President Trump issued disaster declaration for four Siouxland counties
(KCAU) — On Wednesday, President Trump approved a Presidential Disaster Declaration for four northwest Iowa counties.
Governor Kim Reynolds' office said the declaration is for Crawford, Harrison, Monona, and Woodbury counties.

It is in reference to the significant damage sustained to private properties and public infrastructure from the severe weather on March 19.
Officials said the declaration activates the Federal Emergency Management Agency's public assistance program, which gives money to be used for multiple areas, including debris removal and restoration of damaged utilities.
