Is this Netflix's sexiest show ever? The Hunting Wives - a murder mystery featuring MAGA women having lesbian romps - leaves viewers hot and bothered

A new Netflix series 'where every single scene ends with someone having sex or masturbating' is set to challenge Disney's 'bonkbuster' Rivals as the sexiest show on TV. Like last year's surprise hit, The Hunting Wives is also adapted from a bestselling book and features several sex scenes that are guaranteed to set pulses racing - and probably best enjoyed alone. The eight-part series is based on American author May Cobb's erotic thriller of the same name and adapted by Rebecca Cutler, who revealed she was in 'awe of its flagrant horniness'. This has translated into a show that doesn't shy away from full-frontal nudity, messy, no-holds-barred sex, and steamy makeout sessions that have earned The Hunting Wives comparisons to Big Little Lies and Desperate Housewives, as well as Disney's smash hit Rivals. The Hunting Wives premiered in the US on July 21 as viewers were introduced to its protagonist Sophie O'Neill (Brittany Snow) as she relocates to deep red Texas from Boston with her husband Graham (Evan Jonigkeit). She finds herself embroiled in the lives of a mysterious and exclusive group of gun-toting MAGA women dubbed The Hunting Wives. Among them is Margo (Malin Ackerman) who lures Sophie into their world of sex, scandal, and salacious gossip. Margo and her husband, Texas governor hopeful Jed, have an open relationship that allows the high-flying socialite room to have flings with inappropriately younger guys such as the barely-legal Brad (George Ferrier) and also women like her friend Callie (Jaime Ray Newman). Soon then, she sets her sights on Sophie as the duo come together for one of the series's most graphic scenes. In the third episode, Margo and Sophie strip off for a very raunchy, lesbian love-making scene as Brittany's character performs oral sex on Margo. Malin previously spoke about her 'wild' role in the series, admitting: 'I love roles like this.' 'Women who are just big and free and wild', she told The Post. The 27 Dresses star added: 'This show is saucy and fun, and I love veering away from who I am in real life, which is a people pleaser, and stepping into something that's a bit more queen bee, leader of the pack. It was amazing.' Speaking about the steamy sex scenes with Brittany, Malin said the atmosphere was 'playful'. 'I'm so glad it was with her, and we felt so comfortable with each other. We'd become really good friends — and how lucky that we did end up getting along', she added. In her review, Forbes critic Dana Feldman noted there hasn't been a 'book-to-screen adaptation this salacious' since British author E.L. James's erotic romance novel Fifty Shades of Grey. Discussing the show on Reddit after it premiered stateside, one Netflix viewer compared it to a '90s soft core' porn film but with 'incredible actors and production value'. Another wrote: 'I just started this series. Seeing Malin Akerman naked in the first 5 minutes was an unexpected surprise. I'm locked in now! And so is my husband LOL!' A third added that the TV show is even 'more erotic' than Cobb's book because it gives Sophie 'more agency in her relationship with Margo'. One Reddit user confessed she felt like a 'creep for watching it on my tablet' so that her children wouldn't catch her 'watching porn'. 'As I recall in the book the only sexual encounter between the two comes near the end and occurs only because Sophie's drink was spiked,' they explained. 'In the series, when Margot initiates intimacy, Sophie responds in the affirmative and enthusiastically so. I found that depiction far more erotic than in the novel. The book's official synopsis reads: 'Sophie O'Neill left behind the stressful, competitive life of big-city Chicago to settle down with her husband and young son in a small Texas town. 'It seems like the perfect life but Sophie soon becomes bored and restless. Then she meets Margot Banks, an alluring socialite who is part of an elite clique secretly known as the Hunting Wives. 'Sophie finds herself completely drawn to Margot and swept into her mysterious world of late-night target practice and dangerous partying. 'As Sophie's curiosity gives way to full-blown obsession, she slips farther away from the safety of her family and deeper into this nest of vipers. 'When the body of a teenage girl is discovered in the woods where the Hunting Wives meet, Sophie finds herself in the middle of a murder investigation and her life spiralling out of control.'

