People behind European research project looking for views from Rutherglen residents
Anyone who has a story about growing up, or living, in the town is invited to take part in an examination of its past, present, and future.
The people behind a European research project are looking for views from Rutherglen residents.
Anyone who has a story about growing up, or living, in the town is invited to take part in an examination of its past, present, and future.
Hannah Spruce said: "I am seeking interview participants who are happy to speak to me for around an hour as part of a European research project called Waste/Land/Futures: Intergenerational Relations in Places of Abandonment and Renewal.
"You can read about the project on our website, where there is also information on the three other countries taking part in the study.
"I'm interested in Rutherglen's industrial past, its present as a deindustrialised town, and your thoughts and hopes for its future and what it will mean for future generations to live in Rutherglen.
"As part of the interview, I will also ask you to share with me meaningful photos or objects that you associate with your experience of Rutherglen and your life here.
