Love Islander's family accused of ‘losing star £25k' after Meet The Parents day turns VERY awkward

LOVE Islander Cach Mercer's family have been accused of "losing him £25k" after the Meet The Parents day turned VERY awkward. ITV2 viewers said it was "painful to watch" as his sister grilled Toni Laites over her love triangle with Harrison Solomon. 5 Toni and Cach have had a bit of a bumpy romance so far on the show, hindered by Toni and Harrison's will-they-won't-they situation. Casa Amor lad Cach is now coupled up with American stunner Toni, despite his embarrassment and tears after she ditched him for Harrison at a previous recoupling. And during last night's Meet the Parents, Cach's sister, Ayjah had plenty to say. Ayjah, firstly spoke to her brother about him being upset by Toni and Harrison's actions. Cach admitted: 'You don't understand how embarrassing it was." His sister insisted: 'Everyone felt it. It hurt to see you cry.' His brother D'Shae added: 'I had to look away.' When Toni and her family joined them, Ayjah said to Toni: "You know you made the wrong decision. "You are a cool person, it's just the communication, girl." She then went on to ask Toni how she felt about Cach but her body language was quite frosty. 'Harry's a different person with her' insists Shakira's mum as she breaks silence on Love Island villa visit Fans of the show on social media were quick to reveal their feelings, with one tweeting: "Ngl if cach doesn't make it to the final he has his siblings to blame, i understand being shy/holding someone accountable for their actions but it was coming off as straight 'i have 0 interest in talking to you', even after she apologized. Poor toni." Another added: "Cach family giving a masterclass in exactly how NOT to act if you actually want your loved one to bag that £25k in the final." Someone else said: " I feel like this is going on tooooo long now and the awkwardness from Cach's siblings is making me cringe." While a third said: "These parent meet ups are so cringe. Toni and Cach's family." Another agreed: "This sis so cringe." "Cach's sister wasn't having Toni one bit," said someone else. One viewer argued: "i know cach's sister wants the best for his brother and everything. "But she's doing too much like she made one mistake." 5 5 5 5

Love Island couple OVER just days after leaving villa as he's pictured all over Towie star

LOVE Island stars Ben Holbrough and Andrada Pop have split just days after leaving the villa - as he's spotted all over a Towie star. The taxi driver, 23, and the nail technician, 27, vowed to give their romance a go on the outside after they were dumped from the villa following a public vote. 9 9 9 9 9 But just days after they gushed over each other on Love Island's Aftersun, the pair seem to have already called it a day. Last night, Ben was spotted putting on a cosy display with Towie star Dani Imbert, 27, at the St Moritz summer party. They were seen whispering in each other's ear, holding hands and then proceeded to enjoy a string of kisses at Broadwick Soho. A source said 'There was instant attraction from the moment they met - they spent two hours kissing at the party it was all very intimate. "It's clearly very much over with Andrada as Dani seemed to be the only thing on his mind." Days after their exit, the pair appeared on podcast Ben shared how he's had a "reality check" after fans branded him "vile". He said: "We had Yasmin, Toni, Shakira - I had my run-ins with them. The thing is, it was all such silly things as well. "Not using it as an excuse, but feelings and emotions are just so heightened. It's the littlest things that can trigger you." Love Island's Ben admits he's had a 'reality check' after fans branded him 'vile' Ben continued: "For me, the way I went about it, I should've went about it so much more differently. The way I spoke, the language and stuff. "It's not until I watched it back that you realise - obviously with certain situations in life, you have arguments. "But you never see it back. You're never in a position where you can watch it back and see how you actually were. "I think me actually watching it back especially, gave me like a real reality check of, 'I don't like how I spoke'." She added: "We're just taking it day by day and getting to know each other more and more." Ben entered the ITV2 villa on Day 1, where he was initially coupled up with Shakira. However, bombshell Toni arrived as the first big twist and "stole" the hunk away. He would ultimately later recouple with Shakira - and also explored connections with Yasmin and Helena. By Casa Amor, he and Shakira had recoupled again but had no romantic spark between them. Upon meeting the new girls, Ben and Andrada soon hit off and began their connection. They were coupled up in the main villa, before ultimately being dumped from the island after receiving the fewest public votes. 9 9 9 9

