Couple arrested 'for having sex aboard JetBlue flight from Florida to Connecticut as mom and children watched

A Connecticut couple is facing charges after allegedly performing sexual acts aboard a JetBlue flight in front of a horrified mother and her two young children. Trista L. Reilly, 43, and Christopher D. Arnold, 42, of Danbury, were arrested Saturday upon arrival at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport. They have each been charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition, a felony. The disturbing incident unfolded on JetBlue Flight 163 from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York to Sarasota. According to court documents, a flight attendant was alerted by a mother who reported that Reilly and Arnold were engaged in lewd acts in full view of her children. An affidavit states that after being notified, the flight attendant observed Reilly 'making up and down movements with her head while she was facedown on Mr. Arnold's lap'. The mother also provided a witness statement, noting that Reilly appeared to notice her children watching but that the couple 'didn't stop'. Police were called to the scene as soon as the plane landed, and Reilly and Arnold were taken into custody. Both defendants have been released without bail and are scheduled to be arraigned on August 15. Daily Mail has reached out to JetBlue and Sarasota Bradenton International Airport for comment. Arnold owns a carpentry and home remodeling company. The couple appear in Facebook photos together as far back as 2016. Since Reilly and Arnold are both over 18, their alleged offense of lewd or lascivious exhibition in the presence of minors is classified as a second-degree felony. If convicted, the couple could face up to 15 years in prison. Beyond potential incarceration, a conviction for lewd or lascivious exhibition can also carry up to 15 years of sex offender probation, a fine of up to $10,000, and a mandatory lifetime sex offender registration. The would also be ineligible for 'gain time' in prison, meaning they would have to serve the entirety of any prison sentence.

Alternative school teacher arrested on sex solicitation involving minors, battery charges

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — An alternative school teacher has been arrested on charges related to battery and soliciting lewd and lascivious acts from minors. Audley Hewitt, 61, who was named 2022 IR Prep Teacher of the Year, was arrested just before noon July 17, law enforcement and school district records show. His full charges include soliciting a sexual battery act by a custodian with a victim under 18; battery touch or strike; unlawful use of a two-way communication device, according to Indian River County Sheriff's Office records. Arrest records show he was arrested at his residence west of Vero Beach in the 6400 block of 26th Street at 11:51 a.m. A student reported Hewitt's alleged actions saying he was "engaged in inappropriate relationships" and "soliciting a student," according to an Indian River County Sheriff's Office news release. A School District of Indian River County spokesperson provided a statement acknowledging the arrest and 'allegations involving a teacher at IR Prep,' and that both referred to Hewitt. The allegations in the student's report occurred from Jan. 22 through March, Capt. Joe Abollo said. He said the district notified law enforcement of the student's report at a later date. It's unclear at what point between March and the date of Hewitt's arrest the school notified the agency of the matter. 'As soon as the matter was brought to the District's attention, appropriate steps were immediately taken,' district spokesperson Kyra Schafte said in an emailed statement. 'The District conducted an internal investigation and, consistent with its obligations, promptly reported the matter to the Department of Children and Families and to the Indian River County Sheriff's Office.' Superintendent David Moore approved a measure to speed up Hewitt's termination of employment. IR Prep at 1426 18th Street is a secondary school for students in grades six through12. Hewitt was not found among an online list of faculty, however, an Oct. 11, 2022 Facebook picture and caption depicts the school's principal, Dariyall Brown, posing with Hewitt who was awarded as that year's 'Teacher of the Year.' Indiana couple caught committing obscene acts on one another while in audience of school dance recital

An Indiana couple were caught with their hands down each other's pants at a dance recital as members of the audience looked on in disgust, police said. Carly Ann Dominski, 44, and Steven Ulman, 49, were arrested on Saturday following the sickening incident inside the Lake Central High School Auditorium in St. John near the Illinois border. Staff members approached an officer from the St. John Police Department and told the cop that the couple were performing 'lewd acts' on one other during a large dance recital inside the auditorium, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by the Daily Mail. The officer said he saw Dominski with her hand down Ulman's pants and could 'physical see' that she was 'fondling Ulman's genitals.' The affidavit also stated that Ulman's left hand was down the front of Dominski's pants and that he was fondling her, noting that her pants were unbuttoned. There were several small children in the area as kids performed at the recital, and many in the crowd had turned to look at the appalling display. After being asked to leave the auditorium by the officer, the pair quickly left their seats and were seen buttoning their pants, the affidavit added. The two then fled to the parking lot and into their vehicle before officers moved in to stop them from leaving, the affidavit said. Officers said Dominski originally gave her name as Jessica Ulman, but after a search of her purse they found a Illinois license with her actual name. After a pat-down of Ulman, officers found a bottle of clear liquid that Dominski said was lube. It was later discovered that Dominski had outstanding warrants for identity deception, unlawful possession of a syringe, false informing, paraphernalia possession and theft. She was hit with charges of public indecency and false reporting, as well as the outstanding warrants. Ulman is facing a charge of public indecency. The two appeared in Lake Superior Court on Monday for their first appearance. A hearing in Ulman's case has been scheduled for next month. In the state of Indiana public decency is considered a Class A misdemeanor that can carry jail time of up to one year and a fine of up to $5,000. The incident happened inside Lake Central High School in St. John, Indiana, on Saturday According to social media accounts, Ulman and Dominski have been together since 2013. In 2016, the New Lenox Police Department in Illinois said Dominski was found slumped over the wheel of her car with her then 3-year-old in the backseat. It was later determined she had been using methamphetamine and heroin, with paraphernalia found inside the vehicle, police told Patch.

Drummer of rock band faces new charges in child pornography case

The former drummer of Canadian indie rock band The New Pornographers has been hit with more disturbing allegations in a child pornography case. Joe Seiders, 44, was arrested in April after he was accused of recording an 11-year-old boy using the bathroom in a Chick-fil-A restaurant in California. Now, two more minors have come forward and accused Seiders of more unsettling accusations. The drummer has been additionally charged with committing lewd acts with a minor by force or fear, using or coercing a minor to produce child pornography, possession of child pornography, annoying/molesting a child, and invasion of privacy. On Monday April 7, Seiders was accused of recording the young boy with his cell phone while he used the restroom of the Palm Desert Chick-fil-A. Then two days later, the Palm Desert Sheriff's Station received a second report at the same restaurant of a man following young boys in and out of the bathroom. When deputies arrived they found Seiders and he was arrested. After serving search warrants, the Sheriff's Office linked Seiders to both incidents alongside additional crimes, including child pornography. 'Evidence was located implicating him in the two reported incidents, along with additional crimes, including possessing child pornography,' the news release read. The New Pornographers has yet to address the new allegations against the drummer. Following Seiders's initial charges making headlines, his bandmates released a joint statement and said they have cut ties with the drummer. They wrote: 'Everyone in the band is absolutely shocked, horrified, and devastated by the news of the charges against Joe Seiders - and we have immediately severed all ties with him. Our hearts go out to everyone who has been impacted by his actions.' Seiders has been a part of the Canadian indie rock band since 2014. The group was first formed in 1997, and the current members are Neko Case, Carl Newman, John Collins, Todd Fancey, and Kathryn Calder. Their former members include Destroyer frontman Dan Bejar and Grammy nominee Kurt Dahle. The New Pornographers performed at Coachella in 2007 and 2011. When their longtime drummer Dahle left in 2014, he was replaced by Seiders. He toured with the band and performed on their three most recent studio albums.
