EXCLUSIVE Rock legend is unrecognizable as he enjoys a rare outing in LA... can you guess who it is?

A rock legend was seen embarking on a rare excursion in Los Angeles last week while enjoying the hot summer weather. The star is known as the lead vocalist for an iconic hard rock band that jumped to fame in the 70s and 80s. In 1985, the performer decided to focus on a solo career and temporarily left the group - and has released six studio albums on his own. The music artist reached a milestone when he was officially inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. He is also set to kick off a summer tour later this month which will come to an end in mid-September. But can you guess who it is? The star is known as the lead vocalist for an iconic hard rock band that jumped to fame in the 70s and 80s - who is he? It is David Lee Roth, 70 - the former lead vocalist of the hard rock band Van Halen, which has dropped hits such as Jump and Why Can't This Be Love. The star was seen on an errand run last week on Thursday while sporting a pair of dark brown overalls as well as a jacket layered on top. He added a black shirt underneath and slipped into a pair of brown boots to complete the overall outfit. Roth additionally wore a light green cap on top of his head and loosely tied a colorful handkerchief around his neck. David was born on October 1954 in the city of Bloomington, Indiana - but later moved to Pasadena, California with his family when he was a teenager. In his later teen years, the star had begun to follow his passion for performing on stage with solo gigs and was also in a band at the time called Red Ball Jets. While attending Pasadena City College, Roth first crossed paths with brothers and fellow musicians Eddie and Alex Van Halen. The siblings were part of their own band called Mammoth - which David eventually became the lead singer for. The group was officially formed in 1973 under the changed name of Van Halen. The star was seen on an errand run last week on Thursday while sporting a pair of dark brown overalls as well as a jacket layered on top The star was seen stepping out of a sleek black SUV as he enjoyed his solo outing in Los Angeles During a past interview with Howard Stern, Roth opened up about choosing the name Van Halen - and also revealed that another potential name had been Rat Salad, per American Songwriter. 'Let's make something that's going to have some longevity to it, that has a little bit of shadow, and a little mystery,' he had expressed to the group at the time. 'You're not sure what a Van Halen is. It's like Santana. That could be the name of a place, it could be the name of a person.' The original members of the rock band had included David, drummer Alex Van Halen, guitarist Eddie Van Halen and bassist Michael Anthony. In 1978, the group released its debut studio album Van Halen which landed the number 19 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. The following year, their second LP Van Halen II was dropped and contained other hits such as Dance The Night Away. The band continued to create albums over the next four years including Women And Children First (1980), Fair Warning (1981), Diver Down (1982) and 1984 (1984). 1984 was a critical and commercial success for Van Halen, and the LP peaked at the number two spot on the billboard 200 - where it stayed for five weeks. Some tracks on the album included Jump, Panama and Hot For Teacher. The next year, Roth left the band following creative differences with other members and wanting to pursue a solo career. His debut solo studio album Eat 'Em And Smile was released in 1986 - and was a success for Roth. When he left Van Halen, Sammy Hagar replaced Roth as the lead vocalist for the band. But in 2007, Roth reunited with Van Halen for a tour which came to an end the following year and reportedly raked in $93 million. Eddie's son Wolfgang Van Halen had also been a part of the performances. In 2012, the band later went on tour once again which was called A Different Kind Of Truth Tour - and was also in support of the group's LP of the same name. Roth previously revealed that his favorite album that the band released was the first LP that dropped in 1978. 'That's the one that came "no mind"; it happened because we played for years in the clubs and the bars. That's where you really sharpen that without thinking,' David explained, per Far Out Magazine. 'You know, you're playing to make the mortgage, the rent for the apartment, so to speak. When you go into the studio, it is so completely familiar.' He continued, 'You're, what's the term in theatre? You're "off-book." You are so "off-book" that you know it better than your home phone number.' The singer later added, 'When you are so "off-book," it means you don't have to read the script. You know every syllable, and you don't think about it at all. 'Your mind is somewhere else entirely, "no mind." You become the studio, and you play the music. Your whole mind is on where the music is going to be, where it's going to sound, etc...' Eddie Van Halen - the band's original guitarist - passed away in 2020 following a battle with cancer. At the time, his son Wolfgang said in a tweet: 'I can't believe I'm having to write this but my father, Edward Lodewijk Van Halen, has lost his long and arduous battle with cancer this morning. 'He was the best father I could ever ask for. Every moment I've shared with him on and off stage was a heart is broken and I don't think I will ever fully recover from this loss.' Roth also paid tribute to the late Eddie Van Halen by penning, 'What a Long Great Trip It's Been..' KISS member Gene Simmons also shared, 'My heart is broken. Eddie was not only a Guitar God, but a genuinely beautiful soul. Rest in peace, Eddie!' Back in 2021, Roth announced his retirement - but revealed this year that he is going on a summer tour beginning on July 22 in Paso Robles, California. He shared the dates to his Instagram page back in May - and will take to the stage in other cities throughout the U.S. such as Tampa, Atlantic City, Kansas City and San Diego. The concerts will officially conclude on September 14 in Napa, California.

