On Tuesday evening, Flow Space hosted an intimate gathering to celebrate the release of Midlife Private Parts: Revealing Essays That Will Change the Way You Think About Age. Among all of the standout voices was Katie Fogarty, podcaster, career coach and author of the searingly honest essay 'Toxic Rage.' 'I want a divorce,' her piece begins. 'Four words detonating a sunny day, shouted in my gravel driveway at my college boyfriend husband of 24 years.' It's a dramatic opener, but not for drama's sake. It's a symptom. A red flag. 'I felt crazy,' she writes. 'Most of the time.' 'For many years, I never thought about menopause at all,' she told the audience of the Tuesday night event. 'And if I did think about it, I associated it with hot flashes, right? Because they have an excellent publicist.' 'So when I never had a hot flash, I didn't think I was in menopause, but I had months and months of sleep interruptions,' she continued. 'I had what my doctor called 'mood instability,' which sounds very genteel, but actually was presenting more like toxic, volcanic fury, and the film was tearfulness, unexplained… Like, I couldn't manage my emotions. I felt like a toddler at times, and my brain had been hijacked.' At the time, Fogarty had just launched her podcast A Certain Age, and was beginning to hear echoes of her experience from guests and listeners: rage, sleep loss, disconnection, depression, even suicidal ideation. 'It's insane that all of these well educated women who are so powerful in so many areas of their life don't have enough information [around menopause]' she said at the event. 'And I felt angry again about how underserved so many women are, and that there are a lot of toolsthat are available that can really help.' Her essay, like her podcast, aims to name what's too often unnamed. She describes the physiological derailment of midlife hormones and the emotional toll of feeling unmoored. It's deeply personal—but it's also a rallying cry. Fogarty's story doesn't end in that driveway. 'Slowly, my husband and I made some changes,' she writes. 'Time passed, and I became more steady, solid.' Hormone therapy, communication, great lube and sheer persistence helped her reclaim joy and connection—with herself and with her husband. The final scene? The two of them laughing uncontrollably in a supermarket aisle, 'holding an artichoke,' the rage now replaced by love and absurdity. It's a reminder that naming our pain is the first step to healing. As Fogarty puts it: 'How did I get here?' In asking that question—not just in despair, but later, in gratitude—she gives all of us permission to do the same.

Controversial social media star Liver King has been arrested after travelling to Texas in a bid to hunt down podcaster Joe Rogan. Brian Johnson, known to many as Liver King on social media platforms such as TikTok, has reportedly been charged with making a 'terroristic threat' after threatening the Rogan in a series of video-taped rants days before he attempted to meet his rival face-to-face. 'Joe Rogan, I'm calling you out, my name's Liver King. Man to man, I'm picking a fight with you,' said the influencer, who is the star of Netflix film Untold: The Liver King. He said that he didn't have training in jiu-jitsu. 'You're a black belt. You should dismantle me,' Liver King said. 'But I'm picking a fight with you.' Liver King claimed that he had thought about his game plan. 'I'm not gonna train but I hope you've been training,' he warned Rogan. 'I'm ready whenever you're ready. 'This is actually happening, it'll be fun,' he said before telling Rogan that he would 'make him pay'. New footage that's since gone viral on Twitter and Instagram showed Liver King being escorted into a police car while handcuffed. The influencer was looking dishevelled and was wearing a vest over the top of his hoodie. Police said he being held without bond on Tuesday night following his arrest. Johnson and Rogan have a long-running feud that is thought to stem from when Rogan suggested his rival's ripped physique isn't natural. In 2022, leaked emails revealed that Johnson had been spending thousands of dollars on steroids every month, despite the fact his brand was built on having a natural physique from his exclusively raw meat diet. Rogan alleged at the time that 'there's no way you can look like that in your 40s. I mean, he's preposterously jacked.' Just hours before his arrest fans shared their concerns on Instagram after Johnson posted a video hugging some of his family members in a room. In the clip, Johnson appeared to be talking in circles as he sipped a coffee and gripped hold of a screwdriver. 'His poor wife and kids,' remarked one follower, with another adding: 'I can't look away, this is so hard to watch'.

Former glamour model Katie, 47, who first sparked worry over her shrinking appearance at the start of the year, hit out at critics on Snapchat as she zoomed in on a set of scales. 5 5 The TV personality, believed to be 5ft 4in tall, showed her weight as 7st 12lb. Katie had attempted to put fears to rest, saying in the video: "Everyone is so obsessed with my weight. This is what I weigh. That. That is what I weigh." But with the combined weight of her 2120cc breast implants removed - which are thought to weigh around 4.87lb each - her implant-free body is closer to 7st 2lb. That puts her BMI at 17.2, putting her below the healthy range and into the underweight category (below 18.5). It also nudges her dangerously close to being classed as moderately underweight, a sub-category defined by the World Health Organization as a BMI below 17. Katie has also confessed to having dermal filler injected into her face and bum, however the weight of these treatments are unknown in her case. The podcaster previously tried to shut down fears over her weight loss, saying she decided to slim down after a long-standing foot injury and attempts at IVF made her put on weight. Speaking on her Snapchat in May, Katie said: "Yes I've lost weight. "Yes that what I've wanted to do, I've wanted to lose weight. "Because the past three, four years ago when I broke my feet and I was in a wheelchair for 10 months because they said I'd never walk again, and obviously you put weight on being in a wheelchair.