Something to tell us? MasterChef star Sarah Todd's bizarre accessory as she leaves a wedding venue with younger boyfriend Declan Cleary in Melbourne

MasterChef couple Sarah Todd and Declan Cleary recently denied that they are set to marry any time soon. But the pair added fuel to the fire earlier this month when they were spotted checking out a wedding venue in Melbourne. The two spent time at Middle Brighton Baths, a popular spot for nuptials, with Declan's dad joining them. Adding to the mystery, Sarah covered her hands with ski gloves, perhaps to protect against the cold - or to hide an engagement ring. Sarah looked chic in a baby blue suit, under which she wore a darker blue top. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. But the pair added fuel to the fire earlier this month when they were spotted checking out a wedding venue in Melbourne The chef added a pair of well-loved sneakers, layering gold necklaces to complete her look. She had on a full face of makeup in a peachy tone, along with a pink lip gloss, and had her brown hair down. Declan was casually cool in a checked shirt paired with black trousers and leather dress shoes. The couple strolled hand-in-hand while taking in the ocean vista, appearing relaxed and smitten with one another. It comes just days after Sarah and Declan addressed rumours they're planning to take the next step in their age-gap romance after moving in together. The lovebirds, whose romance continues to go from strength to strength, told Daily Mail Australia that while they are not planning to tie the knot anytime soon, they have become a family, with Declan taking on the role of stepfather to Sarah's teenage son Phoenix, 14. 'It's all relatively new but it's working great,' they said, adding: 'When it's right, it's right.' While the reality stars' romance has come as a surprise to many, Sarah, 38, and Declan, 27, said they had an 'immediate connection' while filming the Channel 10 cooking show. 'Sometimes, things just appear out of nowhere for all the right reasons. We made an immediate connection,' they said. Declan also responded to criticism he is 'punching above his weight' with former model Sarah. 'I'm happy about that (comment). She's beautiful inside and out and she's the better cook, everyone knows that,' he said. 'We are just starting our journey together. If chemistry is a problem this early on, there's no future,' Declan added. 'My future looks tremendous.' Sarah and Declan went public with their relationship earlier this month, revealing that they had already moved in together following the high-pressure show. They came clean about their secret romance in an interview with Stellar magazine. Declan revealed that the pair 'instantly got along', which saw them spend lots of time together behind the scenes of MasterChef. The couple strolled hand-in-hand while taking in the ocean vista, appearing relaxed and smitten with one another. However, it wasn't until Sarah landed in an elimination challenge that Declan's feelings became apparent, and he knew he needed to tell her how he felt. They also posed for the magazine, with Sarah looking stylish in denim as she embraced her beau. For their first date, the pair visited the Grampians National Park for a romantic weekend away, exploring markets, eating at picturesque restaurants and going for walks in the Central Victorian Highlands. After wrapping filming on the show, Declan made the move from Sydney's Northern Beaches to Melbourne – along with his dog Sol – to be with Sarah and Phoenix. Sarah's ex-fiancé Devinder Garcha recently broke his silence on her romance with Declan. The project manager said he was happy for them, adding that he'd met Declan for the first time 'the other day' and thought he was a 'nice guy'. 'I wouldn't say we're friends or not friends. We're pleasant, and good luck to her,' he added. Devinder explained he'd spoken to Declan while Sarah was dropping off their son. The lovebirds, whose romance continues to go from strength to strength, told Daily Mail Australia that while they are not planning to tie the knot anytime soon, they have become a family, with Declan taking on the role of stepfather to Sarah's teenage son Phoenix, 14 'We try to keep it all amicable. It's all the best for the kid. Declan seems like a nice guy. Phoenix likes him. He seems pleasant. I wish them all the luck,' he said. 'We both focus a lot on Phoenix. As long as he's happy, I'm happy.' The father-of-one said he and Sarah were together for 'about five years [in] total' and engaged for two before they split. Devinder stopped appearing on Sarah's Instagram account around December 2014.

