As she puts it, an aura is the "energy signature" that surrounds a person. She describes it as "a personality type, but on a much deeper level." She says your aura essentially introduces you "not only to anybody around you, but also to the universe itself." "Auras don't just show you who you are, but also what energies you may require to feel more comfortable," Michaela Michaela believes that you're born with your aura, and it stays the same throughout your life. But she says she does see auras change in texture, balance and hue throughout someone's life, or even just on a daily basis. "Your core aura colors really don't change," she shares. "But living life, it comes with so many situations and traumas and societal expectations that can impact your aura colors."Sometimes she sees people with purple auras essentially hiding it. "When they're not comfortable in themselves, [they] kind of push it down or push it away," she says. She adds that sometimes she'll also see people with "inauthentic aura colors... they wear colors that aren't theirs—just to get by."She adds that sometimes teenagers show "a lot of purple in that age range," for According to Michaela, there are several personality traits associated with the purple aura. She says they're often creative and artistic, as well as naturally intuitive. "They just kind of lean on gut feelings as logic," she says. She adds that those with purple auras are often not very judgmental and, as a result, can have an eccentric friend group with many types of people in it. She says it's also very common for those with purple auras to "hate being told what to do," which is part of their rebellious nature. Michaela says that all auras have a spiritual connection, but they connect in different ways. For purple, she says that connection is very intuitive. "They know immediately what's happening with somebody without a lot of explanation," she says."I think purples just have a wilder connection to the other side," she adds. "And the thing with purples is they don't need to prove it." She explains that purple auras are more likely to trust and believe someone or something, which is why they operate on gut feelings."Whatever you want to call it on the other side... spirit guides, angels, the universe—they love it when you just accept it... so it's an easier connection," Michaela One of the biggest things Michaela cautions those with purple auras to pay attention to is their mental health. "I notice that purples do have a hard time with mental health problems more than other aura colors," she says, adding that purples may also experience addiction issues more than other at the same time, she says that those with purple auras can potentially work their way out of some problems where other aura colors may struggle to do so. "They're more adaptable to change," she says of those with purple is why Michaela thinks it's so important to know your aura color, because you know what to watch out for and also how to potentially navigate it. When it comes to dating and relationships, Michaela thinks those with purple auras need to be discerning. "As a purple, you draw them in... you get a lot of attention, you get a lot of dates, you get a lot of people," she says. "The problem is, you might not like all those people. You need to really trust your filter... You have to be a little bit more picky, because purples tend to also let things slide a lot." She also cautions that people with purple auras, because of their intuitiveness, may try too hard to be and say what they think the other person wants. "Showing up authentically as you from day one is the best way to approach any relationship," she advises instead. "Just be you, because a lot of times you can't hide the purple." She adds that people with purple auras should be "upfront" about their non-negotiables and what they do and don't want out of a relationship. "[Be] firm in that," she Michaela says that a purple's "free spirit" means that they might have a "hard time with a nine-to-five job... or working traditionally." She recommends that they lean into their creative nature to find a career that maybe lets them work from home or travel, versus getting a standard in-office job."A lot of times with purples, they're in creative atmospheres and creativity can be different things," she explains. "I see purples as graphic artists. I see purples as writers. I see purples as singers and entertainers." She adds that she also thinks that they could thrive in an ever-changing environment, like managing a fast-paced restaurant."[They] do really well in chaotic environments... because they can think on their feet," Michaela says. When it comes to managing their finances, those with purple auras can be just as chaotic with money as they can be with their work. "They do have a hard time with financial planning," she says, because they tend to live more in the moment with a "life's short" mentality."They're spontaneous. So spending the money can be part of that as well," she says. "They don't like to tell themselves no either." That means they may be more likely to spend money on last-minute trips and such. "Purples are impulsive and, man, that makes them fun," Michaela acknowledges. "But it is very hard... overall, purples can struggle with self-destruction."But, as with all of the purple traits and potential challenges, knowledge is power. Michaela thinks that "purples have a much easier time also understanding what their problems are. Celebrity psychic medium Tyler Henry has revealed he has successfully undergone brain surgery. The reality star, 29, had most of a 'colloid tumor' removed from his brain and will now be on bedrest for a month. The star announced the operation on Wednesday with a photo of him in his hospital bed, which appeared to have been taken after the surgery. A bandage was on his head as he snuggled into his pillow with a smile. 'Brain surgery was a success! Great prognosis, incredible staff, and I feel so thankful to be surrounded by my family. I'll be on bedrest for a month and look forward to getting back to doing readings. 'For those of you who connect with me virtually, not much should change as far as private reading giveaways and group readings, right now I'm just on the mend. For those curious, I had a colloid tumor near the center of my brain and thankfully most of it has been removed! (The tumor, not my brain… that is.) Thank you all so much for your support.' Tyler previously underwent an emergency brain surgery at age 18 following the discovery of a congenital cyst. The cyst, which is benign, needs to be regularly drained when it grows too large as it would be too risky to remove completely, according to The Cut. 'I have wondered if it relates to my ability at all,' he told the publication last year. The Hollywood Medium With Tyler Henry star also endured a collapsed lung in 2019 and has congenital blebs on his lungs that he needs to keep an eye on. Opening up about the brain cyst on Instagram, Tyler posted a photo of him giving a reading as a teenager just before the health scare came to light. 'This photo was taken a month after my 18th birthday in the backyard of my childhood home,' he wrote on Instagram in 2023. 'I was doing readings on camera in my small town of Hanford, CA. Only a week later an MRI revealed a congenital brain cyst that lead to emergency surgery after weeks of headaches. A mass I was born with was only now causing a life-threatening situation as my adult life was just beginning. 'Despite all that, this project allowed for one of my most exciting moments as an early medium - reading an entire diner full of strangers, as well as delivering messages in my teenage haunts of China Alley (later featured on @lifeafterdeathnetflix). 'This experience taught me early on the importance of timing and trust. Without the inevitable brain surgery that ensued, I don't think I would of had such a firsthand awareness of the fragility of life. It was an intimate reminder for me of the fine line dividing this realm and the next.' The surgery revelation comes just a week after Tyler - who worked with the Kardashians in 2015 - tied the knot with his longtime beau Clint Godwin. The lovebirds appeared to go about tying the knot the simple way, opting to head to their local Beverly Hills courthouse. Henry shared a single photo of their pair with his 1.2 million followers and wrote, 'Today, we are married! Life with you is an endless sleepover with my best friend and life's just getting started.' He added in the heartfelt note: 'I knew when we met nearly a decade ago that you would be the one, and that conviction only grew stronger with every day. Best premonition ever!' An engagement was never announced, but Henry told E! News in 2019 that he'd likely be the one to propose. The newlyweds' love story began in 2016, when Tyler gave Clint a reading. 'He had seen me on [Keeping Up With the Kardashians]. He messaged me and said that he'd be interested in a reading,' the star opened up to GLAAD in 2022. The E! personality added, 'I knew the second I saw him that I had something that I needed to share with him regarding his grandfather, who had died.'
