General Hospital Spoilers Preview July 2: Tension Rises in Port Charles as Enemies Circle Sonny
The next General Hospital spoilers video for Wednesday, July 2, 2025, shows Tracy realizing she was right while Josslyn vents her anger about Sonny, and Marco searches for answers. Tracy (Jane Elliot) emphatically tells Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), 'I am so not happy about being right!' They probably got wind of what happened at Charlie's Pub and Tracy's railing against Sonny (Maurice Benard) again. Tracy needs to choose whether she wants to destroy Sonny or Drew (Cameron Mathison). READ THIS: Has Sidwell declared war on Sonny? Anna (Finola Hughes) looks at security footage, and Chase (Josh Swickard) asks, 'Anything useful?' So far, everyone who has targeted Sonny had ties to the intelligence community, but Molotov cocktails through a window seem a little amateurish. If it were intelligence, perhaps the perpetrator did that to throw the authorities off. Near what's left of Charlie's Pub, a heated Josslyn (Eden McCoy) tells Vaughn (Bryce Durfee), 'Sonny Corinthos brings death wherever he goes!' Why is she continually surprised when mob violence happens? Sonny's a gangster. She should know this by now. Perhaps her and Vaughn's spy skills will uncover a clue where the Keystone Cops PCPD failed. READ THIS: Is Vaughn destined to be Josslyn's new love? Marco (Adrian Anchondo) says to Lucas (Van Hansis), 'I'm almost positive that is not the full story.' He's definitely going to want answers about why his mom died, and will likely hold Sonny responsible. But if Marco's not careful, he could end up on Sonny's bad side. READ THIS: Find out about Tracy's ominous observation. Speaking of Marco, Sonny tells Jason (Steve Burton), 'If Marco ends up collateral damage…so be it.' The weekly teasers state that Sonny vows revenge. However, Lucas is going to be devastated if Marco ends up sleeping with the fishes. Sonny would never go after an enemy's kids, but if they were in the wrong place at the wrong time, oh well.

Toll in lynching of Nigeria wedding guests rises to 12
JOS: The number of people killed after a mob stormed a bus carrying Muslim wedding guests in central Nigeria's volatile Plateau state has risen to 12, according to the Nigerian presidency. The dead include the groom's father and brother, it said. President Bola Tinubu has condemned the killings, the latest attack to hit the region where tensions are high after a series of bloody attacks in recent days, with ethnic Fulani nomadic Muslim herders suspected of killing dozens of people in Plateau's Mangu local government area. Police, survivors and local organizations said around 30 people on a bus to a wedding lost their way, stopped to ask for directions, and were accosted by an irate mob. They were attacked with sticks, machetes and stones and their bus set ablaze, a survivor told AFP. Initially authorities had confirmed eight dead with four reported missing. Tinubu described the lynching 'as unacceptable and barbaric,' said a statement from his office which said the dead included the groom's father and brother. The Nigerian leader ordered the arrest and punishment of the culprits as he urged the Plateau state government to 'take decisive action in handling these vicious cycles of violence.' Fulani herders in the state have long clashed with settled farmers, many of whom are Christian, over access to land and resources. Police say they have arrested 22 suspects in connection with the attack.

Investigation continues after group creates chaos in downtown LA after rooftop event
The investigation continues after a large mob wreaked havoc in downtown Los Angeles over the weekend, vandalizing several businesses, Metro trains and even an LAPD vehicle. It all happened early Sunday morning, when officers broke up a rooftop party being held at Trinity Street and Washington Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. It was billed online as a "renegade hardcore punk show," something that the city called an un-permitted party, which eventually attracted more than a thousand people. After the crowd dispersed from the venue, they then went on to create different bits of chaos in the surrounding area, including fire breathing, spray painting and hurling fireworks and beer cans towards police who had arrived to the area in riot gear. Eventually police declared the incident unlawful assembly and witnesses say they fired multiple rubber bullets to warn the crowd. Videos filled social media showing the wild series of events, that last for nearly three hours before the crowd finally left. Before then, people could be seen tagging the inside and outside of two Metro trains, an LAPD patrol car and other buildings, including the walls surrounding an elementary school. They gained so much traction that Mayor Karen Bass took notice. "What happened last night was egregious, completely unacceptable," she said on Monday. She's hoping that the ongoing investigation will reveal why no arrests were made on the spot. No civilian injuries were reported in connection with the incident, but one officer was hospitalized after getting hit int he face with a bottle. No arrests have yet been announced.