Liam Neeson jokes that his favourite part of making The Naked Gun was filming 'sex scenes' with co-star Pamela Anderson

Liam Neeson has joked that his favourite part of making The Naked Gun was filming 'the sex scenes' with his co-star Pamela Anderson. Fans have not been quite sure of the status of the co-stars' relationship after he said he 'loved' her earlier this year - ahead of the new film being released on August 1. And now Liam has joked about their intimate scenes as The Sun reports the pair were given an intimacy co-ordinator on set. The star explained: 'I'd never had one before. But she was in the background. There was no kind of, 'OK! Excuse me!'. Pamela portrays a nightclub singer, who comes to Police Squad for help following the murder of her brother, in Akiva Schaffer's slapstick comedy continuation. Pamela added that the intimacy co-ordinator knew when to walk away and joked that she stormed off, with Liam claiming she threw her hands up in the air and said, 'I can't take this! This is too hot for me. I'm going for coffee'. Last week Pamela set the record straight on romance rumours between the pair as the Baywatch queen posed for Entertainment Weekly for their digital cover. And unfortunately there is no romance yet. 'I think I have a friend forever in Liam,' she said. 'And we definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving, and he's a good guy.' Neeson, 73, stars in the film as as Los Angeles Police Squad detective Frank Drebin Jr., son of Nielson's Frank Drebin. It comes after in October Neeson said he was 'madly in love' with the Playboy cover girl. 'She's just terrific to work with,' Neeson told People. 'I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film.' 'Our chemistry was clear from the start. We have the utmost respect for one another,' Anderson told EW last month. 'I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant so our relationship stayed "professionally romantic" during filming.' Pamela portrays a nightclub singer, who comes to Police Squad for help following the murder of her brother, in Akiva Schaffer's slapstick comedy continuation The Canadian-American beauty and Liam bonded over their shared 'love of literature and a good laugh' and she regularly left cookies, muffins, and homebaked sourdough bread in his dressing room. 'I am in awe of him, his experience, and work ethic. I soaked him in like a sponge,' Pamela gushed. 'I'm hoping people love it. We had so much fun making it. I think it's timely for a beloved comedy like this. I'm a fan of the originals. As Liam says, "We could all use a good giggle." I pray we do more.' And the feeling was definitely mutual for Neeson, who gushed to People last October: 'I'm madly in love with her. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film.' The Naked Gun - hitting US/UK theaters August 1 - also features Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Busta Rhymes, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, and Eddie Yu. Jerry Zucker, Jim Abrahams, and David Zucker wrote and directed the original trilogy spanning 1988-1994, which amassed a total $476.4M at the global box office, following the short-lived ABC series Police Squad in 1982. The Oscar-nominated actor is technically five years older than original Naked Gun star Leslie Nielsen was when he shot the third film. Anderson previously worked with the late funnyman - who died, age 84, in 2010 - in Scary Movie 3 (2003) and Superhero Movie (2008), but they did not share any scenes together. This September, the Sonsie Skin co-founder will fly to England to shoot a mystery role in Sally Potter's upcoming funeral drama Alma alongside Dakota Fanning and Lindsay Duncan. In April, Pamela was in Australia filming her role as two-time divorcée Molly in Kornél Mundruczó's upcoming drama Place to Be alongside Ellen Burstyn and Taika Waititi. Last September, Anderson was hard at work on the Spanish set of Karim Aïnouz's dark satire Rosebush Pruning for Mubi alongside Elle Fanning, Callum Turner, Riley Keough, Jamie Bell, and Lukas Gage. The 15-time Playboy cover girl experienced a full-blown career resurgence last year after starring in Gia Coppola's drama The Last Showgirl, which earned her Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations.

