Victoria Police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at the Cranbourne Training Centre on Tuesday morning. Racing Victoria has confirmed a female stable employee died after she was understood to be kicked by a horse while working in the stables of her employee. RV issued a statement confirming the tragedy at the stable, which has yet to be named. 'It is with great sadness that Racing Victoria confirms that a female stable employee has tragically passed away following an incident at the Cranbourne Training Centre this morning,' the statement read. 'Victoria Police and WorkSafe are on-site investigating the circumstances of the incident in which the stable employee is believed to have been kicked by a horse in the stables of her employer. St. Louis police search for woman in deadly hit-and-run case
ST. LOUIS — Police are searching for a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run. They have released an image of the SUV involved in the collision. A driver going northbound on Pope struck a pedestrian near West Florissant at around 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 20. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Police describe the vehicle involved in the incident as a light-colored Mercury Mountaineer with a Missouri temp tag on the rear of the vehicle. They describe the driver as a black female who is between 20-30 years old, with a heavy build and a mole on the left side of her face. They say she was wearing a bonnet. N.S. police investigating fatal crash in White Rock
An RCMP detachment can be seen in this file photo. (David Prisciak/CTV News) The Nova Scotia RCMP is investigating a fatal car crash that happened in White Rock over the weekend. Officers responded to a reported single-vehicle crash on Ridge Road around 2:20 a.m. on Saturday, according to an RCMP news release. Police found a Kia Rio on fire when they arrived at the scene. A 19-year-old man from Kentville, who is believed to be the driver, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 19-year-old passenger was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Police believe the vehicle left the roadway, hit a pole and landed on its side. The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service is helping with the ongoing investigation. Officials investigating after Smith County hit-and-run leaves bicyclist dead
SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KETK)– Texas Highway Patrol is investigating after a hit-and-run left a bicyclist dead on Thursday in Smith County. According to DPS, during the early morning hours on Highway 64 near Big Oak Bay Road there was a bicyclist that was struck by an unknown vehicle and the vehicle did not stop. The rider was found dead and the department is investigating this case as a fatal hit-and-run.
