Katie Price pulls out of another public appearance just hours before hitting the stage
KATIE Price has pulled out of another public appearance just hours before hitting the stage. The 46-year-old was due to entertain revellers at the free all-day event today. 5 5 But organisers of Glasgow's Pride have released a statement on their social media channels expressing their disappointment over the change of plans. They said: "Unfortunately, **Katie Price** is not able to attend Glasgow's Pride 2025 due to another urgent obligation." Fans were quick to comment and one wrote: "Sorry to bring the mood down but Katie Price should never have been booked in the 1st place. "Absolutely nothing to do with our community and convicted drink driver to boot. Do better next year!" Another added: "Didn't even know Katie Price was supposed to be coming. No advertising for her." But it's not the first time Katie has pulled out of a planned appearance at short notice. Just last week, Katie pulled out of her headline slot at Barnsley Pride just days before the event. At the time organisers said: "We sincerely apologise to all our visitors who are looking forward to joining us for our Barnsley Pride 2025 events. "Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, Katie Price will no longer be headlining our Funny Gals Main Stage / After Dark Official Pride Afterparty. "We want to make it clear that this is beyond our control and that we are genuinely disappointed, as we were very excited to have her as part of our line-up of amazing acts." Katie Price admits she's facing being made homeless as she can't find a guarantor for new rented property days before moving Last month she was one of three main acts on the South coast joining the likes of Nadine Coyle, Sabrina Washington from Mis-Teeq, and Drag Race UK's River Medway and Victoria Scone. Katie channelled her inner pop princess, donning a tiny black thong bodysuit that showed off her newly enhanced bum and famous boobs. She strutted on stage in a frilled pink jacket and a giant, jewel-encrusted hat embossed with the word "Pricey" in pink rhinestones which matched a tiny silver belt around her hips. Katie sang songs including a piano led version of RnB classic (We Don't Have To Take Our) Clothes Off and A Whole New World – which she previously released as a single with ex-husband Peter André. The Sun has contacted Katie's representative for comment but has not received any word yet. Recently, Katie slammed Love Islanders for having sex on TV and insisted she would "never" do it. The villa superfan and her sister Sophie gave their brutal assessment on the recent edition of The Katie Price Show podcast. Love Island fans had been left gobsmacked recently as Harrison and Lauren had sex in the villa again - just hours after he tried to kiss islander Toni. In a jaw-dropping moment Harry was seen handing a condom to Harrison and Lauren as things got steamy under the covers for the second night in a row. And when Sophie declared the move a brazen one Katie replied: "I wouldn't." Sophie replied: "Yeah, sex in the villa is a rare occurrence, isn't it? So it's like, oh." Katie reiterated: "I would never have sex on telly." And her sister agreed with her sentiment and said: "Nor would I, Absolutely not never. It's gross, no." 5

Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson Hard Launch on the Red Carpet
Earlier this week, after much speculation, Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson made their first public appearance together for dinner at Carbone in New York City. Last night, the Dallas Mavericks star supported the rapper as she hosted the inaugural gala for her Pete & Thomas Foundation, which supports women, children, and seniors in her hometown of Houston, Texas. Megan wore a black criss-cross halter-neck dress from Off-White that skimmed her body and pooled around her on the floor. The I.B. Kamara-designed gown was outfitted with a thick, highly embellished belt that sat low across her hips. While we may be seeing Megan Thee Stallion sitting courtside soon, last night, it was Thompson's turn to cheer on his partner. He embraced his HAB (husbands and boyfriends, of course) style in a dapper black tuxedo. With a red carpet hard launch under their belts, we can only imagine what their couple style has in store.