Is 'Aashiqui 3' being rescripted after Saiyaara's success?

After Mohit Suri's emotionally charged musical drama Saiyaara became a runaway hit, there's concern that Anurag Basu's next, a musical romance starring Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela, follows a similar storyline. The upcoming film has long been touted as the third installment in the Aashiqui franchise. The comparisons were perhaps inevitable: like Saiyaara and its spiritual predecessor Aashiqui 2 (also directed by Suri), Basu's film features a male lead who's a rockstar, and the narrative focuses on his personal and emotional journey. But Anurag Basu isn't having any of the 'copycat' talk. In an interview with Mid-day, the Barfi! and Metro… In Dino director dismissed all claims that his film is being rewritten to avoid overlaps with Saiyaara, calling the similarities "superficial at best." 'Mohit and I are very close. I'm happy for his film's success. The only similarity in our films is that the male lead is a rockstar, and the story is about his journey,' Basu said. He went on to clarify that he had been aware of Saiyaara 's storyline all along, having heard it directly from Suri himself. 'In my film, the girl doesn't have dementia or any [other condition]. We are not rewriting or re-shooting,' he added. 'I knew beforehand that the girl had Alzheimer's disease in Saiyaara. So, why would I write the same [plot point] in mine?' Interestingly, the story of Saiyaara was originally pitched by Mohit Suri to be developed as Aashiqui 3. However, when that plan fell through, Suri moved ahead with the script independently, casting newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in a deeply emotional love story that struck a chord with audiences. Meanwhile, the producers behind Aashiqui 2 — Bhushan Kumar (T-Series) and Mukesh Bhatt (Vishesh Films) — joined forces to revive the franchise with a new director and lead actor. That's where Basu and Kartik Aaryan entered the picture. But the film hit a legal snag. After Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt parted ways, a dispute erupted over the usage rights of the Aashiqui brand.

'Fantastic Four' stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby's handsy behavior raises eyebrows and movie hype: expert

Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby, whose recent flirtatious behavior towards one another has raised eyebrows, are just two of Hollywood's mega-stars who have sparked romance rumors from handsy, red-carpet appearances. From gentle neck rubs to hand-holding, the superhero power couple — who play Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic and Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman in the Marvel film, "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" — have been noticeably touchy with one another while promoting the movie. But Pascal, who recently admitted physical touch helps him cope with anxieties, said there's nothing more to it. "I was always one to reach out when I'm facing something that is challenging or making me anxious," the actor, 50, told Men's Health. Kirby also defended her co-star's actions. Recalling the time in which Pascal caught heat after grabbing her hand during an appearance at Comic Con last year, Kirby told Vanity Fair the gesture was innocent. "What happened is we were both incredibly nervous going out in front of thousands of people who love this comic," Kirby said. "He wanted me to know that we were in this together, and I found it a lovely gesture and was very glad to squeeze his hand back." However, Doug Eldridge, founder of Achilles PR, said stars often use this tactic as a way to create buzz. "Nine times out of 10, this tactic is used as a buzz-builder, whether for the studio that financed the film, or the actors themselves, especially if the latter are up-and-comers, who haven't developed household name recognition yet. But again, there is always the '10th time' which could bring skepticism and, more importantly, scrutiny." "Pascal uses touch as a 'grounding' technique to navigate social situations, which might otherwise trigger his anxiety. Skeptics claim that's a farce, but clinical professionals have acknowledged the validity of this technique," Eldridge continued. "Wherever you fall on this particular case, the real 'winner' is the studio, as the internet has been filled with clicks and commentary surrounding Pascal, all of which creates a groundswell of buzz and potential 'butts in the buckets' for the upcoming release of 'The Fantastic Four' re-make." Steve Honig, founder of The Honig Company, told Fox News Digital that it's common for stars to use their on-screen and off-screen chemistry to their advantage during the promotional period of their upcoming project. "There are many ways co-stars can show chemistry on the red carpet without crossing the line into something that might be construed as inappropriate. The key here is to keep it fun and light, not sexual or anything heavy," Honig said. "At the end of the day, a red carpet is a place of work for actors, so the general rule of thumb is to not do anything a 'civilian' shouldn't do in their workplace." "Oftentimes, the intent of red carpet PDA is to generate some additional buzz for the film," he continued. "This can, however, easily backfire and generate negative press about the questionable behavior. Red carpets are great stomping grounds for celebrities to build their brands, and they should use premieres and other red carpet events to that end." "Celebrities, and their reps, need to remember that, unlike Las Vegas, what happens on the red carpet does not always stay on the red carpet," he added. "What happens at a premiere can, and often does, have a huge and lasting impact not only on the specific project but a celebrity's overall image. This can spill over to other projects, endorsements and either damage or build a celebrity's brand." Last month, Scarlett Johansson spoke out after her red carpet kisses with her "Jurassic World Rebirth" co-star Jonathan Bailey went viral. The 40-year-old actress and 37-year-old actor made headlines after locking lips at their film's premiere in London on June 17. On June 23, the two shared another kiss at "Jurassic World Rebirth's" premiere in New York City, where Johansson's husband, "Saturday Night Live" star Colin Jost, was in attendance. During a recent episode of "Today," host Craig Melvin told Johansson that he wanted to ask her about "this kissing thing that you and Jonathan have been doing all over the world." Melvin went on to note that Bailey was "so attractive," to which Johansson responded, "Yeah, you said it!" "Is that why we keep planting lips on him?" Melvin asked. "He's a lovable guy, what can I say?" Johansson replied. "I don't know. We're just friendly people." When Melvin asked whether she was surprised by the public attention to the pair's kisses, Johansson told him, "Nothing surprises me, you know what I mean?" "Nothing surprises me these days," she continued. "But, yeah, I've got a lot of love to give, what can I say?" In 2023, Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell, who starred together in "Anyone But You," sparked romance rumors as fans caught glimpses of the two filming. At the time, the duo appeared on the "Today" show to promote the film and their friendship was questioned by Hoda Kotb, who asked if there was "a little romance" going on at any point. Throughout the interview, Sweeney and Powell shared little looks, and the "Euphoria" star couldn't stop giggling. While Sweeney laughed in response to the question about their relationship status, Powell answered: "No, but we do love each other. And, honestly, this is one of the most spectacular humans I've ever met. She's really great." In September 2021, Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain were the stars of a viral video from their appearance at the Venice International Film Festival in 2021 to promote their show "Scenes From a Marriage," where fans noted the pair seemed to be a little too comfortable with each other. In the viral video, the two were posing with their arms around each other for photos. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary until Isaac appeared to kiss and sniff Chastain's underarm area. Isaac spoke on SiriusXM's "The Jess Cagle Show" at the time and offered an explanation for the odd sniffing by comparing himself and Chastain to flatworms. "You know, you can cut them into like a hundred pieces and they will grow a whole new worm out of the little piece. So they're basically kind of immortal, and they've been doing work at the cellular level where they're seeing that the cells kind of talk to each other through electricity and kind of decide, 'Okay you're going to make the head.' 'All right, I'm going to make the tail'…they're communicating through some sort of electro kind of magnetic situation," Isaac explained. "Maybe we should use more actual human language to talk instead of sniffing an armpit and doing things like that," Isaac said. "That's kind of what starts to happen and no matter how much we annoy each other, no matter what happens, it's like, when you get us together, it's like, it's just other stuff that's going on that is making us grow two heads." While Eldridge said the public displays of affection during press are "seldom authentic," some are truly genuine. "It is seldom authentic, but a good rule of thumb is to stay away from terms like 'always' and 'never.' Point being, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn have been together since 1983. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have been married for 40 years. Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Geller have been married for 22 years. Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have been married for 10 years. Improbable and impossible are not the same thing. Just because 'most' of these relationships are manufactured, doesn't mean 'all' of them are." "It's not a question of good or bad [press], but rather inevitable," he said. "The purpose of organizing a global media junket is to drive ticket sales, but the formula is slightly more calculated than the target outcome. Again, the process is simple, not easy: build awareness, create interest/intrigue, generate a call to action."
