Return of Beloved Starbucks Item Sparks Speculation About New Drink
Get ready, Starbucks fans, the return of a beloved syrup is leading to speculation that a new drink could be coming, too. Earlier this month, Starbucks revealed that the popular raspberry syrup is making its return for a limited time in July. Starbucks discontinued the popular flavored syrup back in 2023, much to the chagrin of its fans. "Starbucks will also be bringing back raspberry syrup for a very limited time this July to delight fans, and the company plans to bring more flavor drops in the future," the company said in a June 11 release. In the wake of the return of raspberry syrup, there is also speculation that a new Raspberry Cream Cold Brew drink may be accompanying it, according to blogger Markie Devo, who cites Starbucks employees. "Speculation has it that Starbucks will drop a new Raspberry Cream Cold Brew alongside the returning syrup," he wrote. "Starbucks has confirmed the syrup returning, employees confirmed the rest." Devo has offered a possible release date of July 24 for rewards members only, and then July 29 nationwide. However, it's important to note that the syrup and the possible new drink will come in a "very limited supply." "Sadly only for a short time," Devo added. "I'm told a number of cases per store, but don't want to make anyone upset yet." Again, Starbucks has confirmed the syrup is returning, but it hasn't said anything about the new drink. Popular Fast Food Chain Adds Cheesesteak to Menu for Limited Time
If you're looking for a new cheesesteak sandwich to try, a popular fast food chain has you covered. Arby's has announced that starting on June 23, the fast food restaurant will be offering an Angus Cheesesteak at participating locations for a limited time. "Dream a little higher up the meat chain. Something like a quarter pound of shaved Angus steak covered in the luckiest American cheese alive," Arby's writes on its official website. The new cheesesteak features a quarter pound of shaved Angus beef and includes white American cheese, savory garlic spread and peppers and onions, all of which comes on a sub roll. Prices may vary, but a quick search reveals the sandwich is $7.99 a la carte, and $12.79 in a meal that includes fries and a drink. The sandwich itself is 620 calories, and when you factor in the fries and drink in a meal, the total is about 1,270. Of course, calorie count could vary depending on what side and drink you choose. This isn't the first time Arby's has offered a cheesesteak. The fast food chain has had at least two other iterations of the popular sandwich, with a Three Cheese Steak Sandwich and an Ultimate Angus Philly in previous years. Make sure to get to Arby's soon if you're interested, because the sandwich won't be around forever.
