Michael Jackson was over $US500 million ($A768 million) in debt at the time of his death in 2009. Since his untimely passing, the singer's wealth has amassed to a staggering $US2 billion ($A3.07 billion), thanks to merchandising, music royalties, and 'MJ: The Musical,' a stage adaptation of his life. According to Parade, Jackson is the highest-earning dead celebrity on the planet. The pop star's will stipulated 40 per cent of his estate went to his mother, Katherine Jackson, while 20 per cent went to charity. The remaining 40 per cent was divided among his three children Prince, Paris, and Bigi. They each receive annual allowances of around $US8 million ($A12.5 million). Last year, Jackson kids' fortune skyrocketed when Sony Music Group paid $US600 million ($A920 million) for half of their father's music catalogue. The deal was the biggest ever for the work of a single musician. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Prince, Paris and Bigi are worth $US150 million ($A228 million) each. Michael Joseph 'Prince' Jackson Jr. The 'Thriller' hit maker had his first child on February 13, 1997 with his second wife, Debbie Rowe. Named Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, he was called Prince after the singer's grandfather, Prince Albert Scruse. Following in his father's footsteps, Prince initially pursued a career in the entertainment industry. In 2013, Prince landed a gig as a guest correspondent on 'Entertainment Tonight'. Later that year, he made his acting debut with a cameo in '90210'. His stint in the spotlight came to an end. In an interview with 'Today', Prince admitted showbiz wasn't for him, saying: 'I didn't get that gene'. In 2019, Prince graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. While studying at university, Prince co-founded the charity Heal Los Angeles with a friend. Heal aims to combat child hunger, homelessness and abuse. The organisation has numerous high-profile ambassadors, including Prince's aunt LaToya Jackson. According to US Weekly, Jackson's firstborn 'loves riding motorcycles and his charity work'. Insiders told the Daily Mail 'Prince is pretty much living life like a rich LA trust fund kid – but is not one of those obnoxious LA 20-something guys who act like their money buys them anything'. Prince and his siblings grew up at Neverland Ranch. After their father's death, the kids went to live with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson. Their cousin, TJ Jackson, later took over as guardian of the children amid a family financial dispute. Prince now lives in a luxe pad in the Rancho Palos Verdes area of California. Dozens, maybe.' After her father's death, Paris went through several very public struggles. The actress told Rolling Stone in 2015 she attempted suicide 'multiples times' before the age of 15. Lily Allen reveals HUGE boost in music royalties since the collapse of her marriage to husband David Harbour after the singer was left devastated by affair scandal
Lily Allen has revealed she's been enjoying an unexpected surge in her music royalties recently - despite not having released any new material for years. The soaring interest in her early Noughties pop hits comes just months after she split from her husband, Stranger Things star David Harbour, and launched an OnlyFans account. The 40-year-old, whose famous tracks include Smile, The Fear and Not Fair, claims the unexpected revival is due to a new generation of fans streaming her songs online. 'I do find it hard listening to that music,' she admitted. 'I'm not ashamed of it because I think it was good for what it was at the time. And actually I think it does still stand up.' Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast, Miss Me?, she added: 'It's having an actual resurgence on the internet. I know because my royalty payments are going up. There are young kids that are into my music now.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The surprise boost comes despite the fact Lily hasn't released an original single as a lead artist since 2018's Trigger Bang, from her fourth studio album No Shame. Her commercial breakthrough came nearly two decades ago, with 2006's Alright, Still and 2009's It's Not Me, It's You reaching second and first place in the UK album charts respectively. Currently, she has 10.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Lily, daughter of actor Keith Allen and film producer Alison Owen, admitted she's been tracking the new wave of interest through streaming data. But while her royalties may be rising, she has been outspoken about the limited income musicians often receive from streaming platforms. In a viral social media post last year, Lily hit back at a post on X claiming she earned over a million dollars from Spotify by revealing she actually makes more money by selling photos of her feet on OnlyFans. 'Imagine being an artist and having nearly 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify but earning more money from having 1,000 people subscribe to pictures of your feet,' she wrote. 