Your daily horoscope: June 25, 2025

Not only is there a new moon on your birthday this year but other influences suggest now is the time to make some serious personal and professional adjustments. Don't aim to change things around the edges – it's time for a full-on lifestyle reset. If a family relationship has gone off course a bit in recent weeks then today's new moon will help get it back on track. In the greater scheme of things it's really not such a big deal, so don't get too emotional about it. You may not be the most flexible sign of the zodiac but even you can see that some major changes are needed and that if you don't make them now you may not get another chance. Don't just adapt to survive – adapt to thrive! The more you feel that your actions have been restricted in recent weeks the more today's new moon will clear the way to get things done. Don't let a lack of ready cash hold you back – the universe will provide you with everything you need. A new moon in your sign makes this the day when you really can change your life in radical ways, so don't limit yourself to minor adjustments here and there, raise your sights and aim for the stars. Fame and fortune are yours for the asking. It's not in your nature to get emotional about things but lately there have been signs that your tough exterior is beginning to crack. If something happens today that brings tears to your eyes you must let them flow – because they will be tears of joy. Your ideas are as good as other people's ideas, if not better, so let the world know what you are planning and then go all out to turn those big ideas into stunning realities. If you can think it you can do it – it's really that simple. If you need to deal with employers and people in positions of authority you could not pick a better day to approach them. You will give off just the right vibes to impress them and before you know it you will be at the top table too. You may be cautious by nature but with so much activity in the most adventurous area of your chart it would be a crime of cosmic proportions not to take a risk or two. Don't hesitate for a moment – think and act fast over the next 24 hours. You may not be able to choose what you have to do today but you can certainly choose to make the best possible job of it. No matter how boring the task in front of you may be, aim to approach it in an enthusiastic frame of mind. If you go out of your way to let others know how much you care for them today they will go out of their way to care for you long into the future. Don't hold back in your affections – shower them with love every chance you get. This may be a hectic phase for you but you can still find time to help friends and colleagues with work-related tasks. Your skill at getting to the bottom of a problem will save them money and effort and they will appreciate it immensely. If you strive to look on the bright side of each and every situation you encounter today you will realize that the world is still a wonderful place. Actually, it has always been a wonderful place but sometimes that fact is easily overlooked. Discover more about yourself at

I lost more than 6st with my ‘Nozempic' diet after a humiliating night drinking with my boss

HEADING to bars five days a week led to Debbie Lurvey to pile on the pounds. She knew she had to make a change after an incident at her manager's home left her feeling "horrified". 5 5 Debbie 55, weighed more than 17 stone at her heaviest. Her frequent bar visits would see her consume large portions of bar food like nachos and hamburgers, as well as alcoholic beverages. But her wake up call came in March 2019 after getting drunk at her manager's house and blacking out. After waking up there feeling "embarrassed and mortified", she embarked on a weight loss journey which would see her lose more than six stone. Debbie got sober and joined a course - No BS Weightloss - after seeing a Facebook advertisement and overhauled her diet. Today, she wears a size four and weighs approximately 10.5 stone — an incredible 100-pound loss achieved over two years. Debbie, a life coach from Lake Havasu City, said: "I had so many moments that should have been a wakeup call to me, waking up with black eyes and everything. "But something about my children being disappointed in me wanted me to change," she said. "I didn't want to lose my relationship with my children. "Now I feel content," she added. "I feel loved and grateful." Debbie said she has tried "every gimmick in the book" to try and lose weight. I lost half a stone eating cold chips The morning after blacking out at her manager's house, she discovered her relationship with one daughter was strained following a feeling of "disgust" from her, having already lost connection with another daughter due to her drinking. Now, she's back in touch with all of her children. "I walked into a client's office and said, 'I need help,'" Debbie recalled. "Then I did a Facebook Live video and told everyone I needed help." That same day, she attended her first recovery meeting, marking the beginning of her sobriety journey. Diet overhaul Debbie says she already started changing her eating habits, noting she lost 25lbs before she stopped drinking. Now, she eats mindfully, focusing on protein, vegetables, and moderate portions. She said: "If I was hungry, I ate. If I was satisfied, not full, I stopped eating. "During that time I learned so much not just about what my body needs, but what my mind needs. "I learned that I could think new thoughts and I could learn to like myself." Her transformation inspired her husband Kevin, a retired deliver driver, also in Lake Havasu City, to quit drinking and lose four stone after witnessing her success. The transformation that she made was from simple little things. No rocket science behind it Kevin Lurvey Debbie has two biological daughters from a previous marriage, ages 25 and 34, and one 25-year-old stepdaughter with Kevin. "It's been completely amazing," Kevin said of his wife's change. "The transformation that she made was from simple little things. No rocket science behind it. He added: "She's an amazing woman. She has peace now." "Following in her steps and listening and seeing how she did things, it rubbed off on me." Today, Debbie co-hosts a podcast called 'April and Debbie Dish: The Truth on Weight Loss,' where she shares her experiences to inspire others. 5 5 5 "Don't look at 'I have a hundred pounds to lose' or 'I want to be a year without alcohol,'" she explained. "Look at the first pound, the first day and believe that you can do that one step." "You haven't failed until you quit," Debbie added. "Don't quit." "Understanding why you want to lose weight is important." Debbie now works as a life coach with an advanced certification in weight loss, helping others achieve what once seemed impossible to her. Despite being about 10 pounds above her goal weight, she maintains a healthy perspective. "I don't consider it a regain," she explained. "It's just an awareness that I need to listen to my body better. It is not a failure."