Valeriya Force Brings Tropical Passion With Her New Hit 'Thunder'

Tropical heat, Latin rhythm, and summer vibes. 'Thunder' by Valeriya Force is an English-language track made for movement and emotion. Out July 11. 'This song is for every woman who's ever danced in the rain and felt like she owned the sky.'— Valeriya Force HOLLYWOOD, FL, UNITED STATES, June 28, 2025 / / -- Valeriya Force to Release Summer Single 'Thunder' — A Dance of Passion and Power in the Florida Rain July 11, 2025 marks the release of a brand-new single from Valeriya Force — 'Thunder', a bold summer track infused with heat, sensuality, and feminine power. Blending Latin rhythms, tropical atmosphere, and emotional intensity, this record is a pulse of movement and liberation. The track is now available for pre-save: Born on the Road, in a Thunderstorm The song was born unexpectedly — during a drive from Miami to Sarasota. Rain poured outside, thunder cracked the skies, and suddenly a melody sparked in Valeriya's mind. That raw, vivid moment in the middle of the storm and highway became the creative ignition of 'Thunder.' A track built entirely on instinct, body, and freedom. What the Song Speaks 'Thunder' is a story of a woman who is no longer afraid. She doesn't perform or play nice. She moves with the rhythm of summer, owns her body, knows her desires, and doesn't apologize for her strength or sexuality. It's not a tale of surrender — it's a declaration: 'I am the thunder.' It is passion without drama. Power without aggression. Dance not for attention but for release. Her desire isn't vulnerability — it's her fire. She moves boldly, loves fiercely, and lives on her terms. Music That Feels Like Heat 'Thunder' is a vibrant fusion of Latin Pop, Dance, and Tropical Groove. The sound captures the post-rain heat of Miami — electric air, bodies in motion, skin sizzling, every beat syncing with the heartbeat. This track is crafted to be felt, not just heard. It doesn't play in the background — it takes over the moment. Behind the Sound: Production and Team 'Thunder' is the product of a creative partnership. Valeriya wrote the lyrics and melody, driven by pure intuition. The arrangement was created by Ukrainian producer Vlad Ustinov, delivering a rich, Latin-flavored atmosphere. Vocal recording was done in a home studio, with support from her husband Vladyslav Tkachenko, who coordinated the production process. Mixing and mastering were completed by Nikita Chena, known for his deep, textured audio work. Vladyslav Tkachenko also leads the business strategy of FORCEMUSIC INC, the independent label behind the release. He handles marketing, rollout, and vision. Valeriya Force is the creative powerhouse — not only the voice but the artistic mind behind the melody, mood, and emotion. This is not just collaboration — it's partnership. Vladyslav finds the sound. Valeriya feels and writes it. Together, they turn tracks into cinematic experiences. Why You Should Hear 'Thunder' This single is dropping at the peak of summer, right in Florida's rainy season. It sounds exactly like July in the tropics: hot, wet, sensual, and alive. This is music for nights alone, for rooftop parties, for dancing barefoot in your kitchen. For claiming your body. For expressing who you are without filters. For turning up the volume and letting go. Country music star breaks rib after ‘hard fall' in Mexico, postpones show

Kacey Musgraves' recent onstage tumble resulted in her postponing her show — and breaking a rib. The country music star slipped on wet tile while she was performing in Mexico last week. "Sooo I'm in Mexico with a (expletive) broken rib,' Musgraves wrote in an X post Friday, June 20. 'Wednesday night it was raining and I was running to grab some towels and had an extremely hard fall on some very slick tile I didn't see. Thankful I didn't smack my head but I landed very very hard on my back left ribcage, and I broke number 6,' the singer wrote, alongside a screenshot of her x-ray. 'This (expletive) is no joke. I'm in a lot of pain and doing ANYTHING is extremely difficult but I'm managing and being well taken care of.' The fall meant Musgraves had to skip her show at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, which was scheduled for the following Sunday, June 22. 'I am extremely bummed to have to reschedule as I have been looking forward to this for months but there is literally no other option,' the singer wrote. 'I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.' Tickets for the June 22 show will be valid for the rescheduled date, which is Sept. 18. Musgraves has several more shows scheduled throughout the summer and fall. With new album out soon, country star has already ‘got ideas' for next one

