Strictly Come Dancing winner who made show history looks '10 years younger' says fans
Strictly Come Dancing winner who made show history looks '10 years younger' says fans Bill Bailey, who won Strictly Come Dancing in 2020, appeared on BBC Breakfast on Thursday but fans were more distracted with his new look Bill Bailey won the show in 2020 with Oti Mabuse (Image: BBC/Guy Levy ) Strictly Come Dancing champion Bill Bailey has caused quite a stir among BBC Breakfast viewers with his revamped image. The 60-year-old multi-talented star graced the iconic red sofa on Thursday (June 26) to discuss his forthcoming tour with presenters Naga Munchetty and Ben Thompson. Yet, it wasn't long before the focus shifted to his appearance, as Bill showcased a neatly trimmed hairstyle, a stark contrast to his signature flowing mane. Presenter Naga queried: "Are you ever going to grow your hair again?". To which Bill responded: "I quite like the short hair." Naga offered words of encouragement to the guest, remarking: "It looks lovely" while Bill chimed in: "Especially now in the hot weather. It's great.", reports Edinburgh Live. The comedian left BBC Breakfast viewers distracted with his new look (Image: BBC ) Article continues below Bill's fresh haircut didn't just capture the studio's attention; viewers at home were quick to comment, with some suggesting he looked significantly younger. On X, previously known as Twitter, one admirer wrote: "#bbcbreakfast He looks ten years younger." Another viewer expressed: "He looks better with that straggly hair cut off #bbcbreakfast." Meanwhile, a third observer noted: "Bill has cut his hair off #bbcbreakfast." Bill had previously disclosed that his decision to chop off his locks came after a close call last year during a barbecue mishap. Bill showcased a neatly trimmed hairstyle (Image: BBC ) While on The Graham Norton Show, Bill recounted: "I was on a hiking holiday in the summer and at one point I was leaning over a barbecue and my hair caught on fire. I think the universe was telling me it was time." The television personality shared an amusing anecdote about being mistaken for a more youthful version of himself, saying: "The other day someone came up to me and said 'You look just like Bill Bailey, but younger'. It's great." Bill clinched the Strictly Come Dancing title alongside his dance partner Oti Mabuse in 2020. Article continues below Bill Bailey (Image: PA ) This triumph was particularly noteworthy as it saw Bill become the oldest contestant ever to win the show, while Oti made history by becoming the first professional dancer to secure back-to-back victories, having previously won in 2019 with ex-Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher. Emmerdale star Sammy Winward's daughter Mia Dunn takes a swipe at her estranged parents over getting a 'real job' after OnlyFans fallout
Sammy Winward's daughter Mia Dunn took aim at her estranged parents in a new racy post as she joked about getting a 'real job' amid their OnlyFans fallout. Mia is the lookalike daughter of ex-Emmerdale actress, Sammy Winward, and former Blackburn Rovers footballer, David Dunn. It was previously reported that Sammy was no longer on speaking terms with Mia and they had been estranged for four months after the teen, 19, joined the X-rated site. The family fallout also apparently included her father and other relatives, with Mia prevously insisting her mother was 'jealous' of her success online. One of Mia's recent posts appeared to be a dig at her mother, as she shared a snap in an unbuttoned shirt and short skirt with stockings. Mia said she now had a 'real job' with a tongue face emoji, as she seemingly poked fun at her decision to make money from the subscription-based site. In another reference to her racy career, Mia also posted a cheeky clip of her walking along wearing a white co-ord before lifting her skirt to reveal her knickers. She said: 'Now why would a girl have a 9-5 when she can do silly things like this and get paid £100,000 a month.' Mia recently revealed she has made a fortune of $420,000 (£322,725) since she joined the adult content creator site. She wrote on Instagram: '$420k since, on the hub, on the blue and white site and travelling the world' Captioned her post, she wrote: '1 month and it'll be a whole year with you guys so unbelievably grateful for everyone who supported me watch out for a surprise on [OnlyFans] keep an eye out x #life #travel #successful #blonde' Mia recently claimed her feud with her family over her OnlyFans career has reached a new low. Adult model Mia made an impressive £10,000 in January alone from her racy photos. In an interview Mia has claimed that her dad, former Blackburn player David, called her a 'w***e' and slammed the phone down on her. 'I tried to reconnect with my dad and he called me a w***e on the phone,' Mia told The Sun. 'I'm completely fully cut off and they want any sort of contact, which is really big shame because I thought I'd be the bigger person in the whole situation,' she said of the feud with both her parents, who split when she was a child. 'I think it's crazy to have such anger towards me when I am in fact at the end of the day their daughter. 'I do totally get the fact that they don't love what I do, but at the same time, I am, I'm a human being and especially - I am the human being that came out of my mother.' Mia also claimed that her mum is envious of her hugely successful career. Over the festive period, Sammy refused her daughter's olive branch as she continues to disapprove of her daughter selling X-rated images and videos online, according to The Sun. Mia, who goes by the name of Mia Kate Rose, told the publication: 'I think the main thing with my mum is that she was really young – 18 – when she had me. 'I think she's got some animosity towards me. I think she is maybe just jealous about me doing so well and so quickly. 'I think that's what my parents' issue is really. They think I've done it off their backs, but actually, behind the scenes, it takes a lot more work than just being their daughter.' It comes after Mia revealed that Sammy hasn't tried to get in touch with her and that other relatives have called and texted her with abusive messages when she tried to contact them. She said back in August: 'My mum has me blocked on everything. So yeah, she didn't contact me whatsoever. A few other family members have contacted me but I made the decision to let them cool off slightly because the messages they were sending weren't lovely.' The mother and daughter were thought to have been close, previously describing their relationship as being like 'best mates', but Mia admitted that was untrue and in fact they sometimes 'butted heads' due to their similarities. While she refused to speak negatively of her family, she confessed that she felt their reaction was extreme, insisting she would never do the same to her future children. She said: 'I've honestly not got anything bad to say about any of them per se, but the way they've reacted to the situation personally, it just wouldn't even cross my mind to do that to my own child, I think.' While she remains hopeful that she and Sammy can patch things up, Mia explained that she would be taking a step back until everyone had cooled off and said it would be down to her family to be the ones to reach out to make amends. She said: 'I feel like at this point it is going to have to be them coming to me because I've tried to maintain contact in the past and they just don't have any of it and then I end up getting like, all the abuse like through the phone, through text messages, calls.
