Mortifying moment Lady Gaga falls to the ground in front of fans in awkward concert blunder

Lady Gaga fell to the ground just inches away from fans during an awkward slip-up at her Las Vegas concert over the weekend. Pop superstar Gaga, 39, was performing Vanish Into You during Saturday night's Mayhem Ball show at the T-Mobile Arena when the mishap unfolded, reports The Sun. It began when one of her cameramen lost his balance after departing the stage and had to be steadied by a nearby security guard. Gaga calmly adjusted the crew member's equipment and continued walking – only to trip herself moments later. She managed to catch her footing and carried on singing, but stumbled again just before the word 'fly' and fell sideways near the edge of the stage. The moment, caught on fan cameras, showed the singer landing close to the front row, where audience members were watching from just feet away. One shared the clip to TikTok, writing: 'MY POOR MOTHER MONSTER FALLING DURING VANISH INTO YOU [crying emoji] AND THE CAMERAMAN JUST BEFORE.' Despite the tumble, Gaga was helped up and immediately resumed the song without missing a beat. The incident took place during the first week of Gaga's global tour, which launched on 16 July and will continue through to January with a final run of shows in Japan. It follows a series of stage mishaps involving other major stars. Beyoncé was recently left suspended mid-air during a Texas show when a red car she was performing in got stuck. During her performance of 16 Carriages, the superstar hopped into a red car which was then lifted high into the air using cables. She pulled on a silver cowboy hat and waved an American flag for her in-air adventures, yet was forced to halt the song as the vehicle leaned dangerously to one side. The crowd paused when she stopped singing and signalled for help, before erupting into cheers as the vehicle was lowered to solid ground. Like a pro, Beyonce continued the song then told her adoring fans: 'I wanna thank y'all, for loving me. 'If ever I fall, I know y'all will catch me.' Katy Perry, meanwhile, nearly fell from a giant sphere on her Lifetimes tour in Australia and later appeared to slip on a butterfly-shaped prop during Roar. She had climbed into the huge metal structure when it began tilting dramatically at a strange angle. An army of quick-thinking backstage crew members raced onto the set in Australia to steady the massive prop so Katy – who was clinging on to the sides – could climb down safely. With the backing music stopped, the crowd could be heard applauding the star and shouting 'go, Katy!' as she made her way out and onto the floor.

Colorado courtroom left open-jawed as lawyer calls judge 'honey' in awkward slip of tongue

A lawyer stunned a Colorado courtroom during a mortifying exchange with a judge he accidentally addressed as 'honey' while arguing a case. Attorney William Kozeliski could barely speak after the horrendous slip up - which was captured on a livestream of the court session. Moments before disaster, Kozeliski was discussing the details of People v Delgado - a sexual assault case being revisited to evaluate the defendant's consecutive prison sentences - with Judge Elizabeth L. Harris. In 1994, James David Delgado was found guilty of raping a victim at knife point. He was convicted of a slew sexual assault and violence charges. On June 18, Delgado's lawyer, Gail Johnson, appeared in court to 'challenge his illegal consecutive sentences' to allow him to become eligible for parole after 40 years instead of 80. Kozeliski was representing the state, arguing against throwing out the original sentence. But in an awkward exchange with the judge, Koveliski started stumbling over his words. Flustered by her line of questioning, he uttered the term of endearment that triggered courtroom tension and a social media uproar. 'But, but honey,' he stuttered, wincing at the words as they left his mouth while Harris' eyes widened. Jury members, along with Judge Terry Fox sitting beside Harris, were seen fighting back uncomfortable grins. 'Oh my God, I'm sorry,' he began on his regretful tangent, which took up most of his roughly one and half minutes left at the stand. 'I don't even know what to say to that, I apologize.' Harris tried urging him to continue the point he was making before the blunder, but his embarrassment had gotten the best of him. 'Um, the question here is what happened...I'm sorry, I've just been totally thrown,' he admitted. 'Yeah, I can imagine, I'm a little thrown by that also, if I'm being honest,' Harris snapped back. After a final failed attempt at getting his argument back on track, Harris interjected and shared her own thoughts on the case instead. Kozeliski stared blankly in her direction until she finished, only making one nervously conveyed statement relevant to the case. Before leaving the stand, the groveling lawyer asked to apologize once more. 'I accept your apology,' Harris asserted while writing down her notes. 'Okay, I don't know what to say. My brain didn't turn on and I apologize profusely,' he softly responded. Outside of the Colorado Court of Appeals, the hard-to-watch clip has sparked strong reactions - with users cringing at the sitcom-resembling scenario. 'Oh boy. How embarrassing. He totally thought he was talking to his wife. I kinda feel sorry for him,' one woman wrote on X. Many other users shared the same sentiment. Someone said this was 'worse than calling your teacher 'mom,"' while another chimed in it was 'kind of like accidentally saying 'love you' when you're hanging up the phone after making a doctor's appointment,' someone.' has reached out to Harris and Kozeliski for comment. Kozeliski will be out of the office until the start of July, according to an automated email response.

