Newmont CFO Karyn Ovelmen resigns

(Reuters) -Gold miner Newmont Corp said on Monday its CFO Karyn Ovelmen has resigned and named insider Peter Wexler as interim CFO until a permanent successor is selected. Ovelmen's departure comes a little over two years into her job. The company said Ovelmen's resignation was not due to any disagreement on any matter relating to its operations, financial statements or accounting policies. Vale lowers forecast for 2025 iron ore agglomerates output

SAO PAULO (Reuters) -Brazilian miner Vale on Wednesday lowered its forecast for iron ore agglomerates production in 2025 to a range between 31 million and 35 million metric tons, from a previous estimate of 38 million to 42 million tons.
