Graham Hoffman memorial ride raises $65,000 for scholarship fund
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Hundreds of motorcyclists took to the streets of Kansas City on Saturday, and the event raised a whopping $65,000 for the Graham Hoffman Memorial Scholarship. On July 12, Outlaw Harley Davidson and Worth Harley Davidson hosted the inaugural Hoffman Memorial Ride—honoring the life, legacy and sacrifice of KCFD firefighter/paramedic Graham Hoffman who lost his life in the line-of-duty on April 27. Hundreds of bikers ride in memory of Graham Hoffman Saturday Dylan Worth and Carson Orlando of the dealerships, with the assistance of the staff and volunteers of HeroFundUSA, coordinated the event – with 400 motorcycles and 550 riders participating in the charity ride. Officers from several metro police departments escorted the ride from Outlaw Harley Davidson in Blue Springs past Hoffman's home station – KCFD Station 42 – all the way to Worth Harley Davidson in the Northland. HeroFundUSA said the event raised $65,000 that will go toward its Graham Hoffman Memorial Scholarship Fund. Northern Ont. bikers smash $14K target in leukemia awareness ride
Sudbury motorcyclists completed a 1,000-mile charity ride over the weekend, raising more than $19,000 - surpassing their $14,000 goal - for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Organized by Dave Beauparlant, the riders made the gruelling trek from Sudbury to Thunder Bay and back to Sault Ste. Marie. The group says they will continue to accept donations until October.

Drivers warned of charity motorbike convoy
Drivers are being advised to allow more time for journeys when a convoy of about 3,500 motorcyclists takes to the roads in Shropshire. The Bike4Life Ride Out and Festival, attended by former World Superbike champion Carl Fogarty, will see riders travelling on a 25-mile route starting from Meole Brace, Shrewsbury, at 10:30 BST on Sunday. They will follow the A5, M54 and A41 to the event's home at Weston Park to raise money for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and there will be traffic restrictions from 10:20 for up to two hours. National Highways said it advised anyone due to travel through the area to avoid the times of the ride out if possible or set off early and allow extra time. There will be traffic restrictions at Meole Brace roundabout if travelling from Sainsbury's. All eastbound movements will be stopped at A5 Dobbies, A5 Emstrey and A5 Preston Boats roundabouts. There will also be closures of the eastbound entry slip roads on the M54 at junctions 7, 6, 5 and 4 and no traffic movements other than the motorcycles at junction 3 and the A41 northbound as far as the junction with Offoxey Road until the ride out clears. The convoy will be led by a National Highways traffic officer vehicle and junctions will be reopened as soon as the convoy has passed. Attendees will also include former professional motorcycle racer in the British Superbike and World Superbike championships James Whitham and Happy Mondays dancer and DJ Bez. National Highways senior network planner David Patmore said so many bikes heading down the motorway and into the festival "is quite the sight and one we are happy to support as we see the vital work Midlands Air Ambulance Charity does". Newtownards: Peter Kelly dies in single vehicle crash
A man has died after the scrambler bike he was riding crashed in Newtownards, County Kelly, who was 34, was killed in the single-vehicle collision which happened at about 19:25 BST on Monday on the Comber Kelly, who was from the Newtownards area, died as a result of his injuries, police Comber Road was closed after the crash but has now reopened. Police appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage to come is the second death on the roads in the area in recent Sunday, motorcyclist Philip McClelland was riding a bike that crashed on the Portaferry Road in the McClelland, who was 36 and from Newtownards, died at the scene.