'Don't hate the player, hate the game.' Lily launched her OnlyFans account last summer, shortly before it was reported she'd split from David, whom she had married in 2020. Speaking this week, she opened up about how emotionally difficult the past year has been - and how music has become her main outlet. The surprise boost comes despite the fact Lily hasn't released an original single as a lead artist since 2018's Trigger Bang, from her fourth studio album No Shame 'I think about the stuff I've been going through in just the last year. I've had some really, really tough times,' she said. 'And I have had a real reluctance to pick up the phone… I don't have hour-long conversations about the hard things that I'm going through.' Instead, she channels those emotions into the studio. 'Music is the one place where I can let it all go,' she explained. 'It's almost like therapy. I like to write and record at the same time with somebody else in the room - there's something therapeutic about it. 'My producer or my co-writers become almost like therapists because I'm processing the things that I'm going through in real time.' She added: 'I can do that in music, but I can't really do it when I'm talking to friends or my parents. It doesn't mean I'm being inauthentic... I just don't feel like I can sum things up properly. But I can do it in a three-and-a-half minute pop song.' With her two daughters, Ethel, 13, and Marnie, 12 - by her ex-husband Sam Cooper - on the cusp of teenagehood, Lily says she finally feels free to consider new creative opportunities without being tied down by the school run. 'I had set up my life in a way where I was in New York to be a present parent for my kids during the school time,' she said. 'So everything that I had to do work-wise would have to be in the summer holidays or in the winter. 'So it was always: choose the right thing because that's the only thing you're going to get to do for the year. And if that doesn't go well, then it's a f****** disaster.' 'But now they're getting older. Obviously they still need me, but they don't need me so much. I don't need to pick them up from school. I don't need to drop them off at school. 'They do all of that themselves. And they can stomach it if I have to leave and go somewhere for a week and come back. So I'm not so full of fear around it.' 'That shift has left her feeling creatively energised. 'There are endless opportunities. And I am feeling positive about them,' she said. 'I have got musicals in me to write. I have got more albums to put out. I've got more plays to do. Hopefully some parts in TV shows or films. I have got more songs to write for other people, if that's what I decide [to do].' She'll also be returning to the stage next month in a new production of Hedda Gabler at the Theatre Royal Bath, following her West End debut in 2:22: A Ghost Story. And with the 20th anniversary of her debut album Alright, Still fast approaching, she's already thinking about how to mark the milestone. 'I would like some very generous offers from venues to play 20-year anniversaries,' she joked. Not long before their split, Lily turned amateur sleuth after speculating that David had 'cheated' on the same dating app. She was left in 'agony' when she allegedly discovered the actor had a secret profile on the celebrity dating app Raya, The Mail on Sunday revealed. The pop star joined the app herself, pretending to be 'looking for women' – and allegedly found that David had already set up a dating profile. He was reportedly listed on the app as being active for at least a month. Raya is so exclusive that it accepts only around eight per cent of applicants, but it has more than 10,000 members, with 100,000 on the waiting list. Once users find a new partner, they usually disable their profiles. A source said: 'Lily was looking for women that were on Raya and cross-referencing them with women David follows on Instagram to try to figure out who he was seeing. She was doing her Wagatha thing. 'Lily only rejoined Raya to try to figure out whether he was seeing someone. 'Lily has never even looked at anyone since she met David. She is devastated. He broke up with Lily a month ago. 'He was meant to be on holiday with her in Kenya over Christmas.' David's alleged dating profile, exclusively revealed by the Mail on Sunday, read: 'Visiting New York from Atlanta' and 'closet nerd that plays tough guys on your TV'. It also described him as living in Atlanta, Georgia, 800 miles from the family home in Brooklyn, New York, where the couple moved in 2020, with Lily enrolling her children in local schools. He bought a house in Atlanta last year to be closer to the Stranger Things set as the show was filming its fifth and final series. Lily's circle of London friends said she had suspected for some time that her husband was interested in other women. By the time the couple broke up, she had become convinced that he had a secret girlfriend.

