Hamilton man charged with sexual assault of 13-year-old Guelph girl

A Hamilton man is facing charges after police say he engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a 13-year-old girl. According to the Guelph Police Service, the teen began communicating with the 38-year-old through Snapchat in February. 'He began pressuring her for an intimate relationship, despite knowing her age,' they said in a media release. Shortly after they began messaging, police said the man picked up the teen and another young girl and brought them to Hamilton. 'While the three were in a grassy area the man touched the 13-year-old inappropriately,' the release continued. The incident was later reported to Guelph Police. The man was arrested on Thursday and charged with luring a person under 16 years of age, sexual assault, sexual interference and criminal harassment.

Major update on teacher, 34, who had BABY with boy, 13, & was exposed when ‘his dad realised he looked like his child'

A NEW Jersey primary school teacher who gave birth to her 13-year-old student's baby has been charged with sexual abuse. Laura Caron, 34, worked at Middle Township Elementary School before she was accused of engaging in an inappropriate sexual relationship with a student. 5 5 The student was alleged to have been living at her home, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office said. The fifth-grade teacher was caught when the boy's dad made a shocking realisation. When he noticed a striking similarity between his son and the child on Facebook, he alerted authorities. Officials alleged the schoolteacher sexually assaulted her former student between 2016 and 2020, with their child being born in 2019. The two of them met when Caron taught him and his brother at Middle Township Elementary School, the New York Post reported. The teenager's family reportedly had a good relationship with the teacher and allowed their two sons and daughter to spend a couple of nights per week at her house. The trio lived permanently with Caron between 2016 and 2020, sharing a bedroom. It was during that time that Caron allegedly fell pregnant after having 'inappropriate sexual relations' with her former pupil, cops said. The boy's sister said she remembered going to sleep with her brother in the same room - but woke up to find him in Caron's bed, the criminal complaint alleges. She added that the teacher started sleeping with her brother when he was 11 years old. The victim allegedly admitted to his sister in a text that he was the dad of the child and asked her to keep it a secret. Investigators allege that the teen's brother had once seen Caron sexually assaulting his sleeping brother. The alleged victim, who is now between 19 and 20 years old, revealed the sexual relationship with Caron to investigators during an interview and confirmed he is the baby's child. Police arrested Caron at her home in January and charged her with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child. The grand jury's indictment came last week. Caron was charged with aggravated sexual assault, as well as sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland revealed. The charges could carry potential penalties of over 30 years. The prosecutor's office did not say anything about the child in its press releases. Sutherland said: "These allegations are deeply disturbing, particularly given the position of trust the defendant held in relation to the victim. 'Our office remains committed to protecting the most vulnerable members of our community and will continue to aggressively investigate and prosecute those who violate that trust." Caron is being held at the Cape May County Correctional Facility without bond until her first court appearance, court documents show. 5
