Police car and semitruck collide in Shakopee; 1 injured
One person is in the hospital with minor injuries after a police car and a semitruck collided in Shakopee Monday afternoon, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Troopers responded to the crash in the area of County Road 101 and Canterbury Road around 4:45 p.m. Investigators say a driver in a Shakopee Police Department squad car was turning onto County Road 101 from Canterbury Road when the car collided with a semitruck. Chopper footage appears to show that both vehicles were severely burnt. According to the state patrol, the driver of the squad car was taken to the hospital. The semitruck driver was not injured. The squad car's emergency equipment was on at the time of the crash, according to the state patrol, which is investigating.

Semi-truck bursts into flames on eastbound 91 Freeway in Anaheim
A semi-truck burst into flames on the eastbound 91 Freeway in Anaheim Monday morning. The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig Alert for the two right lanes past Euclid Street. The cab of the semi-truck was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters quickly responded to the scene, working to extinguish the blaze. According to the Anaheim Fire Department, the driver noticed smoke from the left side of the truck. He pulled over and noticed a fire had started. He was able to get out of the truck without any injuries. Drivers are urged to use alternate routes while crews continue to clear the roadway. It is unclear how the fire started.

1 dead after crash involving sedan, semi-truck in Fort Worth, police say
One person has died after a crash involving a sedan and a semi-truck in Fort Worth on Sunday afternoon, police said. Just before 3 p.m., Fort Worth police were called to Trinity Boulevard and Post Oak for a crash, where responding officers saw the crash involved a semi-truck and a sedan. Crash between semi, SUV backs up traffic on Trans-Canada Highway near Manitoba-Ontario border
Social Sharing Two people were sent to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash near the Ontario-Manitoba border, causing traffic delays for hours on part of the Trans-Canada Highway. Ontario Provincial Police said the collision happened after 8 a.m. Saturday at Rocky Ridge Road near Clearwater Bay, a rural community about 170 kilometres east of Winnipeg. A semi-truck and SUV crashed, police said on a social media post. Two people were taken to hospital and no information has been released about their conditions. OPP initially closed a section of the Trans-Canada Highway, but the eastbound lane was reopened at around 11:40 a.m. A spokesperson for OPP said it is unclear when the highway will fully reopen.
