Family of 4, including 2 children, killed in North Carolina plane crash
SANFORD, N.C. — A North Carolina family of four, including two school-age children, died when their small plane crashed as they flew back from Florida. The National Transportation Safety Board said an agency investigator was expected Tuesday at the site of the wreckage of Monday's crash, located in a field near some trees northeast of Sanford, North Carolina.

SafeSport paid investigator's way to training, socials despite knowing he had legal problems
DENVER — Less than a week after the U.S. Center for SafeSport learned of allegations against an investigator for theft and harassment, it paid his way to agency headquarters for an all-staff training session that included after-hours socials where the center provided vouchers for drinks. The center would go on to fire the investigator , Jason Krasley, who would be charged on those counts and also later be arrested for sex crimes allegedly committed while he was at his previous job, a vice cop for the Allentown, Pennsylvania., police department.

Deputies search for person of interest in May mass shooting at Macon bar
The Bibb County Sheriff's Office was searching Monday afternoon for a person of interest in the mass shooting at a Macon bar in May. The front, back and side profiles of the person of interest were seen on surveillance footage on Sunday, May 18 – the day of the shooting, at Midtown Daiquiri Bar & Grill, deputies said. The person had dark hair, a red hooded jacket, dark undershirt, and dark pants or shorts, according to surveillance photos from the sheriff's office. The sheriff's office did not immediately respond to The Telegraph's request for more details. Deputies urged anyone with information related to the person's identity to call the sheriff's office and ask to speak with an investigator at 478-751-7500, or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME. Three suspects have been arrested in the shooting, which left three people dead and six injured.