Kaitlyn Jorgensen used to eat junk food seven days a week and never exercise

A woman who ballooned to 20st from eating fast food seven days a week has revealed how she achieved the figure of her dreams - but sacrificed friendships in the process. Kaitlyn Jorgensen, from Washington, had struggled with her weight from a young age but things came to a head when she tipped the scales at 280 pounds (20 stone) at just 22 years old. The mother-of-one was a secret eater who would go to the drive-thru and polish off a large take out meal, ensuring to throw away all of her rubbish before going home and tucking into a second dinner with her family. Refusing to exercise and struggling to walk for even a mile on the treadmill, Kaitlyn began her weight loss journey - which included changing her habits and undergoing an operation - in 2020, which has seen her shed more than eight stone. And while she's happier than ever in her figure, Kaitlyn revealed she has lost friends in the process, who didn't understand her choice to have an operation. Kaitlyn, now 29, first decided to set herself a goal of two years in which to lose weight naturally by making better lifestyle choices. She told MailOnline: 'I hated physical exercise because I couldn't move my body. The first time I went to the gym I said "I'm going to get on the treadmill and walk a mile". I couldn't walk that mile. I had to stop five times to catch my breath, it was hard on my body and I was thinking that this wasn't the life I wanted to live. 'I had underlying health issues, I was pre-diabetic, my bones hurt, my knees and my back because of the physical weight I had on myself.' The student managed to lose a whopping 40 pounds through lifestyle changes alone by the time she was 24. Before, Kaitlyn wouldn't typically eat breakfast, instead opting for a sugary, calorific caramel Frappuccino from Starbucks, which contains a whopping 54g sugar. If she did opt for a meal first thing in the morning it would be something like stuffed French toast topped with syrup. She visited fast food outlets almost every single day; with her favourite spots being McDonald's and Arby's. Although her unhealthy habits were hard to break, Kaitlyn decided to start off slow by weaning herself off ultra-processed foods. She said: 'I was a secret eater, I would go to the drive thru and get a Big Mac meal with extra fries and five chicken nuggets. This sounds crazy saying it out loud. 'I would hide that before I got home because I didn't want the judgement of me eating and then having another dinner with my family. Food was food and I was going to eat anything.' After transforming her lifestyle and now seeing food as 'fuel', Kaitlyn revealed she now has a completely different attitude towards eating. 'I knew that eating fast food seven days a week wouldn't cut it anymore. I started with going to the gym twice a week and cut down eating out to three times a week.' Previously, she had struggled to stick to a diet after having moments of weakness when she tried to cut everything out at once. But this time, she took a different approach - slowly increasing her exercise and cutting down the number of takeaways she was eating. In time, she established an entirely new routine. Kaitlyn goes to the gym four times a week and eats a high protein diet with tons of fruits and vegetables (pictured now) 'I now look at exercise as a stress reliever, not a chore,' she added. 'It's going to suck in the moment but I'm going to feel so much better later on.' In 2022, after two years of eating more healthily and steadily shaving inches off her figure, Kaitlyn's weight had plateaued at around 240 pounds - leading her to take more drastic measures. She opted for a vertical sleeve gastrectomy weight loss operation - costing a whopping $28,000. The procedure saw medics cut away 80 per cent of Kaitlyn's stomach, which significantly reduced her appetite. Despite the staggering price tag of the surgery, Kaitlyn was able to use her health insurance to cover her medical costs. Before long, she had dropped down to just 160lbs, meaning she had lost a total of 120lbs - more than eight stone - since starting her journey. However, it hasn't always been easy, as she was left feeling judged and alienated by her friends for having the operation done. 'I did get judged a lot, I lost friends over it, people couldn't understand why I wanted to get weight loss surgery and it's because I knew I needed that tool to help me,' she said. 'I do get looked at a lot differently now. When people see pictures of me back then they think it's photo shopped and I say "No that is me!"' Now Kaitlyn has continued to maintain her athletic figure by watching what she eats and exercising on a daily basis. For breakfast, she will usually have avocado on toast with an egg and a sausage. She will also snack on beef sticks, fruits, yogurts and smoothies rather than opting for ultra-sugary beverages. For dinner, Kaitlyn - who now hits the gym four times a week - will typically have chicken and vegetables with a dessert as she admitted to having a 'sweet tooth'. 'I had so much sugar before surgery it actually blows my mind that I ate that much,' she added. After having the VSG surgery, doctors told her that her fertility would skyrocket, but Kaitlyn said she didn't want to go on hormonal contraception because she wanted her body to adjust naturally. Three months after having the operation, Kaitlyn found out she was pregnant with a little girl and was overjoyed by the news. She said: 'I have my daughter now so I have the family that I always wanted and I don't think she would be here if I didn't have my surgery and I'm able to keep up with her. 'My husband is very proud of me. We were together before I had my surgery so he has seen me feel really bad [about myself] and he's seen the confidence just come to me [afterwards].' Kaitlyn says it makes her feel 'really emotional' that she can now run around with her daughter - something she would have never been able to do before.