Cole Swindell will release his newest album later this month and the chart-topping country music star is already starting to think of material for his next project. 'We had room on this album for some love songs, but no dad songs or baby songs,' the 41-year-old, who will welcome his first daughter with his wife, Courtney Little, in August, told MassLive. 'I can already tell you I've got ideas in my phone ready to write those, and I feel pretty confident the next project will definitely have some songs about my little girl and just being a dad,' Swindell said. 'The pressure of writing my wedding song was a lot, but writing a song for my little girl is going to be next level.' When Swindell isn't singing or writing songs, he is usually playing golf just outside his Nashville home. The musician recognizes that once his daughter arrives, he may be spending more time in the nursery than on the course. But before Swindell trades in his golf clubs for baby bottles, the singer will celebrate the release of his fifth album 'Spanish Moss' on Friday, June 27. The album's release date coincides with a stretch of summer shows, including one at Indian Ranch in Webster on Sunday, June 15. After returning from Cody Johnson's Australian and New Zealand shows in March, Swindell is ready to 'kick off the summer in one of my favorite areas in the country.' 'I definitely love Mass. I just love the area,' Swindell said, adding the energy he gets from the state's crowds is 'just unmatched every time.' 'Mass. has always been good to me, so it's going to be cool to play some of these songs for the first time up there,' he said. A Georgia native, Swindell burst onto the country music scene with his 2013 multi-platinum song 'Chillin It.' The hit single topped the U.S. Country Songs chart before Swindell's platinum-certified, self-titled debut album arrived in February 2014. The singer saw further success with the hits 'Ain't Worth The Whiskey' and 'Let Me See Ya Girl,' which charted at No. 1 and No. 2 on the U.S Country Airplay Chart, respectively. Swindell rounded out a whirlwind of a year when he won the ACM New Artist of the Year Award in April 2015. As Swindell's career progressed, he tapped into his songwriter abilities by crafting more emotional ballads such as 'You Should Be Here,' 'Middle of a Memory' and 'Break Up In The End.' The tracks — all of which charted and were certified at least double platinum — appeared on Swindell's second and third albums, 'You Should Be Here' and 'All of It,' respectively. 'As a songwriter, this is kind of how I get to tell my story and things I've been through or going through, or whatever that may be,' Swindell said of his deeper cuts. 'For a guy like me that puts my feelings on paper and out to the world, I just think there's going to be a lot of people out there that are going to already know exactly how it feels.' By April 2022, Swindell had released his fourth album, 'Stereotype.' The project contained the powerhouse hit 'Never Say Never' with Lainey Wilson and the Top 40 smash 'She Had Me At Heads Carolina.' The track won Swindell three ACM Awards in 2023 and remained in the Top 5 at country radio for 23 consecutive weeks. Overall, Swindell has racked up 13 No. 1 singles as an artist and 14 as a songwriter in the 11 years since his debut on Warner Music Nashville. He returned with the heartfelt 'Forever To Me' in April 2024, which served as the lead single for 'Spanish Moss.' In addition to 'Forever To Me,' Swindell has already released seven racks from the upcoming project, including the title track, 'Bottom of It,' 'Dirty Dancing,' 'Kill A Prayer,' 'One Day' and 'We Can Always Move On.' The latter, which is actually Swindell's wife's favorite on the album, is about taking advantage of the time couples have together before calling it quits. 'I just thought the angle of that was unique,' Swindell said. 'It definitely, I think, grabs you at the very beginning and doesn't let you go. It's a jam for sure and I hope it's a lot of people's favorite song this summer.' With 21 tracks, 'Spanish Moss' is Swindell's longest project to date. The album is mostly inspired by Swindell getting engaged and marrying his wife over the past two years. The couple formally announced in March that they were expecting their first child. All these life happenings brought the musician back to crafting emotional songs that make up a majority of the tracks on 'Spanish Moss,' even those inspired by less joyous times. '[While] I'm in this season of my life — one year married, a kid on the way — that doesn't erase the fact of my past and the tough things I've been through whether it's relationship-wise or whatever,' Swindell said. 'To be able to sing about where I'm right now and kind of where I've been, I think is what's important about this album and I think it's going to be something that people can relate to.' Swindell is mostly excited to play these songs — new and old — live given all he has been through recently. He is especially looking forward to performing in front of crowds who are 'passionate about everything in life,' specifically those in Massachusetts. 'If I'm going to be anywhere playing a show, I'm excited that it's up there,' Swindell said. Once he wraps up his summer shows, Swindell will officially embark on his 'Happy Hour Sad Tour' on Sept. 4. The tour will include 20 shows and feature supporting acts Priscilla Block, Logan Crosby and Greylan James. Tickets for the tour can be found on Swindell's website.
