Drake brings out special guest at Co-op Live show for 'world-first'

Fans at Co-Op Live were treated to the world-first performance of a brand-new Drake track as he brought out a special guest to perform it. The Canadian rapper will perform over four nights in the city, beginning last night (July 25) with a career-spanning setlist that kicked things off with a bang. His sojourn in the UK began in Birmingham on July 20, starting his Some Special Songs 4 U tour that will take him across Europe in August and September alongside fellow rapper Partynextdoor. And in honour of the new release, Drake brought the London rapper to the Co-Op Live stage yesterday - to the delight of his thousands of fans. "Make some noise for my brother Central Cee - I know we look alike," the rapper joked. The pair performed their new track Which One together before the Brit took the spotlight temporarily to perform his track Sprinter, released with fellow rapper Dave in 2023. He cut a casual figure in black cargo pants, a black graphic tee and baseball cap, alongside a large green leather backpack which he kept on throughout the performance. "What did he pack for lunch in that back pack", joked one TikTok commenter. Their joint performance was met with screams of joy from the crowd, although some fans commenting on social media expressed disappointment that there had been no special guests for the Birmingham shows. User Evie wrote on TikTok: "And Birmingham got nothing...". "I knew I should have gone Manchester," wrote another. Drake has quite the history of collaborating with British rappers, featuring on tracks with J Hus, Headie One, Giggs, Dave and Skepta over the years. This is his third time performing in Manchester, after the Boy Meets World Tour in 2017 and the Assassination Vacation Tour in 2019. During his time in the city so far he has been spotted in a number of celeb haunts, including the Ivy restaurant in Spinningfields - and, somewhat unexpectedly, at Piccadilly station. "It's been too long," he told the crowd last night, referencing the six years which have elapsed since his last visit. "I left you for too many years and want to apologise."

Sam Smith is known to push the boundaries of fashion with their range of looks. And the singer turned heads as they opted for a floor length navy dress as they enjoyed a cigarette outside The Cow pub in Notting Hill on Thursday. Featuring flared sleeves and a scooped neckline, Sam flashed the array of inkings on their chest as they chatted with a friend. Sam paired the dress with a matching navy bandana and completed the pirate-esque ensemble with gold hooped earrings and a cross body bag. The social outing coincided with the release of Sam's new song To Be Free. The musician has been teasing their latest track on their Instagram the past few weeks admitting the song is 'more than special to me'. They penned: 'I wrote this song with my dear friend Simon Aldred. iPhone 17 Pro new colours reportedly revealed from an interesting source

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Quick Summary A new leak might have just showcased the colours for the new iPhone range. And there is more than one surprise in there! The new iPhone release is expected in just a couple of months, and the rumour mill has already been turning furiously. It feels like a lifetime ago that we learned of the design for the range, which employs a different camera bar for each of its models. Now, it looks as though we might know the colours for the models – and it comes from rather an unlikely place. Shared on Twitter by Sonny Dickson, the colours of the lens rings on the camera may give us the best insight yet. The tweet showcases the colour options for each model in the range. That starts with the base model iPhone 17, with options in black, grey, silver, light blue, light green and light purple. Next up is the iPhone 17 Air, which is seen in black, silver, blue grey and light gold. Last but not least is the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models, shown in black, grey, silver, dark blue and orange. It's worth noting that the colour names employed here are indicative of the overall appearance, but they aren't necessarily the final colour names, or even indicative of the overall colour of the device. These parts tend to have a similar appearance, but can be a different shade to the back panel. For example, the orange hue on the camera ring may be paired with a copper-toned device. For me, that's the most exciting piece of news here – a copper coloured device would look simply fantastic, in my opinion. The dark blue option is also likely to cause some excitement among fans. Blue was a favourite back on the iPhone 15 Pro, but it was notably absent on the iPhone 16 Pro models. The remainder of the range doesn't really throw up too many surprises. You've got a smattering of more juvenile colours on the base model – light purple could be a neat evolution from the pinks we've seen recently – while the new iPhone 17 Air is seen in an array of safe colours. With just a few months until we expect them to launch, we'll be keeping a close eye out for any more leaks and rumours.

Over the past year, the music superstar has teased plans to release new music by sharing photos of himself in the recording studio via Instagram. On Thursday, a billboard appeared in Times Square, Manhattan which featured the cover art for the project, a black-and-white photo showing Bieber facing away from the camera while his wife Hailey Bieber holds their 10-month-old son Jack in the background. The 21-song tracklist was also included, with the album including songs titled All I Can Take, Daisies, and Go Baby.