Victoria Beckham's earnings from Spice Girls in just one year revealed amid family feud
VICTORIA Beckham is still raking in Spice Girls royalties despite last performing with them over a decade ago. Fashion designer Victoria, 51, last performed with the group at the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony but continues to earn a pretty penny from their enduring popularity. 8 Newly-filed accounts reveal that Spice Girls Ltd made a £93,000 profit last year. As one of the five members, Victoria owns a 20% stake in the business, meaning she took home £18,600 from those profits. Despite no recent tours or performances, The Sun previously revealed Victoria has made around £1million from music-related earnings over the last 12 months. Companies House documents show that Victoria's company, Moody Productions, which she founded in 1997 to manage her music royalties, now holds £2.4 million in assets. The filings list the income as coming from 'recoupment of music recording and publishing royalties and endorsement activities'. While Victoria's solo music attracts nearly 20,000 monthly Spotify listeners, the Spice Girls remain a streaming powerhouse, with 12.6 million fans tuning in each month. It follows reports on her wedding day. Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, first sparked rumours of a rift between them and his parents when they snubbed all of David's 50th birthday celebrations. And it was today claimed that Victoria "hijacked the first dance" at Brooklyn's Palm Beach wedding to the actress in 2022. Brooklyn Beckham takes swipe at David and Victoria amid 'family feud' as he shares tribute to wife Nicola Peltz "Marc Anthony, who is a friend of the Beckhams, offered to perform as a gift at the wedding," the source told People. "Before the song began, Marc Anthony asked Brooklyn to come to the stage, and then announced, 'The most beautiful woman in the room tonight, come on Beckham!'" Nicola allegedly "felt that Victoria ruined her wedding, and couldn't understand why." Another source told the publication that guests were shocked when Victoria started slow dancing with her son. What should have been a special moment between the newlyweds, ended up with Victoria reportedly stealing the spotlight. They said: "It wasn't appropriate," adding that a room full of guests saw "Nicola run from the room crying." 8 8 8 The insider added: "Nicola felt like Victoria did this on purpose, when she knew it was a pre-planned romantic dance meant for Brooklyn and Nicola. What she couldn't understand was why." But a source who was at the wedding told The Sun that this was not the case and Victoria only danced with Brooklyn after being pulled up on stage by good friend and performer Marc. They said: "At the reception dinner there were speeches and then the happy couple took to the floor for their first dance while about 500 guests sat around and watched. "After this, Nicola had a dance with her father Nelson, which is normally when the groom would dance with his mum, but for whatever reason that didn't happen. "Much later, as a gift to the couple, Marc Anthony performed a few songs and everyone got up to dance. "As part of this he pulled his best friends David and Victoria up on stage with him and then grabbed Brooklyn to dance with his mum and Harper danced with David, Cruz also got up with Eva Longoria as I recall. It was a fun family moment and one dance. "No-one realised in the moment that Nicola was upset as she just stormed out of the room. She returned later and the evening carried on to an afterparty with DJ. "It's all just totally baffling. "Everyone there was utterly mystified as to why Nicola would get so upset." It comes after insiders said retired footballer David and fashion designer Victoria 'can't deal' with the situation between them and their son. The source told US Weekly: 'It's sad, really. 'David and Victoria didn't even know Brooklyn was in London. It's becoming increasingly clear how strained things are behind the scenes.' 'David and Victoria always turn up for Brooklyn and Nicola, whether it's for the launch of his hot sauce brand or her movie premiere. This is just very sad.' The insider added: 'Brooklyn's family adores him and will always be there for him. They just can't deal with this nonsense anymore.' And the source claimed that Brooklyn decided not to meet with his parents as he's "trying to let things go right now and is giving everyone space". Over the weekend Brooklyn made his feelings very clear with a damning social media post in which he vowed to always put his wife first. He said: 'My whole world. I will love you forever. I always choose you baby.' And fans were less than impressed. One commented: "Why do you need to do this post on social media , who are you trying to convince? There's no need to say these things publicly - odd." A second said: "What on earth forced you to choose…just miss those Beckhams together days." While at third remarked: "Remember kid, you are nothing without your parents.' 8 8 8 8
