Reality star QUITS hit show after five years and ‘many break ups' as relationship with millionaire is revealed
MADE In Chelsea star Ruby Adler has confirmed she's left the series after five years – saying she was "ready for a new chapter". The 30-year-old star has been a regular face on the series for years, but fans noticed she had not joined the cast as Made in Chelsea began filming the next episodes in Thailand. 7 7 Ruby, whose romance with Australian multi-millionaire real estate broker Gavin Rubinstein was revealed last month, was noticeably missing from the group, and now she's explained why. Speaking from her getaway in Greece, Ruby posted a video on TikTok as she got ready, explaining her decision. The video was titled: "Thank you all so much for the support on MIC for the last 5 years. Here's to the next chapter." Speaking as she cleansed her face, Ruby said she " felt like she owed fans an explanation" after "so much of her life has been on screen", and confirmed she's not returning to Made in Chelsea. "Some of you might be thrilled, I feel like a lot of you will be thrilled, to hear knowing that not coming back," she said. "I think I've done for five years. I've had the most incredible five years of my life. We've got to travel the world. I've got to film with my best friends. "There's been so many highs and lows. There's been makeups, breakups – many makeups, many breakups – I've hit 30, I was going in a slightly different direction, and wanting a bit more peace at this moment in time." While she hasn't ruled out a return at some point in the future, she said it was "unlikely" and added: "My personal life feels like it's thriving at the moment, if I do say so myself, and I kind of want to focus my time and peace and energy on that." "Don't miss me too much. Have a feeling you won't," she joked. "But I know a few of you do." "I just want to say thank you so much. Like, what a journey we've all had together," she said. "I've been given this amazing platform over the years that's grown, and there's so many of you have been here from, like, literally, like my first ever scene, and it's been the craziest, most incredible journey of my life. Made In Chelsea star Ruby Adler opens up about family heartbreak as she plans to raise awareness on E4 show "I literally, honestly bought I would join Made In Chelsea and film one scene, one episode, and here we are, five years later, having travelled the world, having met the most amazing people, worked with the most incredible people, and it's genuinely changed my life for all the most amazing reasons." She concluded by saying the chapter felt "quite solidly closed" as her closest friends on the show have "slightly moved on with their lives" and it didn't feel "authentic" to continue without them. Ruby Adler joined the cast of Made In Chelsea back in 2020 as Reza Amiri-Garroussi 's girlfriend. The pair split after an on/off 10-year romance in 2022, with Ruby not having the best luck in love in the years since. Ruby had a "secret fling" with All Stars winner Tom Clare, with the two were messaging just hours before he entered the Love Island villa back in January 2024. She also dated convicted drug dealer Nicholas Sinclair, after his release from prison last year. In contrast, new love Gavin has his own stint in reality TV as a cast member of Million Dollar Listing: Sydney. He's also been seen rubbing shoulders with celebrity A-listers in Los Angeles, particularly at basketball games. 7 7
