Inteam's 25th anniversary concert sells out in an hour, fans beg for second show
KUALA LUMPUR, June 14 — Tickets for Inteam's 'Kasih Kekasih 25 Tahun' concert, set to take place at IdeaLive Arena in Petaling Jaya on Sept 28, sold out within an hour of going on sale online at noon today. The overwhelming response is clear proof that the nasyid group — comprising Mohd Syahril Abdul Khalid, Hazamin Harun, Hisyam Ahmad and Abdul Rahim Osman — still holds a special place in the hearts of fans. Speaking to Bernama, Hazamin expressed gratitude that the group, now in its 25th year in the local music scene, continues to receive strong support from fans. 'We're deeply touched and thankful that even after 25 years, Inteam still enjoys overwhelming support. We didn't expect to draw the support of our longtime fans. And at the same time, many from Gen Z were also competing for tickets to our concert. 'The response was tremendous, with traffic on the ticketing site surpassing 80,000 visitors at one time (during peak hours). Some even used up to 10 devices and bot systems just to secure a spot at the concert,' he said, apologising to fans who were unable to purchase tickets. When asked about the possibility of having an additional concert date or alternatives for fans who missed out, he said the group is currently exploring several options, including adding another concert day or streaming a recording of the show online. Earlier, the group — known for hits such as 'Kasih Kekasih' and 'Nur Kasih' — announced via their official Instagram page that tickets for the Inteam concert had sold out in just one hour. Instagram user @ was among those who managed to secure a ticket to the concert. 'Alhamdulillah, managed to purchase four tickets — my hands are still shaking in disbelief. Best birthday gift ever,' she wrote. Others like @fadhrosli, @namekusuhailie_, @adeeepshinoda and @syznazahari were not as lucky and urged Inteam to hold a second concert after losing out in the ticket rush. — Bernama

Australian hip hop group Hilltop Hoods make a huge comeback as they announce first new album in six years
Hilltop Hoods are making a huge comeback. The legendary Australian hip hop group have announced they will be releasing their first new album in six years. The Aussie rap stars shared the exciting news to social media on Wednesday, revealing Fall From The Light will be released on August 1. 'This album has been an exercise in patience. Six years is a long time between albums, but there's a good reason for that,' they wrote. They added the long wait allowed the group to produce some of the best work of their career. 'There was a lot happening, in the world and in our lives. But it turns out (from my perspective anyway), that time was the album's strength, not weakness,' they said. 'We've never been so thorough, so pedantic with an album before. The result is something that's been carefully crafted with an extreme attention to detail. Hilltop Hoods have release nine studio albums since forming in Adelaide in 1994. In 2019, the band revealed they simply couldn't afford to take their show overseas despite their massive success Down Under. Member Matt Lambert told The Daily Telegraph of their elaborate Australian stage age: 'What we put on here is so big now.' 'If we took the big show overseas we would have to sell all of our houses to be able to afford it,' he added. Lambert, also known as MC Suffa, added that the group's mainstream fame had taken them from outsiders to contenders. 'We definitely don't feel as much of an outsider as we used to,' he told the paper of being a rare Aussie hip hop act. 'We used to feel almost like some kind of novelty.' The group is made up of founding members MC Suffa (Lambert) and MC Pressure (Daniel Smith) and is backed up by DJ Debris (Barry Francis). Their prior studio album, 2014's Walking Under Stars, hit number one in Australia and was certified double platinum. In February 2019, the group supported Eminem on his Australian and New Zealand concert tour. The hip-hop group has won eight ARIA Awards and are regarded as Australia's most successful homegrown hip hop act.

Blackpink's ‘Deadline' tour to hit Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium in January
K-pop girl group Blackpink will perform two shows at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium in January next year. It seems to mark the end of the group's 'Deadline' world tour. The superstars last performed in the city in 2023 for three sold-out shows at AsiaWorld-Expo. According to details released by K-pop agency YG Entertainment on Tuesday, the world tour will kick off in July in Goyang, South Korea, and is scheduled to conclude with the two shows in Hong Kong on January 24 and 25.

It's the second offering from More, the English group's first new album in 24 years, out on June 6th. With dramatic strings, disco-lite backing vocals, and a snare-heavy drum beat courtesy of Nick Banks, 'Got to Have Love' is Pulp's passionate argument for loving ourselves and one another. 'When love disappears, life disappears,' mutters Jarvis Cocker in earnest as the song's patient bridge unfolds, eventually building to some cathartic instructions about acknowledging our implicit need for love. Well, I'll spell it for you…,' Cocker says before spelling out 'L-O-V-E.' The genuine emphasis on love and its transformative power is purposeful for Cocker and co. 'Love is a word I was unable to say until I was approaching 40,' Cocker wrote in a press release. 'I listened to love songs all the time but couldn't use the word in real life. The words to this song are me having a word with myself about this state of affairs. I gave myself a real talking-to. I have now learnt how to say it whilst keeping a straight face. You've got to have love. Oh yes you have.' To help drive home the utopian potential of that oh-so-important L-word, Pulp have paired 'Got to Have Love' with a powerful music video exhibiting footage from a 1977 Wigan Casino documentary. Throughout, dancers surrender to the moment, show off their best moves, and bask in the freeing power of dance. 'Wouldn't you love to be able to dance like this?' the video asks. 'Guess what? You can. Try it. Right now.' It's a pretty convincing sentiment. Watch the video below. 'Got to Have Love' follows April's 'Spike Island,' Pulp's first new song in 12 years and the lead single off More. The new album, which serves as their first without founding bassist Steve Mackey after he passed away in 2023, arrives on June 6th via Rough Trade. Pre-orders are ongoing. The band will support More with a major slate of 2025 tour dates, including a North American trek and a pair of co-headlining dates with LCD Soundsystem.
