' Tuesday's cliffhanger revealed that bombshell Harrison Solomon would choose either Malisha or Toni Laites to couple up with, with the girl left single immediately dumped from the villa 'Producers done p****d me off. They didn't even give Malisha a proper exit. She just vanished;' 'I feel so sad, Malisha;' 'Malisha had SO much potential, what a waste, gutted for her!' 'Malisha getting an off-screen dumping is savage;' 'I hope they bring Malisha back for Casa Amor.' Fans have expressed how they're not impressed with the decision to send in islanders who aren't from the UK, considering the programme now has its own US version as well as one based in Australia. During last night's episode even voiceover host Ian Stirling joked: 'So an American from Vegas flew to Mallorca to meet a Brit living in Miami who came on a British TV show looking for romance.' Viewers have raged: 'Why are they bringing more Americans onto UK Love Island? '; 'Why are these Americans coming on uk love island like, love island USA is right there. We do NOT want Americans on Love Island UK,'; 'I don't like the addition of an American to UK Love Island. Bringing them on UK love island just doesn't make sense to me #LoveIsland.' When asked if she move abroad for love Toni replied: 'I've lived in three different states and I'm still single. It's time to try something new. I have some British friends and they're pretty charming. 'I think all Americans love a good accent. British men are just more polite, with better manners.' When asked if he'd be willing to embark on a long-distance relationship, Harrison told bosses: 'I've done long distance before so it's not really an issue for me. 'I don't know if or when I'm going back to America. But that's not an issue. If you like a person you'll make it work. 'I do really like American girls. Their personality is slightly different, in general they're more confident and go for what they want. But I like a challenge, I like a bit of the chase.' ITV confirmed to the Mail that Toni and Harrison's arrivals were the first of even more 'twists' in the series.
