Legendary Singer, 76, Joins Fellow Rock Legend on Surprising Cover Song
Legendary Singer, 76, Joins Fellow Rock Legend on Surprising Cover Song originally appeared on Parade. In the hallowed halls of rock and roll, there are no voices quite like that of Robert Plant. As the lead singer of Led Zeppelin, Plant became known for his extravagant wails, dramatic delivery of intricately constructed verses and a charismatic stage presence that generations of singers have imitated and rarely duplicated. While Plant is no stranger to collaborations—he frequently works with country artist Alison Krauss—it's still something special to get the man who sang 'Immigrant Song,' 'Whole Lotta Love,' and 'Kashmir' to lend his voice to your track. Although it might help if you're Paul Weller, the guitarist and vocalist for the legendary punk band The Jam. Weller, 67, will release Find El Dorado on July 25 via Parlophone Records, an album containing 15 covers of his favorite songs. On July 3, Weller released his version of 'Clive's Song.' Scottish folk singer Hamish Imlach originally performed the song on his 1971 album, Old Rarity, per Ultimate Classic Rock. Clive Palmer of the Incredible String Band wrote it for Imlach, and Robert Plant has cited the Incredible String Band as an influence. It might be surprising to hear Plant, a legend of hard rock, sing on something so acoustic and bluesy. But, according to UCR, Weller invited Plant to join him on the song because of Robert's love of folk and blues music. The song marks Plant's first appearance on a song since 2021. He reunited with Krauss for her album, Raise the Roof. Plant will resume his 2025 European tour with his band, Saving Grace, which includes three weeks in France, Italy and Spain. Led Zeppelin came together in 1968, after former Yardbirds member Jimmy Page recruited Plant as the singer for the new group. However, according to Ian Anderson, Plant came close to replacing him in Jethro Tull. "You know I remember at the time, 'wait a minute, there's something else going on here,'' said Anderson when recounting how Plant sorta 'auditioned' for the Singer, 76, Joins Fellow Rock Legend on Surprising Cover Song first appeared on Parade on Jul 3, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jul 3, 2025, where it first appeared. Pop Queens, Unite! Madonna's Outfit Pays Tribute to Britney Spears
Paging pop royalty! When it comes to epic dance bops, Madonna and Britney Spears are the undisputed queen and princess of pop. Over the years, the two iconic singers have even collaborated to give us many more glorious pop culture moments. (Siri, play 'Me Against the Music.') Their love and support for one another—whether producing joint hits, or giving unforgettable live performances together—has been well-documented. So, it was only natural that Madonna would continue to proudly proclaim her love of Britney in the year 2025. Yesterday, Madonna was spotted at JFK Airport in New York wearing an outfit that paid homage to the pop star. For starters, she wore the limited-edition Balenciaga x Britney Spears tee that was released last month, designed in collaboration with Spears herself (It retails for $1,050 and even features her signature on the back.) Her head-to-toe denim styling was also very Y2K Britney—lest we forget the time at the 2001 AMAs when she wore a full-on jean gown. Madonna in 2000 It's not the first time Madonna has used her outfit to pay tribute to America's sweetheart, either. Back in 2000, she stepped out wearing a customized, rhinestoned Britney Spears tee to a party in New York City. (She has also performed in a black version of the same merch.) And the love is reciprocal: Britney has been spotted many a time wearing Madonna merch, too. Simply put, they are our favorite enduring pop-royalty friendship. The only thing better than their coordinated fashion fits? If they so happened to release another single together. One can dream.

Stevie Nicks Collab Confirmed By Rock Trio Haim
Stevie Nicks is officially working on a song with Haim. The Fleetwood Mac legend's rumored musical collaboration with singing sisters Alana, Este, and Danielle Haim was confirmed when the rock trio appeared on Watch What Happens Live on June 24. After a fan called in to ask what Haim could share about possibly working with Nicks, Alana replied, 'We can't say much, but what we can say is that Stevie Nicks is the greatest human being on this planet.' Her sister Danielle added, 'And the song is really good.' Host Andy Cohen then asked if the mysterious song appears on Haim's newly released fourth album, I Quit. 'It is not [on the album],' Alana said. 'It's for something.' After Este Haim chimed in to say,'Sorry to be so cryptic,' Cohen asked if the new music was for a movie and joked, 'The Smurfs movie?' Nicks previously teased a collaboration with the Los Angeles rock trio, although she gave no hints as to when and where it would appear. In an interview with GQ, the 77-year-old songstress gushed about the sisters' music and how much it reminded her of the early days with her own California rock band. 'It starts with Danielle's voice – it is just stunning,' Nicks told the outlet of Haim's music. 'She's the first part of the puzzle, but then the percussion that Este and Alana wrap around her turn all of their songs into percussive masterpieces.' 'They could certainly all have been in Fleetwood Mac,' Nicks added. 'Someday, when you tumble into this song [I'm working on with them], you will understand everything I have just told you.'Stevie Nicks Collab Confirmed By Rock Trio Haim first appeared on Men's Journal on Jun 25, 2025

