Winnipeg eatery named as one of Canada's top hotel restaurants
A local hotel restaurant has been selected as one of Canada's best.
Last week, OpenTable and KAYAK released a list of the country's top 50 hotel restaurants and the Fort Garry's Oval Room Brasserie made the cut.
The restaurant, run by executive chef Kyle Lew, features a wide selection of dishes, including classic breakfast food like pancakes and eggs benedict, as well as lunch and dinner offerings that include pizza, lobster tail and prime beef tenderloin.
To determine which restaurants made the list, OpenTable and Kayak analyzed more than one million reviews from verified OpenTable users and examined dining metrics from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2025.
Oval Room Brasserie, located in downtown Winnipeg, has a 4.8 rating and 533 reviews on OpenTable.
