Transit Police said the girl was near the tracks near Atlas Street at around 8 p.m. with a group of friends when she wandered onto the tracks and was hit. She's been identified by her family as Isabella Brady. Brady's friend spoke with WBZ-TV and remembered her as a kind person who always looked out for her. She said Brady was wearing headphones at the time she was hit. "She was like, 'I'm on the train tracks, I'm with my friends.' She said I'll call you after that happened," said Brady's friend. "She never called me back." The Framingham/Worcester Line on the Commuter Rail operates on the train tracks where Brady was struck. The incident is being investigated by Transit Police but they said foul play is not suspected.

Sony WH-1000XM6 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones — Review
Active noise cancellation (ANC), comfort, and sound quality are the core pillars of a competent headset, and Sony seems to have mastered the formula with its WH-1000 series of offerings. From its early days to the more recent WH-1000XM4 and XM5, the persistent fan favourite has never failed to stick the landing…until now. Stepping back into the fold after three years, the arrival of the WH-1000XM6 spells excitement for audio enthusiasts and casual listeners. The pair of headphones is immediately familiar right out of the box, sporting the same premium and fresh look that users have come to love, with a welcome bonus in tow: the return of its signature foldable design, making it more suited for travelling. Weighing in at 254 grams, the XM6 is only slightly heavier than its predecessor (259g), leaving no complaints about its compact build. Other notable features include a new 12-mic setup, a Sony QN3 chip that promises a sevenfold increase in noise-cancelling speed, 30mm drivers, and more. While the headset continues to dominate in the field of active noise cancelling (ANC), its tight clamping force proves to be one of its major missteps, alongside a steep price tag of S$649. This flip-flopping is perhaps the best description of the entire experience — for every strength that it brings, there will also be an accompanying downside. Check out our full review in the video above. Summary The Sony WH-1000XM6 remains the king of the hill when it comes to ANC, but the clamping force and overall comfort make it difficult to justify the hefty price tag. Aesthetics - 7/10 Build Quality - 7/10 Performance - 7/10 Value - 6/10 Geek Satisfaction - 7.5/10 Si Jia is a casual geek at heart – or as casual as someone with Sephiroth's theme on her Spotify playlist can get. A fan of movies, games, and Japanese culture, Si Jia's greatest weakness is the Steam Summer Sale. Or any Steam sale, really. Audio Review Sony Sony WH-1000XM6 Wireless Headset

Nothing's First Stab at Over-Ear Headphones Leak and Look Appropriately Odd
Nothing's first pair of headphones has apparently leaked, and it's nearly impossible to assume they could have been designed by any other company. The over-ear headphones look to have more personality than most popular options on the market, and, well, that's very on-brand of Nothing. The company is good at making statement pieces and has done so with its phones since the beginning. Whether you like the retro-futuristic styling of its products or not is largely a personal preference, but no one can say the brand has an issue with taking a swing with something bold. We already knew that Nothing was up to something in the headphone space, and it's even gone on record to say its upcoming headphones will be "better than the AirPods Max," from Apple. Named the Headphone 1, we expect to see the ear cans officially unveiled on July 1, alongside the Nothing Phone 3. Nothing didn't immediately respond to a request for comment on the leak, but you can check out the video below of the purported upcoming Headphone 1: The cups shown in the Headphone 1 leak have a squarish design that's reminiscent of Apple's offering shape-wise, but that's about it. The translucent backing of the cups shows off some of the internals -- a Nothing signature. Little else can be gleaned from the photos and video, outside of the likely USB-C port. It appears that Nothing's feeling fairly confident in the Headphone 1, but we're still in the dark on official pricing and specs. We're only a week away from finding out, though the peculiar design will be an acquired taste that will more than likely keep them from mass adoption, no matter how well they perform or how much they cost. If you're looking for the best of what's available right now, don't miss our best Over-Ear headphones for 2025.
