More than 8,300kg of materials recycled through smart bins
More than 8,300kg of materials like metal, plastic and paper have been collected and recycled through smart recycling boxes across Singapore. These bins were first trialled at Bishan East-Sin Ming in 2022 and are now in use in the Ang Mo Kio area. There are expected to be 93 such bins by year-end. This comes amid a national push towards zero waste. Sabrina Ng reports.
