Armed robber who tied up wealthy CEO's daughter & her mum in terrifying £220k gunpoint raid ordered to pay back tiny sum

A VIOLENT robber who tied up a wealthy CEO's daughter and her mum in a £220,000 gunpoint raid has been ordered to pay back just £26. Emily Aitchison and her mum Kerry were attacked by the robbers posing as cops at their £2.5million home in Sandbanks. 5 5 Ashley Fulton and henchman Aaron Evans burst into the luxury property and bound Kerry, 55, by her hands and feet. When daughter Emily arrived home, the armed robbers dragged her around by her hair and threatened to burn her with an iron. They also chillingly warned the estate agent they would shoot her in front of Kerry unless she opened the family's safe. But brave Emily refused to comply with the thugs' demands and wrongly entered the code twice. She then caused the intruders to flee after telling them putting it in incorrectly a third time would trigger an alarm. The thugs managed to make off more than £200,000 of luxury watches, designer handbags, jewellery, cash and their mobile phones. But Evans has now been ordered to pay back just £26.66 after splurging most of the cash he made from flogging the stolen loot. Bournemouth Crown Court heard Fulton will have to fork out £4,156 to the traumatised family. The Crown Prosecution Service could revisit the order in the future if the criminals come into any more money. Fulton, 43, was jailed for life with a minimum of nine years and 192 days for robbery, possession of an imitation firearm and a string of fraud offences. Evans, also 43, was handed a 12-year jail term for robbery and possession of an imitation firearm. Bournemouth Crown Court heard the horror unfolded on February 21 last year when the pair broke into the home of Mark Aitchison - CEO of Colten Care, which owns 21 care homes in the south of England. Both Kerry and Emily were locked in the toilet as the thieves ransacked the property before escaping. The bungling criminals left behind a trail of clues that enabled police to catch them. Officers discovered their getaway car, which was caught on CCTV, was registered to Fulton's address. When they searched the vehicle, police found DNA on vapes left inside was a match for DNA found inside the ransacked property. Phone records showed Fulton had Googled the exact rare model of Patek Philippe watch they had stolen just two hours after the raid. He had also made online orders for police ID wallets and lanyards that the pair used to trick their way into the Aitchison house. Emily previously told how she was unable to leave the house for six weeks and cried every day for a month following the horror. 5 5 5

Sudbury armed robbery suspects arrested on northwestern Ont. highway

Two men accused of robbing someone in Greater Sudbury at gunpoint last week were arrested after police in northwestern Ontario spotted the suspect's vehicle on Highway 17. Around 11 a.m. June 13, a man was in his vehicle in the parking lot of a Main Street business in Lively when he was approached by two people, Sudbury police spokesperson Kaitlyn Dunn told in an email. 'One of the individuals entered the community member's vehicle and demanded money while displaying what was described as a firearm,' Dunn said. 'The community member complied and gave the unknown individual an undisclosed amount of cash.' The two suspects fled in a vehicle and the victim was able to give descriptions to the police the next day through the Canadian Police Information Centre. Officers from the Schreiber detachment, east of Thunder Bay, spotted the vehicle on Highway 17 near Schreiber around 5 p.m. on Saturday, Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release. While those officers followed the suspects, other officers from the Nipigon detachment and Anishinabek Police Service set up spike belts to stop the vehicle. 'The vehicle stopped in front of the spike belts and three occupants were arrested without incident,' OPP said. 'Two were held for bail and one released at the request of Greater Sudbury Police Service.' The two men, ages 61 and 37, are charged with robbery with a firearm, occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm and forcible confinement.

Westminster man arrested after robbing woman at gunpoint

A man was arrested for robbing a woman at gunpoint in Westminster earlier this week, police said. The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, when officers were called to the 6500 block of Westminster Boulevard, according to the Westminster Police Department. Upon arrival, they spoke with the female victim, who told them that a man had held her at gunpoint and demanded money. He then fled from the area on foot with more than $3,000 in cash, police said. Investigators were able to retrieve surveillance footage from a nearby business, which showed the suspect, whom they identified as 50-year-old Westminster man Jose Luis Carrillo Gonzales, entering a white pickup truck before fleeing the area. "At approximately 10:00 PM, officers located the unoccupied suspect vehicle in the area of Beach Boulevard and Garden Grove Boulevard," Westminster police said in a news release. "A short time later, Gonzales was observed returning to the vehicle. Officers conducted a traffic stop and detained Gonzales without incident." Officers said that he was in possession of more than $2,000 in cash, and after obtaining a search warrant for his residence, they found "additional evidence believed to have been used in the robbery." Gonzales was booked for robbery and assault with a firearm. Anyone who knows more is asked to contact the Westminster Police Department.

Woman, 8 kids held at gunpoint; RCMP searching for suspect

Manitoba RCMP has issued an arrest warrant after a woman and eight children were held at gunpoint at a home in Black River, Man., last week. The incident took place on the morning of May 23 on Mayaa Road in Black River, which is located about 138 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg. According to police, a woman and eight kids—ages six to 17 years old—were sleeping inside a home when two men kicked in the door and held them at gunpoint. Mounties allege the suspects also assaulted the woman by 'holding her by the neck.' Police said the suspects then went to another home on Mayaa Road, where they kicked in the door and shot twice through a door inside the house. The two men fled in a stolen car, which was later recovered by police. RCMP officers are now looking for Tyson Breland, 36, from Selkirk, Man. Police have issued an unendorsed warrant for his arrest and charged him with several offences, including nine counts of forcible confinement, two counts of breaking and entering a residence, assault by choking, and careless use of a firearm. Police warn that if you see Breland, you should not approach him, as he may be armed. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call RCMP at 204-367-8728 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