Reclusive Athina Onassis, heiress to $2.7 billion fortune, steps out of the shadows at exclusive Parisian ball in second public appearance in 3 years
She's known for her reclusive tendencies, but Athina Onassis last week made her second public appearance in recent times, suggesting she might be turning over a new leaf. The French-Greek socialite, 40, who reportedly splits her time between a small town in the Netherlands and Belgium, attended the exclusive Bal d'Été, directed by Sofia Coppola, in Paris on the first Sunday in July. Her attendance at the exclusive ball comes just four months after Athina stepped into the limelight for the first time in three years at a charity art event hosted by the Amis du Centre Pompidou in France. The 40-year-old equestrian is the daughter of French businessman Thierry Roussel and socialite Christina Onassis, whose father was Aristotle Onassis, owner of one of the largest shipping fleets in the world. Despite inheriting a billion-dollar fortune as a member of the dynasty, tragedies in Athina's life have led to suggestions she's a victim of the 'Onassis curse', which has befallen several members of her extremely wealthy family. Nonetheless, for the inaugural Bal d'Étém, which welcomes 300 A-Listers, at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Athina put on a stunning display in a flowing red dress with a plunging neckline. Before entering the black-tie event, Athina posed for photographs with her guest, who put on an equally glamorous display. The equestrian joined celebrities including Kiera Knightley, Kirsten Dunst, and Anna Wintour at the gala, which strives to lean on its rich and famous guests to raise money for the hosting museum. When Athina was just three years old, her mother, Christina, 37, was found dead in the bathtub. On her 18th birthday, Athina was given access to her late mother's $2.7billion fortune. Athina has stayed firmly out of the spotlight throughout her adult years, choosing to keep her personal life under wraps. After the breakdown of her ten-year marriage to 'Doda' Álvaro de Miranda Neto in 2016, she almost completely withdrew from public life altogether. Before her appearance this year, Athina, a keen showjumper, was seen in June 2022, when she competed at the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping show at Champ de Mars. At the event, Athina looked almost unrecognisable, having traded her signature bleached hair for her natural colour. The secretive socialite ditched her typically no-makeup look and wore a glamorous full face of cosmetics, including blush, contour, mascara, and eyeshadow, with her lips looking fuller than in previous years. Athina donned a sheer black lace dress, along with a glitzy sequin blazer and wore a silver jewelled crucifix around her neck. She posed for a picture with Ines de Cominges, the only daughter of Count and Countess Rafael de Cominges of Madrid, and artist Arnaud Cabri-Wiltzer. Pictured: Athina competing during the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping show at Champ de Mars in Paris in 2022 She has only been seen a handful of times at public events since her ex-husband was reportedly found in bed with a one-night stand in the $2million home that Athina bought in Wellington, Florida, in 2016. learned that 'Doda' Miranda, who was formerly part of Brazil's Olympic showjumping team, was discovered in bed with the woman by his wife's security team. A well-connected member of the international show jumping circuit told the Mail that Athina's security team busted him 'having sex with another woman'. 'He begged them not to say anything, but one of them went straight to Athina. She immediately packed her bags and went off to Europe,' the source said. 'It was apparently a one-night stand, there was nothing serious going on between them.' Miranda spoke to Brazilian magazine Epoca at the time and said: 'I am really in the midst of a storm. But I will not give up on my love. It won't be easy but I will fight until the end.' Miranda has since gone on to marry another woman, journalist Denize Severo, and has welcomed two children. Athina's marriage breakdown is not the first heartbreak she has endured - after tragically losing her mother at the age of three. In her early childhood, Christina bonded with her daughter and gave Athina her own flock of sheep, complete with a shepherd, when she learned the nursery rhyme Baa Baa Black Sheep. She also gave her a private zoo. It was previously reported that Christina had died of a heart attack brought on by years of eating disorders. Athina was reportedly the richest teenage girl in the world when she inherited her mother's $2.7billion fortune when she turned 18. However, her fortune has been badly managed over the years, experts say, and she sold Aristotle's private Greek island, Skorpios, to Russian billionaire Ekaterina Rybolovleva in 2013 for an estimated $100million. Despite being one of the wealthiest families in the world, the Onassis dynasty has famously been plagued by tragedy. A decade and a half earlier, Christina had lost her entire family in little more than two years. Her 24-year-old brother Alexander was killed in a plane crash in January, 1973, and their mother, also called Athina, died of a drug overdose the following year. Aristotle, who never recovered from his son and heir's death, then passed away from bronchial pneumonia in March 1975. Christina had four marriages, none of them lasting over three years. Athina (whose father was Christina's final husband, French pharmaceutical heir Thierry Roussel) was her only child. Athina is now the only living Onassis grandchild of Aristotle. Thierry Roussel fathered a son with Swedish model Gaby Landhage while Christina was pregnant, and the couple split shortly after Athina was born. After Christina's death, Athina went to live with Roussel and Gaby. Athina is believed to have no contact with her father and has even dropped his last name. Thierry was also not among the 1,300 guests invited to her December 2005 marriage to Miranda in a specially constructed Roman Catholic church at a resort in Sao Paulo. Instead, Miranda's father Ricardo led her down the aisle. Miranda told a Brazilian magazine in 2011 that they intended to start a family within a few years. 'Athina is still very young,' he said, adding that having a baby would interrupt her budding showjumping career. 'I also have a very busy life,' he said. 'When a baby comes I want to reduce the number of competitions to be more present.' Athina reportedly became pregnant in 2013 but suffered a miscarriage. Miranda said that Athina spent much of her time looking after Vivienne, his daughter with model Cibele Dorsa, who killed herself in 2011.