And Just Like That: Sarita Choudhury on Sarah Jessica Parker

Don't miss out on the headlines from Celeb Style. Followed categories will be added to My News. And Just Like That star Sarita Choudhury had addressed what it's like shooting awkward sex scenes – and the reason she is 'almost embarrassed' by them. 'I'm like, how do they know that? You think it's personal to you,' the British-Indian actor said. '[You think] do other women have this problem? A lot that happens to us in life, you might tell your one friend, you're not talking to everyone about it. 'Usually in any of the bed scenes, I find the most comedy.' The 58-year-old plays Seema Patel on AJLT, which is currently airing its third season. Seema is a leopard-print wearing and Birkin bag toting real estate agent working in Manhattan, and a close friend of Carrie Bradshaw's (Sarah Jessica Parker), filling the kind of sexually liberated role famously and formerly filled by Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall). An accomplished actor, Choudhury made her Hollywood debut opposite Denzel Washington in Mira Nair's 1991 drama Mississippi Masala, and had a starring role in hit TV series Homeland, among other projects. The cast of And Just Like That including Sarita Choudhury, second from right. Picture: Getty Images Asked about the importance of cultural representation in Hollywood, Choudhury remarks: 'It is so important. As an actor, I look for [the] character. And then because I have brown skin, and I'm Indian, that's going to come in naturally as opposed to the writers informing me how to do that'. 'With And Just Like That, one of the first things I saw was – oh, she smokes, she walks, she says it. I was like, this is exciting. This is not a stereotype.' Sitting down with Stellar from New York, Choudhury says she takes inspiration from Seema's self-confidence, which she muses was likely built from 'maybe not fitting in'. 'Often what looks like confidence comes from, you know, maybe not fitting in,' she said. 'I think you develop your strength, because you have no choice. I think Seema comes from that kind of root. 'I'm of colour, and it doesn't matter what school I went to, I was always the different one. 'You find tricks and you are also like, f-off to anyone who doesn't get it, as you go home and cry. Now, she's like whatever.' 'I think you develop your strength, because you have no choice.' Picture: WireImage Picture: Getty Images While Fendi and Hermes are staples of Choudhury's on-screen wardrobe, her personal style is less like Seema's in real life. 'I like things to look normal, within the glamour. When people tell you, no, no, no, you've got to do this! People actually want your original truth. 'Yes, it has to be packaged a bit at the beginning. In a moment of a scene, you can just stare at someone in a certain way, no one can control that. It's actually more work to be yourself but it's worth it.' The latest season of And Just Like That – the buzzy reboot of groundbreaking series, Sex and the City – has been criticised, including this week for a bizarre plot inconsistency surrounding the killing off Lisa Todd-Wexley's father twice. It led New York magazine's influential Vulture blog to ask: 'Could the loony bin known as the AJLT writers' room have made such a big continuity error?' 'I like things to look normal, within the glamour.' Picture: Getty Images While not commenting on the jarring error, Choudhury said she had felt more embedded into the cast – and role, while shooting the third season. 'I feel so much more settled and also, more alive. Now, I know how to wear high heels well, I know how to open all my purses quickly. 'I enjoy her pace, I know how to study for it. It's less uncertain and scary and it allows me to take in everyone,' she said, referring to her co-stars including Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis. 'By season three now, it's completely at ease. I don't think twice about running into any of their dressing rooms to ask them advice or a question. 'If we're lucky to be in a location, at a lot of our locations there are crowds. We can't even hang out! We can't go to the next restaurant and just sit outside. That's not possible. Sometimes, we visit each other at our houses, where there is certain privacy. 'My most fun these days is when we're in the makeup room together and we gossip. Because we know each other more, it's a shorthand.' It's a contrast to the reality Choudhury faced in the show's first season, when she admits she 'was a little terrified, let's be honest'. 'It was exciting to get the news that I was going to do this and at the same time, how was I going to do this? 'I knew this show was under the world's eye – like, people have a lot of love towards the history of the show. And their history with the show. It was scary. 'By the time season one finished, I started to think, oh, this could be fun! Season two you don't know if you can repeat what you did in season one. 'By season three, I realised it's not me playing a character, it's these friends pulling me in. You start to earn that over the seasons. I feel so comfortable with the ladies.' New episodes of And Just Like That … are out every Friday on Max. The new issue of Stellar is out on Sunday.
