China's Zhang Zhizhen says he is on track to play at Ultimate Tennis Showdown in Hong Kong
China's Zhang Zhizhen has said he expected to return to action in time for October's Ultimate Tennis Showdown in Hong Kong – but would first have to get to grips with the rules of the innovative event. From his career-high ranking of No 31 on the ATP list last July, Zhang, still nursing a shoulder injury, had seen his position slide to No 165 this week. But he said on Monday that he should be back in six weeks' time and confirmed he was on course to play in November's National Games. 'If everything goes well, I should be returning in the week of September 8, at the Challenger Tour event in Guangzhou,' he said. 'I am still recovering, [but] everything is getting better.' Zhang, whose last tournament was an ATP Masters 1000 event at Indian Wells in the United States in March, said he had been enjoying the time off with his daughter, who was born last August. Dodgers' Dave Roberts reveals promising rookie has shoulder injury
The post Dodgers' Dave Roberts reveals promising rookie has shoulder injury appeared first on ClutchPoints. The Los Angeles Dodgers are dealing with some injury problems. Manager Dave Roberts revealed promising young rookie Hyeseong Kim is out with a shoulder problem, per The Athletic. Kim is out for Sunday's game against the Boston Red Sox. 'I think it's been affecting his swing a little bit…I think that's some of the reason why there's a little bit more swing and miss than there has been,' Roberts said. Kim has played through the shoulder problem for at least five or six days, per the outlet. The Dodgers slugger is hitting .311 this season at the plate, with two home runs and 15 runs batted in. The second baseman is from South Korea. The Dodgers are leading the National League West, with a 61-44 record on the campaign. Hyeseong Kim is making a name for himself with Dodgers Kim was signed by the Dodgers at the beginning of 2025. The second baseman was a solid player in South Korea, playing in the Korea Baseball Organization. In South Korea, Kim won four consecutive Gold Glove Awards. He also led that league in stolen bases during the 2021 season. Kim is getting a chance to showcase what he can do, with the Dodgers. This rookie season, the infielder has appeared in 56 games. He has tallied 42 hits for the defending World Series champions. The infielder's numbers have dipped in the last seven games he has played. Kim has just three hits in his last 21 at-bats, with 10 strikeouts. He does have two RBIs, but the Dodgers hope he can improve those stats. Los Angeles likely feels the rest will help their young rookie get his groove back. Kim signed a three-year contract with Los Angeles before this season. He is one of several new additions to the club this year, including Japanese pitching sensation Roki Sasaki. Blake Snell and Tanner Scott are a few of the other new additions. The Dodgers look to take a series from Boston on Sunday. ‘I'm not thinking about retirement': Victor Radley sets the record straight on concussion fears
Sydney Roosters enforcer Victor Radley is confident he'll be fit to face the Storm on Thursday night but will need to see how his shoulder feels over the next few days as he revealed he has no plans on retiring soon despite concerns over his concussion history. Radley came off late against the Sharks with a shoulder concern but is adamant it's not something to worry about. 'It's all good. It's just shoulder issues I've had previously that I was working through,' he said. 'I've been managing it for the past few years. It's not like I need surgery, but you've just got to keep your strength up. It's my right shoulder that I've had issues with, but this time it was my left. It's no problem at all. 'It happened pretty early in the first half, but I came off and let myself cool down and didn't quite keep it as warm as I should have. It was a little bit dead on me, but it's no problem.' The Cronulla game was his second one back after he missed a month of footy following his latest head knock. The Roosters lock was forced from the field against the Knights in round 15 and did not return, with data showing he's has seven concussion or failed head injury assessments in the past four seasons. The club has always looked after its players when it comes to brain health which is why they were in no rush to bring him back, but Radley insists he's fine. Victor Radley has failed his HIA & won’t return - will enter the NRL’s concussion protocols with associated 11 day stand down. Radley has had 7 concussions/failed HIA’s in the past 4 seasons. He’s also undergone 5 HIA’s this year and failed 2 of them. Hope he’s OK. — NRL PHYSIO (@nrlphysio) June 14, 2025 'The head is really good,' he said. 'I've been working really hard on some little things that the doctors and the professors gave me. But other than that, I haven't had one issue. 'Even since then, I've had minor knocks and not one symptom (as a result). I've been completely fine so I'm really positive. 'I've learnt some lessons over the past 12 months, especially at the start of the year with how to deal with it all. 'Everyone has got their opinions which is a good thing because a lot of people will come up to me and make sure that I'm all right. 'It's all coming from a good place, but it can overwhelm me a little bit when every single person you speak with says 'mate, make sure you look after yourself'. 'I see the best in the business with this stuff and they fill me with positivity. That's all that matters to me – to only care about the opinions of people who know what they're talking about. Everyone else is to just keep them happy.' Retirement has been suggested by some people not in his inner circle, and while it's not something he's considering right now, he says he has things in place to ensure he's ready to look after his young family when he eventually hangs up the boots. 'No one ever really comes up to me and says 'you should retire',' he said. 'Maybe there's some stuff in the media, but I just brush that. It's just the people who come up to me and say 'mate, look after yourself. You've got a family'. I think I do know that I've got a family. 'It's all coming from such a good place that I thank them and put it to the backburner. 'I haven't thought about retiring, but I'm not scared too, either. I'm a carpenter and a builder by trade. I'm not thinking about retirement, but it's not because I'm worried about it. It's not my time now.'

