THIS Morning hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard seemed to grit their teeth when shown a sculpture of themselves modelled in sand. The breakfast TV duo appeared momentarily lost for words when told the life-size replicas took eight days to create. 3 3 Ben, 50, joked: 'That's a look that I've seen regularly from you, Deeley. Surprised.' Cat, 48, added: 'I like the artistic interpretation there. The artwork, made from 30 tons of sand, will be displayed all summer at SandWorld in Weymouth, Dorset. Last week, This Morning confirmed who will be replacing Cat and Ben over the summer. The ITV presenting duo are set to take a break over the holiday period. Leading the pack are the regular anchors on a Friday, Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary. The former X Factor studio presenter will also sit alongside former Love Island personality, Olivia Attwood, 34. Former singer of The Saturdays, Rochelle Humes will also make her own return to the airwaves to sit alongside Dermot. Producers have also decided to place former Big Brother presenter Emma Willis with former I'm A Celebrity campmate Joel Dommett. Good Morning Britain star and long-time ITV Daytime favourite Andi Peters will also get comfy on the sofa alongside Emma. This Morning's Cat Deeley reveals her REAL name as she's reunited with her old teacher live on air Craig Doyle gets to also present the flagship magazine programme with The Voice frontwoman, along with Sian Welby. She the Capital Radio Breakfast DJ will get to join forces with programme's former showbiz guru, none other than Rylan Clark. Josie Gibson has been involved with the show since 2019 and has been a stabilising force behind the scenes. She will get the chance to present live with the former BBBOTS presenter in a high-energy pairing that's sure to keep fans entertained. 3

During a segment on the ITV daytime show on Monday (14 July), the two hosts' jaws dropped after they were shown their sandy doppelgangers, with Shephard later exclaiming: 'Is that us?' The sculpture made by SandWorld, in Dorset, shows the presenters sitting on the famous sofa with the background of a window in front of the River Thames. The pair tried to mimic the poses their sand counterparts were doing, with Shephard calling the creation 'amazing'. The impressive sculpture took eight days to craft and used a whopping 30 tonnes of sand.

Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard were left open-mouthed on This Morning on Monday as an artist revealed a sculpture of them that looked 'nothing like' the hosts. Viewers of the long-running ITV daytime show tuned in as it was revealed how the artist had painstakingly worked on the creation. Based in Weymouth, Dorset, the sculptor had attempted to carve the hosts with 30 tonnes of sand - and the finished product was unveiled live on air. Former Coronation Street star Colson Smith hosted the segment and sat beside the life-size versions of the pair on a sofa. However, as Cat and Ben feasted their eyes on their figurines, they were left visibly open-mouthed. They attempted to distract from their initial reactions by making playful remarks and dropping digs at each other. 'That's a look that I've seen regularly from you Deeley,' quipped Ben. Cat added: 'I like the artistic interpretation there I think.' The 48-year-old teased Ben on the size of his ears as Colson remarked the hunky host, 50, was looking 'buff'. This Morning viewers flooded social media with comments as they declared it looked 'nothing like' the two hosts. One fan didn't mince their words, asking: 'Who the f**k are they?' A second joked: 'The resemblance really is uncanny.' 'Sand sculpting is very clever but that looked nothing like Ben & Cat,' said a third viewer. A fourth fumed: 'Well, why didn't we see a real sand sculpture being made with tips how we could do it? What a waste of time watching Colston make a bloody sandcastle.' Ben and Cat kicked off a new week on This Morning before they take their summer holidays for a whopping six weeks The ITV hosts had anchored This Morning from the studio and outside as they embraced the summer weather in London Meanwhile, Ben and Cat had kicked off the show with an exclusive investigation into counterfeit Botox procedures They were joined on the daytime programme's sofa by three women who have all been affected. Opening the segment, the hosts told viewers how of 2,000 were surveyed, 15% had to attend hospital following their anti-wrinkle injections, many of which turned out to be counterfeit product. Half of them took place in non-clinical settings and half required some kind of medical assistance afterwards, the shocking findings revealed. However, they were left visibly stunned when mum-of-two Kayleigh revealed she experienced double vision while driving her car with her two kids on board. She explained: 'I went to a hair salon, it was my fourth time going to her when something went wrong. 'I felt like she was rushing, stabbing me in the head with the needle. Really rough. I was driving my son and had my baby in the back when I had double vision. I could see two buses in front of me. 'Then I had really bad vertigo, felt dizzy. I couldn't open my eye, I thought I was going to go blind. I went for a CT scan at hospital, which came back alright. I was treated with antibiotics for meningitis.' Ben, 50, and Cat, 48, then introduced Nicola, Lyndsey and Kayleigh to the show to speak about their own horror stories.