Rare Footage of Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash Recording Duet in 1969 Has Fans Reeling
Rare Footage of Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash Recording Duet in 1969 Has Fans Reeling originally appeared on Parade. When it comes to iconic musical partnerships, it doesn't get much better than Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash. Not only did the legendary musicians have a decades-long friendship — they started out as pen pals — Dylan and Cash collaborated multiple times, a fact some fans are just learning now. In 1969, Cash joined Dylan in the recording studio during his Nashville Skyline sessions on a number of tracks, though only one — "Girl From the North Country" — would go on to be included on the album, as ScreenRant reported. Years later, Dylan would release the remaining tunes on 2019's The Bootleg Series Vol. 15: Travelin' Thru, 1967-1969, including a version of "One Too Many Mornings" (from Dylan's 1964 album The Times They Are a-Changin'). After a clip of Dylan and Cash recording "One Too Many Mornings" resurfaced this week on Instagram, fans were quick to express their amazement. "Never heard Dylan sing like that. Wild footage," one person wrote, with a second saying, "I wish I could have been there." "MAGIC," declared someone else, as another declared, "This a banger if you know you know." Later that year, Dylan and Cash were reunited when the former made an appearance on The Johnny Cash Show, where he sang "I Threw It All Away" and the pair reprised their "Girl From the North Country" duet. Following Cash's death in 2003, Dylan paid tribute to his friend and creative partner in a eulogy for Rolling Stone. 'I think we can have recollections of him, but we can't define him any more than we can define a fountain of truth, light and beauty," he wrote, adding, 'If we want to know what it means to be mortal, we need look no further than the man in black."Rare Footage of Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash Recording Duet in 1969 Has Fans Reeling first appeared on Parade on Jul 4, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jul 4, 2025, where it first appeared.

Barbra Streisand Says Collab With Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande ‘Felt Inevitable'
Barbra Streisand has dropped a behind-the-scenes video highlighting her recent collaboration with Ariana Grande and Mariah Carey on the stirring track 'One Heart, One Voice.' The song appears on Streisand's newly released album The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two, out now via Columbia Records. More from Billboard Kelsea Ballerini Expands 2025 Australian Tour With New Dates Bob Vylan and Kneecap's Glastonbury Sets Under U.K. Police Investigation Jason Aldean Extends Full Throttle Tour to Australia and New Zealand for 2026 Streisand took to Instagram to reflect on the collaboration's emotional core, writing, 'When the idea of recording a song with Mariah and Ariana was first suggested, it felt inevitable that it would speak to female empowerment.' 'The lyrics 'we've got every right to make a choice' resonated with me. The song became a vehicle for three strong-willed women to join in voice and purpose. Thank you to both @mariahcarey and @arianagrande for lending their talent and sharing this special moment with me.' In the video, the legendary EGOT winner reflects on the team-up, saying, 'When the idea of recording a song with Mariah and Ariana was first suggested, it felt inevitable that it would address female empowerment,' Streisand shares. For Carey, who has often cited Streisand as a personal inspiration, the experience was both surreal and emotional. 'Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved Barbra,' Carey says. 'So when I got a chance to work with her on 'One Heart, One Voice,' it was a huge honor.' Grande, who grew up idolizing both Carey and Streisand, called the moment 'a dream come true.' She adds, 'Barbra has, quite literally, always been a part of my life. I went to go see Barbra with my mom, and we made it into the concert DVD somehow! We've come a long way from being in the audience to collaborating on the album.' The soaring ballad sees all three artists trading lines and harmonizing on a message of unity, resilience, and generational strength. The release marks a major moment for fans of powerhouse vocals and pop history alike, pairing three of the most influential and technically gifted singers of the last six decades. The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two is a follow-up to Streisand's 2014 Partners album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and featured duets with Stevie Wonder, John Legend, and Blake Shelton. The new collection continues that legacy, featuring collaborations with Paul McCartney, Josh Groban, Hozier, Laufey, and more. Streisand, one of the most decorated artists in entertainment history, has notched 11 No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 (the most among women) and earned 10 Grammy wins, along with two Oscars, five Emmys, and countless other honors. Her duet partners on the track are no strangers to accolades either: Carey holds the record for the most No. 1 singles by a solo artist in Billboard Hot 100 history (19), while Grande boasts six No. 1 hits and remains one of the most streamed artists globally. 'One Heart, One Voice' marks the first time all three artists have appeared together on a single track.
