Motorist left with 'life-changing' injuries after being rammed by car and attacked by gang of four
Greater Manchester Police are appealing for information after a man in a car was driven at by another vehicle - whose occupants then jumped out and attacked him.
Police say they were called at 10.29pm last night (June 27) to reports of a road traffic collision and assault on Eva Street in Leigh.
The victim had been in his car when a black Volvo drove at him at the junction of Eva Street and Ena Crescent, according to Greater Manchester Police.

Four people are then understood to have exited the vehicle and assaulted him through the window with weapons.
The victim suffered life-changing injuries and remains in hospital for treatment.
The perpetrators then left in the vehicle towards Wigan Road in the direction of Hindley Green, with the driver of the Volvo also driving away.
Police then received a further report five minutes later after the black Volvo went through a gate to the fields on Melrose Avenue.
The car, believed to be the offending vehicle, was later located burned out in the fields. All occupants had fled the scene and police say work is ongoing to locate them.

Investigating officers are now appealing for assistance from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
