The 5 Best Santa Fe Hotels of 2025
There are cities in the U.S. that are wholly, culturally unto themselves. New Orleans is one. New Mexico's creative, historical, mystical capital of Santa Fe—this year's No. 1 city in the U.S. according to voters in our 'World's Best Awards' survey—is another. Standout sites include the galleries of Canyon Road and the Railyard farmers' market, both of which make this adobe oasis a location that simply could not exist anywhere else. Some might say the high desert is an inhospitable climate, but hotels that blend heritage and craft with high-level luxury tend to thrive here. Every year for our World's Best Awards survey, T+L asks readers to weigh in on travel experiences around the globe—to share their opinions on the top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and more. Nearly 180,000 T+L readers completed the 2025 survey. A total of more than 657,000 votes were cast across over 8,700 properties (hotels, cities, cruise lines, etc.). Hotels were classified as either resort hotel, city hotel, inn, or safari lodge based on their location and amenities, and they were specifically rated on the criteria below: Rooms/facilities Location Service Food Value For each characteristic, respondents could choose a rating of excellent, above average, average, below average, or poor. The final scores are averages of these responses. With the exception of the Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe (No. 2)—a 65-room refuge in the forested foothills above downtown, that one reader said is a great spot for hiking—all winning Santa Fe hotels are a quick walk to the Plaza. After falling off the list the past two years, La Fonda on the Plaza (No. 3), deemed 'a real treasure and cultural icon' by one reader, made it back on this year's list. 'Art and history abound within its walls,' one reader noted. 'A few boutique hotels might have these features, but here they are on steroids!' As in 2023 and 2024, the No. 1 spot goes to a sumptuous Relais & Chateaux property covered in patterned textiles, tiled mosaic, and wisteria vines. The Inn of the Five Graces A guest room bathroom at The Inn of The Five Graces in Santa Fe, New Mexico. 'I've never seen anything quite like it before,' said one reader of this intimate, color-saturated sanctuary steps away from San Miguel Church. It's a perennial player in our World's Best Awards—it was even named the No. 1 city hotel in the Continental U.S. in 2019. Ceilings crisscrossed with original wood beams and inlaid with tiles, tiered adobe fireplaces decorated with turquoise pottery, and fabrics in exuberant patterns and hues convey a strong sense of place in the rooms, which readers described as 'unimaginable' and 'a work of art.' Also praised is the 'extraordinary spa,' the location, 'close but not too close' to the Plaza, and 'remarkable private experiences,' like ceramics workshops and meteor shower gazing. 1. The Inn of the Five Graces Reader Score: 94.36 2. Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe Reader Score: 92.91 3. La Fonda on the Plaza Reader Score: 91.22 4. Hotel Santa Fe The Hacienda & Spa Reader Score: 89.87 5. Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi Reader Score: 86.36

Farewell June. Let's solve your final Wordle! How To Solve Today's Wordle The Hint: An ocular movement. The Clue: This Wordle has far more consonants than vowels. Okay, spoilers below! The answer is coming! Today's Wordle Every day I check Wordle Bot to help analyze my guessing game. You can check your Wordles with Wordle Bot right here. STAKE worked out nicely. Sometimes, when you use a less common letter in the opening guess, you really do yourself a big favor. That's why I often use letters like K or B or F, just on the off chance I'll get lucky. Today I did. FLICK slashed the 37 remaining words down to just two, though I only thought of one: BLINK for the win! (The other word, I discovered later, was PLINK. That would have confused me!) Today's Wordle Bot I get 1 point for guessing in three and 1 for beating the Bot. The Bot gets 0 for guessing in four and -1 for losing to me. This brings our final June tally to: Erik: 22 points Wordle Bot: 9 points A triumphant victory for me! June is my month and I wasn't about to let the filthy, vile Wordle Bot beat me this time. Now it's on to July! The word blink comes from Middle Dutch blinken, meaning 'to shine' or 'gleam,' and Middle English blenken, meaning 'to open and close the eyes quickly.' It originally referred to flashing or shimmering light before evolving to mean the rapid closing and opening of the eyes. Duke Energy researchers help launch telescope capturing cosmic images
Duke researchers say they have played a key role in developing a groundbreaking telescope that is now capturing the most detailed images of the universe ever taken. The Vera Rubin Observatory, which is equipped with the largest digital camera ever built, released its first images Monday during a live-streamed event at Wallace Wade Stadium. 'We're going to get this unbelievable map of the sky and how it changes over time,' said Chris Walter from Duke. The telescope, located in Chile's high desert and featuring a 3,200-megapixel camera, is designed to survey the entire sky every three nights over the course of ten years. The telescope will create a comprehensive map of the universe. Duke researchers contributed to designing key components of the telescope's hardware and software, which are used to detect phenomena ranging from dark matter to exploding stars and incoming asteroids. The data collected by the telescope is open-source, making it freely available to scientists, students, and curious stargazers alike. Click here to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps. The Ferrari That Lured Me to the Brink
Last month, while admiring the blurry, roaring scenery of California's high desert in a Ferrari 296 GTS ($500,538, as tested), I happened to glance at the speedometer. Oh sweet Jesus. I hope that's kilometers per hour. Dude, get a hold of yourself, I thought. You've got a family, responsibilities. You can't spend the next month just lounging around the pool at the Riverside County jail. And yet there I was, asking for it.

Today's ‘Wordle' #1445 Hints, Clues And Answer For Tuesday, June 3rd
How to solve today's Wordle. Looking for Monday's Wordle hints, clues and answer? You can find them here: The first Tuesday of June is upon us and apparently I've brought rain back with me from Scotland. It's quite lovely, actually. There's never enough rain in these high desert mountains. I'll take every drop I can get, and so will our poor, dry forests. Rain also means more time to spend indoors solving puzzles! Let's solve today's Wordle, shall we? The Hint: Taking care of business. The Clue: This Wordle begins with a vowel. Okay, spoilers below! The answer is coming! FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder . . . Today's Wordle Every day I check Wordle Bot to help analyze my guessing game. You can check your Wordles with Wordle Bot right here. I almost guessed ELDER as my opening guess today because I was writing about Elden Ring, but then I disliked using two E's and so I came up with a different word that had some similar letters: DEALT. This left me with just 36 remaining words but I chose to try all new letters for my second guess, CHOIR. Two options remained: VAPID or ADMIN. I chose the latter because I was 99% sure VAPID had already been a Wordle. Luckily for me, I was right! Today's Wordle Bot The Bot and I keep trading days. I win, then it wins, then I win. Today I get 1 point for guessing in three and 1 point for beating the Bot. The Bot gets 0 for guessing in four and -1 for losing to me. Our June totals are: Erik: 3 points Wordle Bot: 0 points 'Admin' is a clipped form of 'administrator,' which itself comes from Medieval Latin administrator ('one who manages'), based on Latin administrare ('to manage, attend to'), a compound of ad‑ ('to') + ministrare ('to serve'), from minister ('servant').