King Charles' alarming bloodshot eye raises health concern during French state visit
King Charles' latest public appearance has raised some eyebrows. On July 8, the monarch welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, to Windsor. The 76-year-old was joined by his wife, Queen Camilla, as Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton led the ceremonial start of the French state visit. While the monarch was all smiles as he greeted the French president and his first lady, many royal watchers observed a visible bloodshot appearance in his right eye. Charles is still completing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer. A palace source told Fox News Digital that Charles experienced a burst blood vessel in one eye. They noted it's unrelated to any other health condition, including his cancer treatment. Fox News Digital reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment. Charles was diagnosed with cancer in 2024. A broken blood vessel, or "subconjunctival hemorrhage," is typically harmless and is similar to having a bruise on your skin, Mayo Clinic reported. According to the outlet, it can be caused by a "strong sneeze or cough" and, while it looks alarming, it clears up on its own within one to two weeks. Charles didn't appear to be in any kind of discomfort. Instead, he carried out his royal duties as planned, hosting President and first lady Macron at Windsor Castle with full ceremonial honors, People magazine reported. According to the outlet, a dazzling state banquet is scheduled to take place this evening in St. George's Hall, with both leaders expected to deliver speeches. Sources previously told People that the king has been determined to continue public-facing duties as he addresses his health. "The thing you learn about this illness is that you just manage it, and that's what he does," a royal aide recently said about Charles's ongoing treatment. "Medical science has made incredible advances, and I genuinely see no difference in him," they shared. "As long as you just do what the doctors say, just live your life as normal as possible. That's exactly what he is doing." Charles wasn't the only one in good spirits. WATCH: PRINCE HARRY LOOKING TO RECONCILE WITH KING CHARLES, ROYAL FAMILY For the occasion, his daughter-in-law Middleton wore a pale pink Christian Dior ensemble. According to the outlet, the piece was created by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the brand's first female designer, who was inspired by an original piece created by Christian Dior himself in 1947. The Princess of Wales completed her look with a matching hat, as well as earrings that belonged to Princess Diana and a pearl necklace from Queen Elizabeth II's collection. Diana was a muse for Dior. The late Princess of Wales famously carried the Lady Dior bag, which became part of her signature look. Like Charles, Middleton was diagnosed with cancer in 2024. In January of this year, the 43-year-old announced she was in remission from the disease. "You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment," she said about her journey with cancer during an appearance at Colchester Hospital on July 2. "Treatment's done, then it's like, 'I can crack on, get back to normal,' but actually, the phase afterwards is really, really difficult," she said, as quoted by People. "You're not necessarily under the clinical team any longer, but you're not able to function normally at home as you perhaps once used to. And actually, someone to help talk you through that, show you, and guide you through that sort of phase that comes after treatment, I think is really valuable." "You have to find your new normal and that takes time... and it's a roller coaster, it's not smooth, like you expect it to be," she noted. "But the reality is you go through hard times."

