Rajan Kabra from Mumbai topped the Chartered Accountancy final examination with 516 out of 600 marks, or 86 per cent, the results of which were announced today, July 6. In the CA Inter exam, Ghaziabad's Disha Ashish Gokhru has secured all India rank 1 with 513 out of 600 or 85.50 per cent marks. Devidan Yash Sandeep from Maharashtra's Aurangabad is the second topper with 503 or 83.83 per cent marks. Two candidates – Yamish Jain from Jaipur and Nilay Dangi from Udaipur – have secured the third rank in the Inter exam with 502 or 83.67 per cent marks. Vrinda Agarwal from Ghaziabad topped the Foundation exam with 362 or 90.5 per cent marks. Yadnesh Rajesh Narkar from Mumbai is the second topper with 359 or 89.75 per cent marks. Shardul Shekhar Vichare from Thane secured the third rank in the CA Foundation exam by scoring 358 or 89.5 per cent marks. ICAI informed that 66,943 candidates appeared for the CA Final exam in group 1, of whom 14,979 passed, and the pass percentage is 22.38 per cent. In group 2, a total of 46,173 students took the CA Final exam and 12,204 passed. The pass percentage in this group is 26.43 per cent. A total of 29,286 candidates took the exam in both groups, of whom 5,490 passed and the pass percentage is 18.75 per cent. In CA Inter, 97,034 students wrote the exam in group 1 and 14, 232 of them passed. The pass percentage is 14.67 per cent. In group 2, 72,069 students appeared, 15,502 passed and the pass percentage is 21.51 per cent. A total of 38,029 students appeared for the Inter exam in both groups, of whom 5,028 or 13.22 per cent passed. For the ICAI CA Foundation May exam, 82,662 candidates appeared and 12,474 of them passed. The pass percentage is 15.09 per cent.

Among those who appeared for both groups, 48,261 students sat for the exam, and 6,781 qualified, reflecting a pass percentage of 14.05%. To qualify for the CA May 2025 exams, candidates must secure at least 40% marks in each paper and obtain a minimum of 50% aggregate in each group. Additionally, those who achieve an overall score of more than 70% will be awarded a special "Pass with Distinction" by ICAI in recognition of their exceptional performance.

In Group II, 46,173 candidates appeared and 12,204 qualified, resulting in a pass percentage of 26.43%. For candidates who appeared in both groups, 29,286 appeared and 5,490 passed, with a pass percentage of 18.75%. Following the declaration of these results, a total of 14,247 candidates have successfully qualified as Chartered Accountants. The CA May 2025 May Inter and Final result statement of marks will be sent by post, within 30 days of the declaration of result. However, in case candidates do not receive the same, for any reason, within 4-5 weeks from the date of declaration of results, they may write to for CA Inter marks statement and dms_examhelpline@ for ICAI Final marks statement. ICAI will issue the CA May Inter and Final 2025 pass certificate to those who pass both the groups of an examination, either together or group wise, within 60 days from the date of declaration of result. However, in case canddiates do not receive the same, for any reason, within eight weeks from the date of declaration of results, they may write to for CA Inter pass certificate and dms_examhelpline@ for CA Final pass certificate. A candidate who passes the CA Inter and Final exam in one sitting, with a minimum of 70 per cent of the total marks for all the papers for that examination shall be considered to have passed the examination with distinction and the pass certificate issued to the candidate will contain a specific mention that the candidate has passed the examination with distinction. There is no concept of 'Improvement' of performance in CA Inter and Final Examinations. Candidates cannot reappear in the group(s) of an exam already passed by him. A candidate who fulfills all the following criteria is issued a CA inter and final May 2025 exam rank certificate, indicating the rank secured by him/her: 1. He should have passed the examination in one sitting; 2. He should not have availed of any earlier exemption in any paper and 3. He should have secured a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate. ICAI CA inter and final rank certificate will be issued up to 50th rank, on all-India basis. Rank certificates will be dispatched to the concerned Regional Offices for further distribution to the candidates, ICAI said. Candidates may apply for verification of their answer books through the Self Service Portal (SSP) within one month from the date of result declaration. The fee is Rs100 per paper, subject to a maximum of Rs 400 for all papers of a group/ both groups/ unit. There is no provision for revaluation of answer books. Candidates can apply for certified copies of their evaluated answer books online through the SSP dashboard within 30 days from the result date. The fee is Rs 500 per paper. Scanned copies of the evaluated answer books will be sent to the candidate's registered email ID in SSP.
