e-Trade Portal System (PTS) launched at Khoms Port
The Tripoli based Libyan Ministry of Economy and Trade announced last Friday (18 July) that it launched the e-Trade Portal System (PTS) at Khoms Port, to simplify the procedures of the logistics sector and improve shipping services. The system allows ship arrival notifications and shipping data to be sent electronically to the Maritime Inspection Office, as part of a plan to digitize procedures in cooperation with the Libya Trade Network, the Ports Authority, and the Libyan Ports Company. A technical office affiliated with the network was also opened within the port to monitor the system's implementation and remove obstacles facing importers and exporters, in implementation of the regulatory regulations approved by Cabinet Resolution No. 637 of 2024. . The Libyan Export Promotion Centre (LEPC) announced several Libyan olive producers had won top prizes in 2025 international olive oil competitions. Three Libyan companies win awards in Athens International Olive Oil Competition
Three Libyan companies won awards at the Athens International Olive Oil Competition , the Libyan Export Promotion Centre (LEPC) announced yesterday. ''Once again, Libyan olive oil is in the advanced ranks in the world in terms of quality in the Athens International Competition for the year 2025'' the LEPC said.
