e-Pauti campaign launched in Mysuru
Minister for Social Welfare H.C. Mahadevappa launched the e-Pauti campaign in Mysuru district on Friday. As announced in the 2025–26 Budget, the campaign aims at transfering land ownership records (pauti) identified during the Aadhaar linking of RTCs (Record of Rights, Tenancy, and Crops) to rightful heirs. Previously, farmers in rural areas faced several difficulties in updating ownership records. Now, the government will provide the service at the people's doorsteps to resolve their grievances efficiently, a press release said. According to Additional Deputy Commissioner P. Shivaraju, around 2,58,076 beneficiaries are expected to avail themselves of the benefit in the district, and the administration will take steps for effective implementation.

Janaspandana to ensure transparent grievance redressal: Minister in charge of Mysuru
Minister in charge of Karnataka's Mysuru district H.C. Mahadevappa on Friday said that the State government is committed to resolving people's problems transparently and eliminating middlemen in grievance redressal. Inaugurating the district-level Janaspandana and e-Pauti campaign at the Zilla Panchayat auditorium, Mr. Mahadevappa said that Karnataka Development Programme (KDP) meetings are held every three months, while Janata Darshan programmes are organised every six months to address public grievances directly. 'Officials should provide details on how many petitions received in earlier Janaspandana programmes have been resolved. Applicants whose petitions face legal hurdles must also be informed. People should be made aware of transparent governance,' he directed officials. On Friday, over 200 petitions were received, up from 113 in the previous programme. The Minister said that the data has been compiled on the types of problems raised, departments concerned, petitions resolved, and actions pending. 'The administration will always stand with people to address their grievances,' he assured. He added that direct interaction with the people not only resolves their issues, but also helps address administrative bottlenecks within government offices. 'To eliminate middlemen, Janaspandana programmes will be held every six months to ensure direct contact between citizens and the administration,' he informed. Street vendors, differently-abled persons, and daily-wage workers submitted requests for housing facilities. Their petitions have been collected, and necessary steps have been assured to provide multi-housing facilities. 'Steps will be taken to ensure housing for everyone. Officials must identify economically backward people who are not receiving benefits and extend all necessary facilities to them,' Mr. Mahadevappa said. MLC C.N. Manjegowda, State Guarantee Implementation Committee Chairman H.M. Revanna, Deputy Commissioner G. Lakshmikanth Reddy, Zilla Panchayat CEO Yukesh Kumar, City Police Commissioner Seema Latkar, Superintendent of Police N. Vishnuvardhan, MCC Commissioner Sheikh Tanveer Asif, Additional Deputy Commissioner P. Shivaraju, and officials from various other departments were present.