Titans QB Will Levis to undergo season-ending shoulder surgery
Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis will undergo surgery on his right shoulder and will miss the entire 2025 season, the team announced Monday. Levis sustained the shoulder injury early last season before re-aggravating it later in the year. On the second drive of a Week 4 game against the Miami Dolphins, Levis dove for a first down and initially sustained the injury. He played in Week 6 after a bye week before missing the next three games. Levis then continued to waver in and out of the lineup as a result of the injury. Advertisement 'After consulting with doctors and his representatives, Will Levis has decided to undergo shoulder surgery that will sideline him for the entire 2025 season,' the Titans said in a statement Monday. 'We support his decision to focus on his long-term health. He approached the offseason with professionalism and showed clear growth as a leader. We remain confident in his full recovery.' Will Levis to undergo season-ending shoulder surgery. Story: — Tennessee Titans (@Titans) July 21, 2025 The Titans selected Levis with the 33rd pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, and he became the starting QB a handful of games into that season. In nearly two seasons as the starter, Levis completed 61 percent of his passes for 3,899 yards and 21 touchdowns against 16 interceptions. This April, Tennessee again took to the draft board for a QB, taking Cam Ward with the No. 1 selection. Though the Titans have not named Ward the starter, he is now poised to be so after Levis' surgery. Veterans Brandon Allen and Tim Boyle are the two other listed quarterbacks on the roster. Tennessee opens the 2025 season at Denver on Sept. 7. Levis' decision to undergo surgery and end his 2025 season before it even began hurts the Titans' depth at quarterback, but it doesn't change much in terms of the outlook of their starting lineup. Tennessee selected Ward out of Miami with the top pick a few months ago and gave him the reps throughout the offseason to prepare him to be the Week 1 starter. The expectation is that Ward will continue into training camp as the team's starter. With Levis sidelined for the season and Mason Rudolph returning to Pittsburgh in free agency, the Titans will be without the two quarterbacks who combined to start every game for them in 2024. Advertisement Levis is expected to return for the 2026 season, which will be the final year of his rookie contract. — Saad Yousuf, NFL staff writer Before Ward arrived in the 2025 draft, the Titans hoped that Levis could become the franchise's next answer at quarterback. He received some starts at the end of the 2023 season as a rookie and got a clean opportunity to be the guy in 2024. Although he flashed potential, the overall body of work made it clear that Levis was not the solution at the position. Levis' time as the starter in Tennessee will probably be best remembered for his interception in the fourth quarter against the Chicago Bears in the season opener last year. The Titans were clinging to a one-point lead midway through the fourth quarter when Levis flipped a pass while falling to the ground under pressure. The Bears intercepted it and returned it for a touchdown, with Levis on his knees with his hands on his helmet mid-play. — Yousuf

JUDE BELLINGHAM has shared an update from the hospital after undergoing major surgery. The Real Madrid and England star, 22, went into hospital in London for a procedure on a shoulder injury this Wednesday. 2 2 It is an issue he has been managing since 2023, but delayed surgery to prioritise commitments with both club and country. And the midfielder has now shared an update on how he is doing. He shared a picture of himself in a hospital gown while lying on his back in a bed. But most noticeably, his arm was held in a sling. In his first two seasons, the former Birmingham star has played 100 games, scoring 28 goals and adding 28 assists.
