Aunt who wore floor-length white gown to niece's wedding hits back as she claims critics hate her because she's ‘pretty'
A WEDDING guest has been slammed after people confused her with the bride. The woman, from the US, turned up to her niece's wedding wearing a crystal floor-length white gown and hit back at critics for her inappropriate attire. 2 While many of us know you can't wear white to a wedding, it seemed this aunt didn't get the memo. In a picture shared on the Reddit forum, Wedding Shaming, she stood next to the bride who wore a short white dress on her big day. The aunt posed for a picture wearing the floor-length gown which was finished with a mesh train and she wore pearl jewellery. People were left wondering who the bride was at first, as the aunt's dress looked much more flamboyant than the bride's effortless look. When they realised who was who, people were stunned the aunt would turn up in such an outfit. But the aunt was quick to take to Facebook and hit back at the critics for her lavish dress, implying the haters were just mad because she was pretty Her Facebook post read: "No one hates you more than the women who can't compete with you. "They watch your every move, talk nonstop-because if they talked about themselves, no one would listen. "Let them bark from behind. Real queens don't tear each other mistresses do. Let's shine babe, keep being pretty." Over on Reddit, people were not impressed with her statement. Couple paid thousands of dollars and flew 14 hours for a wedding - until they realized they weren't invited People were quick to claim she had 'no class' and was 'rude' for wearing the bride-like dress. One person wrote: "That's a gorgeous dress but I thought she was the bride." Another commented: "Whyyyyy would anybody wear a dress with a train to someone else's wedding? Incredibly rude." "The train takes away all benefit of the doubt... this lady is showing no class," penned a third. Wedding Guest Outfit Etiquette If you're struggling to decided on a dress to see you through wedding season, here's a few rules on what not to wear so you don't get in trouble. Folklore says that wearing red at a wedding means you slept with the groom. Casual attire like jeans and flip flops should always be avoided. Any colour that could be picked up as white or cream - even if it's not. Most would agree that your cleavage needs to be covered. Wearing white is a massive no-no if you're not the bride. Meanwhile a fourth said: "I think she's intentionally spent more money than the bride too. This seems to be not only upstaging the bride but also 'I've got more money than you paupers.'" "Wait... That's NOT the bride?' claimed a fifth

Would you wear this to a wedding? Bethenny Frankel admits she broke golden rule at BFF's nuptials
Bethenny Frankel has admitted to breaking a cardinal rule of wedding day fashion. The RHONY alum 'just realized' she wore white to her best friend's wedding 30 years ago. A mortified Frankel said her memory was jogged thanks to the controversy surrounding Kylie Jenner, who attended Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos ' wedding in a silver and blue dress that looked white in certain lighting. Bethenny admitted she was unaware of the rule at the time she purchased the dress, as she was scrambling to find an outfit after losing her luggage. Fortunately, her friend was clearly no upset by Bethenny's unfortunate fashion faux pas, and even stood up for her friend in the comments section. 'As the bride, I must add that Bethenny's luggage never arrived, so she had to hunt for a black tie outfit the day of the wedding (in Marbella, no less, which had very few fashion stores at the time). Needless to say in true B 'fashion' she managed to find the most iconic dress and made quite an indelible impression on many men that evening... I was just happy she didn't show up naked!!! :-))'

Kylie Jenner sizzles in busty black bikini the morning after Bezos-Sanchez wedding as her sisters ditch Venice
Kylie Jenner is enjoying Venice after the lavish $50million wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, despite sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian exiting the festivities early. She was spotted on a boat in the famous canals of Venice wearing a black bikini that showed off a lot of her augmented breasts. The Kardashians star, 27, shared a selfie staring soulfully into the camera to her Instagram Stories. She wore her raven hair down and in loose curls around her shoulders and captioned the snap, 'pool day.' Kylie was one of the approximately 200 guests of the wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez and she made a major wedding faux pas with her chosen dress. She wore a figure-hugging, corseted dress that looked very white. The Kylie Cosmetics founder received backlash for wearing a white dress to the wedding. The color is typically reserved for the bride, and guests usually avoid white or any shade that could cause confusion or draw attention away from the bride. Jenner was photographed being helped onto a water taxi as she headed to the ceremony, wearing what appeared to be a white, corseted gown. Upon closer inspection, it turned out the dress was actually blue and silver - but looked white in certain lighting. The plunging ensemble, which left her ample assets on full display, boasted little black bows on the straps. Fans on social media also voiced their concern at the fashion faux pas as one wrote: 'I see a bride.' 'You get the feeling they want to outshine the bride those "Kartrashians,"' one X (formerly Twitter) user wrote. Described as the 'wedding of a century,' the 61-year-old Amazon founder and the former journalist, 55, exchanged vows in front of nearly 200 VIPs on San Giorgio Maggiore island in Venice, Italy, on Friday. Following the intimate ceremony, the billionaire couple hosted a star-studded rave. As the lavish celebration wound down, as Kendall Jenner was spotted departing by boat, set against the backdrop of stunning Italian architecture. Her stylish departure came just hours after photographers captured her sisters, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, making a swift exit from the celebration, boarding a waiting water taxi. 'To be fair the whole debacle is a lesson that proves the old saying "money can't buy you class"' they wrote. 'White should be the last color choice,' another user pointed out. 'Hanging your b**bs out at a wedding is another no, no,' another fan commented about Jenner's plunging neckline. 'These people are such attention seekers - it's quite gross to see the vanity on show.' The Bezos wedding began on Thursday with the first of three days of parties in Venice – but impeccable sources reveal that the Amazon founder and journalist-turned-philanthropist Lauren Sanchez are already married. A source closely connected to the organization of the week's events said: 'They have been married for at least a month, more than a month. 'The marriage is fully legal and took place in America under American law.' The source adds: 'When they were planning the wedding, they were clear about the fact that they were already secretly married There is no application for a wedding license from the couple because it was not required. 'Whatever happens at the wedding on Friday, it will not be a wedding. Under Italian law, it will not be a wedding celebration, any vows said or rings exchanged will have no legal meaning.' The source added that Bezos had personally confirmed that he and Sanchez – who met when both were married to other people – are already legally married, and that they had also signed a pre-nuptial agreement to protect his $244 billion (£177 billion) fortune.
