Mother begs for help to find son who disappeared in King's Lynn
The mother of a missing man has made a public appeal "begging" people who may have information about her missing son to contact Ile, a 54-year-old Latvian national living in King's Lynn, Norfolk, was last seen in the Highgate area of the town on 20 inquiries, Norfolk Police said they believed he had come to harm, and in March launched a murder investigation, despite not having found a body.A translated appeal by Mr Ile's mother, Galina, said: "I am begging for any information, if you know something, if you've seen Maris please report it to police." Galina described her son as "caring", who trained as a carpenter, making all his own furniture. He loved motorbikes, she said."This is very important to me," she added."If he is no longer alive, then I want the police to find his body, so he would be cremated and brought back home to Latvia so he could rest on Latvian soil, so that he can be buried with his father in the cemetery."On 11 March, four men and a woman were arrested at addresses in King's Lynn, Norwich and Peterborough on suspicion of murder in connection with Mr Ile's disappearance. Stolen German Shepherd dog sparks police appeal in Woking

Police seek help finding Ella Davenport, who is missing in Auckland for two weeks

Ella Davenport, 57, has been missing from her Hain Avenue home in Māngere since Friday, 20 June. Police have information she is still in the local community, with the last unconfirmed sighting of her being around the BP petrol station on Massey Road in late June. She may also frequent the 24-hour laundromat near the petrol station. Police are concerned for Davenport's wellbeing, especially as Auckland has been experiencing cold and wet weather recently. "I would like to thank those in the community who have contacted us or spoken to police about Ella in recent weeks," Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Robb Kerr said. "I'm asking for residents in Māngere and Māngere East to keep an eye out for her. "If you see her, please contact police straight away." Troopers look for driver of hit-and-run on US-131
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Troopers are asking the public for help finding the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash on US-131 in Grand Rapids early Saturday morning. Around 3 a.m., troopers with the Michigan State Police were sent to US-131 just north of Wealthy Street for a serious injury crash involving a motorcycle. Responding troopers learned that a second vehicle involved had taken off from the scene before they arrived. MSP said that the vehicle is described as a 2006 or 2007 dark-colored Jeep Grand Cherokee with a missing passenger side mirror and body damage. Anyone with information on the driver and vehicle involved in the crash is asked to contact the MSP Grand Rapids Post at 616.866.4411. The crash remains under investigation. Barrett Fraser, 43, is missing from an address in Guysborough County, according to a news release from the health authority. Fraser is described at five-foot-nine, 214 pounds, with short brown and grey hair and a brown and grey beard. 'The patient's risk to himself and others increases with the length of time he is away from treatment,' reads the release.
