A Nikki Twist After July 23 Young and the Restless?

On the July 23 episode of The Young and the Restless, Nikki swore to Kyle that she had no idea about Victor and Audra's plan to break up him and Claire. Nikki is horrified and disgusted, and, honestly, she doesn't even believe that it's true. But what if Nikki is lying…? The Woman Behind the Man Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has been one of Claire (Hayley Erin) and Kyle's (Michael Mealor) biggest cheerleaders. She thinks their relationship is wonderful! But what if Nikki is only saying this because she doesn't want to upset her newfound granddaughter…or the perpetually prickly Victoria (Amelia Heinle)? What if Nikki has been saying one thing… but she really feels something else? After all, Kyle had already hurt Nikki's other granddaughter, Summer. Why would Nikki want to live through Act Two of that? What if Nikki is the brains behind the whole Audra (Zuleyka Silver) plan? She's the one pulling the strings! MORE: Find out what happens next on Y&R. The Woman Behind the Woman But Nikki is smart. And, we have to assume… bored. Sure, Victor (Eric Braeden) made her head of Chancellor Industries. But you know he still controls every aspect and decision, meaning Nikki is left to just rubber-stamp his edicts. She needs something to keep her mind occupied. Which is how she came up with the plan to convince Audra to convince Victor to fund her company…and to earn that honor by breaking up Kyle and Claire. READ MORE: Here's what happened today on Y&R. Manipulating Victor has got to be fun for Nikki. After all, she can't possibly adore him as much as she claims to. Nikki knows all the horrible things Victor has done. She can't be that gullible. So why not have some fun? Manipulate Victor, control Audra, and break up Claire and Kyle. All in a day's work! And they all deserve it. Solve the daily Crossword

Could Billy and Phyllis Prove Cane's Innocence or Crash and Burn on the Young and the Restless?

Billy is concocting a plan with Phyllis. This could become the best part of this murder mystery plot on The Young and the Restless. The two are determined to prove Cane's innocence, especially since they both want to work with him. This could go either way. It could be the best thing ever, or it could crash and burn. Is Cane Innocent? That's the question on everyone's minds. They're not sure if they can trust him, especially since he pulled the wool over their eyes. Cane (Billy Flynn) made everyone think he was this mysterious billionaire named Aristotle Dumas. Now, he's entrapped everyone at his French estate in Nice. It sounds nice on paper, but it's turning into a horror movie. Cane claims that someone is out to kill him. But does he have the right suspects in mind? Damian (Jermaine Rivers) unfortunately had to die in the hands of the killer, who's still on the loose. READ NOW: What's happening on the July 23 episode of Y&R? Meanwhile, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Billy (Jason Thompson) will team up to prove Cane's innocence. They're the only ones who trust him. But are they being easily misled? Besides, Billy and Phyllis are desperate for a new venture. Their desperation could get the best of them. Why This Plan Could Crash and Burn Billy and Phyllis have teamed up in the past, and we know where it went. They've become two people who are guaranteed to crash and burn in Genoa City. Billy and Phyllis have very few successes under their belts. They haven't accomplished much, individually or together. It would be a first if they could prove Cane's innocence and get into business with him. Phyllis claims that she has a winning business idea. Meanwhile, Billy ditched his position at Abbott Communications and gave it to his girlfriend, Sally (Courtney Hope), who might find herself floundering. READ NEXT: Phyllis thinks she's a power player—Y&R fans think otherwise. But there's one problem with this plan. Billy and Phyllis don't trust each other. Plus, they're their own worst enemies. They suffer from impulsivity and delusions of grandeur. Phyllis should've learned her lesson about working with Billy before. Hopefully, she's just using him and not relying on him like the last time. If not, then they will likely crash and burn together because she will likely take him down with her. What are your thoughts on Phyllis and Billy teaming up? Do you think they'll be able to prove Cane's innocence? Or do you think it'll crash and burn quickly? Messiest Move of the Week: Art of Seduction Blows Up in Audra's Face on Young and the Restless

This week's messiest move goes to Audra on The Young and the Restless. She really thought she had Kyle in the palm of her hand. The fierce businesswoman relied on her good looks and charms to get him into bed, but it didn't work this time around. Kyle ended up winning because he saw this plot coming from a mile away. Queen of Seduction It's no secret that Audra (Zuleyka Silver) is the ultimate bad girl and seductress. Men could never resist her beauty and curves. So, she assumed that bedding Kyle (Michael Mealor) would be easy. After all, she's had an affair with him before. The two got tangled up with one another when Kyle's marriage to Summer (Allison Lanier) was crumbling. He was upset that she covered up her mom, who had faked her death. READ NEXT: Kyle beat Audra at her own game—but here's how she could defeat him. But it's different this time around. Kyle's in a committed relationship with Claire (Hayley Erin). Their relationship has been drama-free aside from the fact that Victor (Eric Braeden) doesn't want them together. That didn't stop them from making future plans. When Audra came to Kyle's room to share the news about Damian's (Jermaine Rivers) death, she thought she had him. Especially since he was just sitting around his hotel room in a towel. But Kyle already knew about Audra's plan with Victor. He knew that she was willing to go all the way to get what she wanted. Also, she didn't care if she destroyed his relationship with Claire or her relationship with Nate (Sean Dominic). However, Audra thinks Nice is like Las Vegas, where whatever happens in Nice, stays in Nice. Sure, there's no internet or cell service, but secrets are bound to come out. READ NOW: Y&R fans plot Audra's next move—it's more scandalous than you might think. Why It's Messy It's not messy that Audra lost. What's messy is that she's lost her touch. Maybe her long-term relationship with Nate made her this way. She's not the type of person who wants to stay committed. Kyle even said so himself. Yet, she's come around to finding love and staying committed to someone. At least, this time around. Maybe she's no longer the ultimate seductress who can make any man weak. Maybe she does have feelings for Nate and is rusty in her scheming, as a result. This proved that Audra is off her game. How will she recover from this? We're interested in seeing what Audra will do next. She still has her eyes on the prize, and she won't leave Nice until she makes it happen. Audra has to make a deal with the devil quickly. But it might be too late. Got a juicy soap forecast? Email amber@ and help start the next must-watch debate. Solve the daily Crossword

Final arguments on Monday in bail hearing for 3 Quebec extremist plot suspects

The RCMP says four people, including active members of the Canadian Armed Forces, are facing charges after allegedly plotting to "forcibly take possession" of land in the Quebec City area. This RCMP handout image shows military-style training police allege the accused took part in. (Source: Quebec RCMP) A Quebec court judge is expected to hear final arguments from the Crown and defence attorneys on Monday in a bail hearing for three men facing terrorism charges in the Quebec City region. The men are accused of plotting to forcibly take over land in the Quebec City region. The Crown is opposing bail for Simon Angers-Audet, 24, Raphaël Lagacé, 25, and Marc-Aurèle Chabot, 24, who face charges of facilitating a terrorist activity, and other charges related to the illegal storage of firearms, and possession of explosives and prohibited devices. Judge René de la Sablonnière heard testimony from the three men as well as their relatives on Friday. There is a publication ban on details of the testimony provided to the court, which began Thursday with an RCMP officer testifying for the prosecution. A fourth accused — Matthew Forbes, 33 — is facing weapons charges and was granted bail last week under a lengthy list of conditions that include wearing a GPS tracking bracelet. Forbes and Chabot were active members of the Canadian Armed Forces, but the military has said they have not been performing duties or having unescorted access to the base since their arrests. This report by The Canadian Press was first published July 25, 2025.