Brit celebs who quit UK for off-grid lives abroad…from soap actress who runs Thai ‘drug bar' to star who lives in a TENT

THEY had it all - fame, fortune and adoring fans. But instead of basking in the spotlight, these British stars packed it all in and bid the UK adieu. 20 20 20 This week fans were left in awe when Noel Edmonds made his big return to showbiz after years away. The last time many saw him was on I'm A Celebrity in 2018, where he was the first star to be booted out of the camp. Now he's back with a brand new ITV show set to focus on his life in New Zealand. The 76-year-old moved there with his wife Liz in 2015. Speaking to The Sun about his triumphant return, he said: "People still ask, 'Noel Edmonds? Didn't he die? Is he still around?' Yes, I'm still here - and living life to the full." On his quiet life away from his TV and radio days, he added: "We have a beautiful home, and in the morning, we wake up to a view of the mountains. "The scenery here is magical. Even after six years, we'll go for a drive and still say: 'Wow'." But he's not the only one to quit fame for a dramatic lifestyle change. From the silver screen to sun-drenched solitude, a string of celebs have turned their backs on showbiz to embrace quiet, off-grid lives elsewhere. Whether it's swapping red carpets for rural cabins or luxury mansions for life among the locals, these former household names are proving there's life after the limelight. Tent life From 2006 to 2019, Jason Gardiner was known as the acid-tongued judge on Dancing On Ice who was not afraid to speak his mind. He infamously left his judging role in the wake of his clash with former contestant Gemma Collins, who he once compared to a "refrigerator". At the time, he said: "I went through some very dark times after it all played out and I realised I wasn't valued in any way, shape or form by ITV." 20 20 20 Jason, 53, then quit the UK for a life in Portugal, where he studied a biodiversity and sustainability course and began calling himself a 'Nomadic Permaculture Designer'. Speaking to the Mirror, he explained how he travelled to different homes to teach families how to be more eco-conscious. He also opened up about how he was happy to leave the glitz and glamour of his former life behind and live in a tent. "I have gone on many adventures, met the most amazing people and acquired the most amazing qualification," he said. "I have found a new life that isn't about the toxic environment of the TV industry. "My tenure on Dancing on Ice was always marred with controversy and lots of issues, but the problem is, I didn't realise how toxic it was until I left. "It took me a while to decompress from it, I'll be honest." Italian job 20 20 When it comes to glamorous showbiz careers, very few can compare to Kelly Brook 's time in the spotlight. From red carpets to TV and radio shows, the 45-year-old was one of the most in-demand women in the industry. However, in 2022, Kelly married longtime beau Jeremy Parisi and partially retreated from life in the limelight. After selling her £1.45million Kent home, she spoke about leaving the UK to enjoy their married life in Italy, her husband's home country. Discussing their "simplified lives" last year, Kelly, who still maintains her home in London, said: "He's got a little farmhouse in Italy that is in need of renovation. "It's an olive oil farm, so we will be getting involved and pressing olives and learning how to cook pizza. I'm learning Italian. "You get to meet the family, and there's some very colourful characters in there." 'High life' 20 20 After a stint on Emmerdale as Ali Spencer from 2011 to 2015, Kelli Hollis' character was killed off-screen in 2018. But the real shock came last year when fans learned about her surprising career change. She is now living in Thailand with her partner, Matt Dawson, where she runs her own cannabis bar - with no plans of coming back to the UK. Speaking about her new enterprise, she said: "I actually don't like the feeling [of being stoned]. "But to be honest, I have become a little partial to the edibles here, obviously, because I have to test the products. "But that is not to be stoned. I promote ours for rest and for aches and pains for people who don't want to smoke, so I will have mine before bed." I actually don't like the feeling [of being stoned] But to be honest, I have become a little partial to the edibles here, obviously, because I have to test the products Kelli Hollis On TikTok Kelli, 48, proudly shows off her business venture to her 270,000 followers. The bar flogs cannabis and marijuana products and boasts