Trump and Melania's plans to mark the terrifying Butler day that almost ripped their family apart
President Donald Trump will mark the one-year anniversary of the Butler assassination attempt with his family, followed by a massive public appearance in front of a cheering crowd. Melania will be at his side throughout the day. The couple has been affectionate in public as of late - they exchanged as kiss as they watched fireworks at the White House on the Fourth of July and the president put his arm around the first lady as they walked to Marine One on Friday for a trip to Texas to see the damage from flooding there. Sunday marks a year since a lone gunman fired shots on him at his Pennsylvania campaign rally, shooting Trump in the ear, injuring two others in the crowd and killing audience member Corey Comperatore. It was a 'profound' and 'sad' moment for the entire Trump family, one insider told Daily Mail. All of them called Trump as he lay in Butler Memorial Hospital, being checked out by doctors. Melania Trump, in the aftermath, put out a rare, emotional statement describing her fear of losing her husband - 'his laughter, ingenuity, love of music, and inspiration.' Ivanka Trump rushed to meet her father when he arrived at his golf club in Bedminster after he was released from the hospital. The president will reflect on the day in an interview with his daughter-in-law Lara Trump, which will air Saturday night on Fox News. The duo taped the conversation on Monday at the White House. 'It was unforgettable,' the president told her in excerpts released by Fox News. 'I didn't know exactly what was going on. I got whacked. There's no question about that. And fortunately, I got down quickly. People were screaming, and I got down quickly, fortunately, because I think they shot eight bullets. And one got me.' But, on Sunday, the date of the actual anniversary, Trump will spend part of it quietly with his family before joining thousands of soccer fans. He'll start the day at his Bedminster, N.J., golf club. Melania Trump will be there as will Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner. That afternoon, the president will head to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to watch the Club World Cup Final match. Melania will join him in the stands. Then Trump returns to the White House. He'll no doubt be cheered by thousands of people, which is what he likes. The president feeds off the energy of a crowd. And, they will be happy to see him as he is the reason for the championship game. Trump was president when FIFA awarded the 2026 World Cup to the United States, Mexico and Canada back in 2018. But Bedminster, the property were he spends his summer weekends, was where Trump was brought in the aftermath of the shooting attempt on his life. On that night, club officials cleared the place of all people. The massive club house - with its restaurant - the pool area and golf courses were emptied out as part of the security measures. Club members who booked rooms on the complex were told to pack their things and leave. One White House staffer, who was with Trump when the assassination attempt occurred, recalled to Daily Mail how eerie it was to walk onto the empty club property in total silence. The place is usually bustling with members, their families and supporters happy to see the president. It was Melania Trump who demanded Trump be brought back to New Jersey from the Pennsylvania hospital where he was treated after the shooting. She wasn't at the campaign rally. But she spoke to Trump when he was in the hospital and argued repeatedly with the head of Trump's Secret Service detail, Sean Curran, to bring him to Bedminster. She won, Josh Dawsey, Tyler Pager and Isaac Arnsdorf reveal in their book '2024: How Trump Retook the White House and the Democrats Lost America.' Trump would come to his New Jersey home and Susie Wiles called the club manager to order the entire complex emptied of people. They only had two hours to get hundreds of club guests off the property, officials told Daily Mail. At the hospital, Trump kept talking about the shooting, wanting to relive it over and over, the authors report in their book. He suffered a minor injury in the attempt on his life - a bullet grazed his right ear, leaving blood trailing down his face. After doctors checked him out, he worked his cell phone: Melania called several times; he spoke with his children and he took calls from some of the famous, richest people in the world: Sylvester Stallone, Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos. Then-President Joe Biden gave a 'very nice' phone call, according to Trump. He rarely discussed the incident in public, however. 'I'll tell you exactly what happened, and you'll never hear it from me a second time, because it's actually too painful to tell,' he said a week after it happened when he addressed the Republican National Convention. 'I'm not supposed to be here tonight,' he said. 'I stand before you in this arena only by the grace of almighty God.' The entire Trump family received an outpouring of support and prayers from officials across the political spectrum and public officials around the world following the shooting. And Trump's family showed their love and support. Melania called the gunman a 'monster' and described the moment she watched the bullet strike her husband's ear. 'When I watched that violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized my life, and Barron's life, were on the brink of devastating change. I am grateful to the brave secret service agents and law enforcement officials who risked their own lives to protect my husband,' she said in an emotional statement. Ivanka was at Trump's side the evening of the attempt and with him the morning after. 'I love you Dad, today and always,' she said in a statement after the shooting. And she noted her mother Ivana was likely watching over him: 'Two years ago today, my mom passed away. I believe she was watching over Dad last night during the attempt on his life.'
