Guernsey Police appeal over 'distressed' child's welfare
Guernsey Police are appealing to the public for information after a young boy was seen in a "distressed state".Police said witnesses saw the boy near the Co-operative store at Les Camps at about 16:30 reported that the child, described as a black male aged about 10 to 11 years old, ran into the road and was nearly struck by a was last seen fleeing the area before officers arrived on the scene. The boy is described as relatively tall for his age, with a black afro hairstyle, and was wearing a brown T-shirt and brown shorts at the time of the Police said they were keen to locate the child to ensure his safety and wellbeing.

Shot fired during road rage incident in Oshawa, police say

THE CANADIAN PRESS/Doug Ives OSHAWA — Durham police are making a public appeal for information after a suspect fired a gun at another driver during an apparent act of road rage over the weekend in Oshawa. It happened at around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday in the area of Rossland Road East and Wilson Road North. Police say that the victim was travelling northbound on Wilson Road when a driver in a dark-coloured SUV began tailgating them and motioning them to drive faster. When the victim entered the turning lane, police say that the suspect pulled up alongside their vehicle and began to verbally threaten them before firing a single shot that caused the victim`s drivers side window to shatter. The suspect was last seen fleeing westbound on Rossland Road East. Police say that officers subsequently arrived and located a single bullet in the victim's vehicle. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Police are continuing to search for the suspect and are currently seeking assistance from the public. The suspect`s vehicle is described as a dark-coloured older model Dodge Journey.

OPP seeks video footage of collision that seriously injured pedestrian

(CTV News) Police are appealing to the public for video footage of an incident that happened about two weeks ago in Severn Township involving a pedestrian collision. Provincial police say a vehicle struck an individual walking on Muskoka Street in Washago around 1:45 p.m. on May 25. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital suffering serious injuries. Police ask anyone with video footage of the area at the time of the incident to contact the Orillia OPP at 705 326-3536 or 1-888-310-1122.

Desperate search for woman, 24, last seen Friday ‘believed to be wearing green jumpsuit'
POLICE have launched a desperate appeal for information after a woman was reported missing. The 24-year-old was last seen on Friday June 6 and is believed to be in the Cardiff area. 2 South Wales Police have since asked the public for help locating missing Cara Winkworth. She was last seen wearing a green jumpsuit and a black coat, anyone with any information is urged to contact the police. South Wales Police said in a statement: "Help us find Cara Winkworth, 24. Moment man sets himself on fire in botched arson attack