of also selling hash, joints and brownies. In 2023, she posted on TikTok, celebrating one year in Thailand with the caption: "Came for 4 months, now run a weed bar." Speaking about the move in an interview, Kelli said: "We'd been to Pattaya a few times on a holiday, we did a bit of island hopping and in June they legalised marijuana and we found this really cute little shop and got really good friends with the owner and decided to basically set up our own weed shop." She added: "I'll be honest, I've smoked weed since I was about 15, but I'm not a hard-core weed smoker. "I can't do full joints and edibles and all that, so it probably bodes well, or I'd probably smoke all the profits. "It's definitely not something I envisaged, but we've definitely made the right choice." S Club Prepper 20 20 20 Last month former S Club 7 star Hannah Spearritt went public with her new life as a "survivalist and prepper" in the Costa Rican jungle. She relocated to the central American country with partner Adam Thomas and their daughters, aged three and five, back in January to start afresh after quitting the UK, having fallen in love with it during a trip in 2018. She'd previously admitted it was her dream to move there and buy some land or a farm and live "the simple life" with her kids. In her Instagram image caption she describes herself as: "Prepper, survivalist and creator now living the uninhibited jungle life." LA to Uruguay 20 20 20 In 2023, British actress Rhona Mitra, 48, opened up about how she quit Hollywood to settle into a quiet life in Uruguay. The star, who grew up in West London, moved to the States after finding success in the American market. She was the first ever live-action Lara Croft in 1997, and also appeared in films such as Sweet Home Alabama and TV shows including Boston Legal. On Channel 5 's Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild in 2023, she explained how she bought a 400-acre farm in Uruguay after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in 2012. After a two-year recovery period, where she stayed in a cabin, Rhona said she knew she couldn't go back to her Hollywood lifestyle. In the South American country, she built a home with horse manure, where she lives alone and carries out her passion of rescuing horses and other animals in poor condition. Explaining the loneliness it brings, she said: "It'd be easier if there were someone to share the burden with. "I think it's the thing that a lot of people say they want to be part of this life, but I'm not going to give this up. "There is no backtracking, I have to move forward and have somebody that wants to move forward with this life." But Rhona also spoke about some of the difficulties she has faced, including being threatened by her neighbours. "I basically had to babysit the farm and watch it almost 24/7" she said. "I was so exposed and vulnerable in my first years. "I had people cut fences and let their cows in, intimidating me by coming [on her land] and hunting, it felt like bullying." She added: "It's very unusual for a single girl to move to this part of Campo by herself and with no partner, no husband, that's really strange." Off-grid school 20 20 From chart-topping teen to school founder, Charlotte Church, 39, is now teaching kids how to grow veg, care about nature, and be proud of who they are. The former Voice of an Angel star has swapped the stage for the schoolyard, setting up her own eco-friendly education centre in the annex of her house. Back in 2019, Charlotte vowed she'd "work night and day" to create a new kind of school in South Wales - and she's stuck to her word. The result is The Arwen Project, a rural retreat-style set-up where kids learn permaculture, organic gardening, land management and even how to connect with nature. She spent up to seven years researching education before launching the venture, saying the current school system was doing more harm than good. "The more I speak to young people and teachers, the more I think the system… is starting to become actively damaging," she wrote in a blog. "A lot of people leave school thinking they're not good enough, not smart, not capable – and that's heartbreaking." In her school, pupils learn outdoors whenever they can, make their own rules and focus on real-world issues that matter to them. During an LGBTQ+ week, the kids were treated to a talk from drag queen Le Gateau Chocolat, who taught them about allyship and the power of knowing when to "pass the mic." "Especially as white privileged people, we need to know when to step back," Charlotte told the New Statesman. 20 20
