Loose Women legend slams ITV as she 'confirms' her future
Janet Street-Porter has been one of the longest serving panellists on the show after joining in 2011, and she has now shed light on what the future holds for her on the show Loose Women star Janet Street-Porter has opened up about her future on the hit ITV show amid much upheaval for the programme. Janet Street-Porter first stepped foot onto the Loose Women set back in 2011 and has been a regular on the show ever since. But it wasn't her first foray into the media industry. After going to university to study architecture, she later quit in a bid to get into fashion journalism. After progressing quickly, she was appointed fashion editor of the Daily Mail in her early twenties. Later making the switch to TV, she has, in recent years, been a focal part of the Loose Women panel. Amid significant changes at the show, she now stands as one of its longest-serving panellists. One major change came in May when ITV announced that it would be reducing the show's run from 52 weeks to just 30, starting in 2026. Giving her verdict on the decision, she recently told The Guardian: 'I don't agree with how they've done the cuts.' In light of the news that the show will see a reduction in output, Janet revealed she is certain about where she stands regarding her future on the programme: "Oh, I know I'm going to keep that job. Don't waste your bloody time trying to get a scoop on that.' There have also been reports of several other changes, including the cutting of 220 jobs, the removal of celebrity guests, and the axing of the live audience element. Another star of the show, Nadia Sawalha, shared her thoughts on the loss of the live audience, telling her Coffee Moaning podcast: "From next year there will be no Loose Women audience,' adding, 'I am totally devastated by this fact. I can't get over it at all.' In recent years, the show has introduced a number of new faces, with former Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver now a permanent panellist on the show alongside ex-Love Islander Olivia Attwood. Podcaster GK Barry became the youngest panellist when she joined the show last year. Loose Women is set to return today (July 17) at 12:30 p.m. on ITV.

Danny Dyer leaves daughter Dani horrified with X-rated honeymoon confession
Danny Dyer isn't exactly famous for holding his tongue, but the actor has left daughter Dani Dyer mortified with an NSFW confession. Former EastEnders star Danny, 47, shares Dani, 28, Sunnie, 18, and son Arty, 11, with his wife, Jo, whom he wed in 2016. They're an incredibly close family, with Danny and Dani having worked together on several occasions, fronting their own travel show and hosting a podcast. However, her dad's latest admission was definitely TMI, even for Dani. The influencer and ex-Love Islander recently returned from her honeymoon after marrying West Ham star Jarrod Bowen. Speaking on their Live And Let Dyers pod, Dani reflected on their blissful getaway to Lake Como and the beautiful time she and her new hubby had, despite the miserable weather. 'The weather was terrible; it rained for three days,' she told Danny. 'But we were very lucky, because it always stopped raining when we went for lunch and for dinners and stuff.' She added: 'We just could never sunbathe, and there's not really much to do there. 'So, we just binged the whole series of MobLand. We ate and I'd just drink champagne and have loads of baths!' The TV personality and mum to three kids declared that the newlyweds were 'just so happy the whole time', having made the most of their time abroad before Jarrod returns to the pitch. But it didn't take long for Danny to steer the conversation into debauchery following her joyous recount of the honeymoon. 'To be fair, you shouldn't really be getting out of bed a lot on your honeymoon because me and your mother ended up in Florence, and you know, we was appalling!', he quipped. He added to a stunned Dani: 'I mean, honestly, I look back on it and I think, 'f***ing hell! How on Earth did I manage to get in those sorts of positions!' Letting her famous father know exactly what she thought of the confession, Dani told him: 'Oh, you're disgusting!' Still, she was in fits of laughter, with her dad hitting back: 'What do you mean disgusting? There was two people sharing their love. Them days are long gone now!' As expected, Dani and Jarrod's wedding was a lavish affair last month when they said 'I do' in front of their nearest and dearest. Dani looked radiant in a £10,000 gown, with the nuptials taking place at the £500-a-night Langley Hotel in Buckinghamshire. Danny also gave a speech on the day, during which guests were seen spinning napkins above their heads in one bizarre moment. Further details on the contents of his speech haven't been shared, although judging by his podcast anecdotes, maybe that's for the best. Dani met her now-husband in 2021 in a rather unusual manner, as he was her neighbour. They started interacting when he took parcels in for her, which sounds fresh out of a rom-com. More Trending After Jarrod moved out, he sent her a message on her birthday and, from there, they 'never stopped speaking'. Despite now being his wife, though, Dani is keen to keep her roots intact. Ahead of her wedding day, she told Heat: 'I am going to keep the Dyer—I am going to do Dani Dyer-Bowen just because of my work. 