New satellite imagery of Iran's Fordow nuclear site released
US firm Maxar Technologies has released satellite imagery of Iran's Fordow nuclear site, which was recently targeted by a US bombing. The imagery of the area captured on Friday shows vehicles and equipment near holes believed to be airstrike craters. Those vehicles and equipment were not seen in the imagery taken last Sunday right after the attack. The company says several excavators and bulldozers are seen moving dirt. It says efforts are underway to repair the main access road to the nuclear facility.

US research group: North Korean capsized destroyer appears to be upright
A US research group says a North Korean destroyer that had remained capsized following its failed launch last month now appears to be in the upright position. North Korean media reported earlier that the warship was damaged in an accident during its launch ceremony on May 21. The group 38 North released on Tuesday its analysis of the latest satellite imagery of Chongjin Shipyard in the country's northeast. The imagery taken on Monday showed that the vessel was restored to the upright position. It had previously been seen lying on its side and partially submerged. The analysis said North Koreans apparently restored the vessel's position manually. Imagery taken last Thursday showed balloons and personnel pulling ropes, which were utilized to lift the capsized vessel to the upright position. The imagery also showed probable damage to the sonar bow position. The analysis noted that the shipyard does not have the facilities to handle the necessary repairs. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has instructed that the capsized destroyer be restored before the ruling party central committee's plenary meeting scheduled for late June.