Cardinals announcer makes unfortunate on-air slip-up during promo read

Cardinals announcer Chip Caray had perhaps the worst kind of slip-up a broadcaster could have. Midway through the top of the fourth inning of Saturday's matchup between the Cardinals and Reds, Caray, the play-by-play man on the FanDuel Sports Network, accidentally said a homophobic slur while doing an ad read. Advertisement The St. Louis announcer was reading a promo for the team's upcoming Disability Pride Night, which takes place on July 10 against the Nationals, and fans will take home a Cardinals cap featuring the Disability Pride flag and braille lettering of the team name. Warning: explicit content While reading the ad, Caray unintentionally said the slur while trying to say a different word for the promo. What happened next, however, made the blunder even more awkward. Thirty-one seconds of dead silence in the broadcasting booth followed Caray's slip-up before commentator Brad Thompson finally broke it to comment on a pitch that was called a ball. Getty Images Front Office Sports reported, citing sources, that Caray will not be suspended and that he made an 'honest' mistake. Advertisement A Cardinals spokesperson told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that what Caray said was 'unintentional.' Caray, who has been announcing since 1987, started doing play-by-play for the Cardinals in 2023, with his grandfather, Harry, calling games for St. Louis for over 20 years. Caray's father, Skip, was a longtime baseball broadcaster, most known for calling Braves games until his death in 2008. Last season, Caray teamed up with Joe Buck to announce a Cardinals-Rangers game, with the ESPN voice having nothing but praise for the 60-year-old. Getty Images 'Broadcasters get real territorial and Chip was the opposite of that,' Buck said during an appearance on on 'Total Information A.M.' then. 'He flung the doors open. My wife, my little boys, everybody was welcomed and he does not need to be that way.' Advertisement 'He's a rarity in this business. I like to think I'm the same way, and I know my dad (Jack Buck) was, but those little things go a long way. To know he's there to root for me tonight, I'm there rooting for him and we're there to have a good time together, it makes all the difference in the world. 'It was not that way when I started when I was ironically filling in one time and working with Ken Wilson and I think there was a little bit of friction there.'

Laura Byrne rages as husband Matty 'J' Johnson accidentally reveals the name their unborn baby girl

has made a massive slip-up on air after revealing his unborn baby's name on his podcast. The media personality's wife Laura Byrne was doing an 'ask me anything' questionnaire on her Instagram story when one of her followers brought up the moment, which she was seemingly unaware of. 'Did you punch Matt in the ovaries for revealing [your] baby name on Two Doting Dads?' the question read. Laura was clearly caught off-guard as she replied: 'He did f***ing what?!' Later on, the business owner, 39, brought up the blunder with her husband, 37, as they lay in bed together. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'Matt I have a question for you: did you say the girl's name, the baby's name, on the podcast?' she asked him in a clip posted to her Instagram story. He looked at his partner confused as he denied the accusation. 'I think you might have,' she told him, cheekily. 'I would never, never. Never would I say that,' he said defensively as the couple both broke out into giggles. Laura told the camera: 'People always ask us, "how do you know the limits when you're telling stories and stuff on the podcast?" and normally we're pretty good... Normally.' Matty began to pipe up as he sported a giant smile on his face, clearly telling a fib. 'Whoever is spreading this false information, shame on you, because that's not true at all,' he said. While Matty may have mentioned the little girl's name, it seems it was edited out of the podcast as it could later no longer be found. The couple, who met while filming The Bachelor Australia, already share little girls Marlie and Lola, and are expecting their third in October. In April, Laura announced the exciting news on her podcast, Life Uncut, which she co- hosts with fellow reality star Brittany Hockley. 'It turns out, we're having baby number three!' she declared. 'I'm pregnant guys!' Laura revealed she was 18 weeks pregnant, two weeks short of the half-way mark. 'It is a Christmas miracle. We had a really small window. I have known for a very long time. 'I found out very early on in this pregnancy, not because I had any symptoms but because my friend made a comment that made me do a pregnancy test,' she explained. Laura explained she took a pregnancy test while Matty was filming I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in South Africa but did not tell him the news until she was two and a half months pregnant. 'I wasn't able to tell Matt for ages. The whole time he was in the jungle, I wasn't able to tell him and then it was really tricky because I didn't want to tell him when it was the finale,' she explained. 'I didn't want to tell him as soon as the show, because I don't know if you guys remember, but the show wasn't filmed live this year, so we did the finale over there.' Matt also made an announcement on his Two Doting Dads podcast, telling listeners: '[It's] an October baby. 'We were trying before I went into the jungle. The plan was, we said this year 2025, if we were going to have a third, this will be the year that it happens. 'I'm conscious that Marlie and Lola are really close together, they're about 18 months [apart] and Lola just turned four, so I was like if it doesn't happen this year, it's a big gap… We want the third child to still be friends with Marlie and Lola.'