'I feel like if I am Dani Bowen, it takes that thing away from me. Despite their seemingly glitzy lives on screen, plenty of UK reality stars have found themselves embarking on romances with criminals with dark pasts, including acid attack crimes and drug dealing charges From TOWIE to Love Island, some of our favourite UK reality stars have fallen for partners with the darkest of criminal pasts. Behind the seemingly glamorous lives of some of these reality TV stars, lies relationships that have turned sour over the years after horrifying crimes and dodgy pasts came to light. On Monday, it was revealed that Ferne McCann's ex-boyfriend and the father of her daughter Sunday, seven, has struck up a romance with ex-Love Islander Amelia Peters. The thug is serving 20 years behind bars after launching an acid attack on 16 people in a nightclub, leaving them with chemical burns. Here, we take a look at some of the reality stars who have been caught dating criminals. Ferne McCann Former TOWIE star Ferne McCann, 34, was left devastated when her partner Arthur Collins, 32, went on the run from police after launching an acid attack in a nightclub while she was pregnant in 2017. Collins was sentenced to 20 years behind bars after police caught him in Northamptonshire, where he fled in the wake of the horrific assault. Ferne dumped him immediately, and gave birth to their daughter Sunday later that year. He injured 22 people when he threw a corrosive substance in Mangle E8 nightclub. He claimed he thought it was a date rape drug at the time, with 16 people suffering serious burns. Now, former Love Islander Amelia Peters has struck up a romance with the criminal behind bars. It's claimed Collins contacted Amelia last October when checking out her Instagram profile. He has sent her bouquets and she regularly visits him in prison, it is said. A source added: "They talk all the time - despite the fact he's in jail. He's got a phone they speak on and he's sent her flowers a number of times." Shaughna Phillips Love Island star Shaughna Phillips recently announced her pregnancy to fans. The star is expecting her second child with Billy Webb, who is still serving time in an open prison. Billy, who is also the father of her first child Lucia, was sentenced to nine years in prison pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply 4.5 kilograms of cocaine worth at least £360,000. He served 12 months. As Billy had day releases from the open prison, TV personality Shaughna has been able to enjoy family days out with him over the last seven months. The 30-year-old star only recently announced her pregnancy via her social media channels on Sunday morning. She exclusively told the Mirror: "We're so happy to announce we are adding to our little family. Lucia is going to be the best big sister and is really excited to have a new baby brother or sister arrive later this year." Lauren Goodger TOWIE original Lauren, 38, began dating Joey Morrison in 2017, while he was serving a 16-year prison sentence. Morrison, 38, was jailed in 2010 for dressing as a postman to burgle properties, after police found him in possession of £60,000 of cocaine and a £90,000 Land Rover. In 2018, shortly before his release from prison, Lauren dumped him, accusing him of sending female "fans" explicit snaps from his grotty jail cell. Gemma Collins Gemma Collins, 44, first dated Stephen Mortimer in 2016. Stephen was jailed for two years in October 2016 for stealing jewellery in a home raid, just months after he had split from the reality TV favourite. He has had a fair few brushes with the law and was famously sent back to jail while Gemma was in Celebrity Big Brother. Stephen had allegedly breached licence terms by moving in with the CBB star at the time. He had previously spent two years in prison for grievous bodily harm (GBH). Amy Childs Another TOWIE favourite Amy Childs, 35, welcomed her first child Polly, eight, with convict Bradley Wright in 2017. Wright is a builder who has a criminal record and has served two stints in jail and time in a Young Offender Institution. He and Amy first struck up a romance back in 2013 but split in 2015. They rekindled their romance in March 2016. Wright was sentenced to 18 months in prison for handling stolen goods in 2014. He already had a criminal record having received a sentence of 16 months at Basildon Crown Court, Essex, in 2013, for three counts of theft. In 2010 he spent 19 months in a Young Offender Institution for burglary, handling stolen goods and driving offences. Amy revealed that she suffered from a breakdown when he went to prison at the time. Dani Dyer Dani Dyer famously dated Sammy Kimmence before her appearance on Love Island, and rekindled their relationship in 2020. The couple have a son together, who was born in 2021. But Dani, 28, was left heartbroken when the former stockbroker was jailed for defrauding £34,000 out of two pensioners. He took money from the two men, aged 81 and 91, claiming he would invest it by placing horse-racing bets. Portsmouth Crown Court heard he instead spent the money paying off his own debts and funding his lifestyle. He was handed a three-and-a-half-year jail sentence in 2021. Dani split from the conman later that year after she claimed he had lied to her about his crimes.
